I bought this to replace a filament 40W in my fridge and went for this small size to make sure lamp cover would fit. A CFL bulb was a no-go as these start off very dim when run cold, especially in a fridge! The lamp housing also had very little clearance around the original filament bulb.This bulb appears to light the fridge interior just as bright and evenly as the 40W filament bulb it replaced. In fact, I cannot tell any difference in the light quality between this bulb and what it replaced. It comes on straight away the moment the fridge door is opened.Basically I would recommend using this bulb to replace a golf-ball size bulb or with a light fitting that is awkward to fit a larger size

I purchased this based on the review from another user. It does indeed replace the 40 W incandescent bulb. If buying for the same purpose, a set of car trim removal tools like these ones on Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01H5CHC1U/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 will come in handy.

Bought this as a cheap replacement bulb for my Samsung fridge freezer after recommendation on a website at a quarter of the price of a Samsung bulb, it works great and gives off a good bright light so I can raid the fridge in the dark haha

Bought as replacement for samsung fridge. Looked on here and everyone was using this one. Great done the job easy to fit. Would have liked free delivery was quite exspensive with delivery added on.

Using this as a stair light that stays on overnight. Has a warmth to the colour and not over bright as many LED bulbs can be. Very happy. Cannot comment on longevity as less than a week of use.

I bought this to replace the bulb in my fridge freezer. For just 5 watt power this bulb is equally as bright as the old bulb it replaced so can reccommend this.

Bought this for my fridge freezer, to replace the blown incandescent bulb. This is a fantastic replacement for the old bulb and gives off plenty of light.
