Great bulbs. I’ve fitted them in single bulb light fittings in living and dinning room. Fittings we’re rated at 60 watts max for conventional filament bulbs which meant the room could be a bit dark. As the LED bulbs don’t have the same heat issue I was able to fit 150w which has made the room much brighter without having to change the fittings. Helps that they’re dimmable as full 150w is very bright. Bulbs are a bit larger than standard so make sure your fitting has space.

So I bought the Osram 21w and the Lohas 23W to go into some fairly enclosed ceiling shades I bought.Was not sure which bulb would be better. Surprised how heavy both are.The Osram is nearly 2x as long as a normal compact e27 led bulb.The Lohas is in between. Similar light from both. For me the Lohas edges it.Not sure about longevitiy as only had them a week.

The 21W Osram LED E27 bulb works fine and gives light comparable to my previous 150W quartz. I have every expectation that it will last long; it has a 4-year guarantee (I had a LED filament-type bulb from Maplin that failed after maybe 100 hours, LEDs don't always fulfil their promise).

I didn't think it was possible to be impressed by the engineering of a lightbulb but this thing is impressive and I suspect that it will last for many years

I use it for reading. Enedgy efficient and hopefully will last long.Lights up immediately. 0
