On paper this game looks as though it should be excellent. Certainly the graphics are amazing. Unfortunately the gameplay itself falls short. I never knew trade could be so boring! The game does give you the opportunity to gain more power later on, but it takes too long. The battle scenes between vessels are not particularly taxing to master, making them a chore rather than what something to actively engage in. To improve this game I would add a stronger storyline to it, this might help to grab the players attention. I would not have bought this game had I known how dull it was. Better luck next time...
