I don’t know what easy to drink from means that’s one of the five stars I can give it. If they mean that as a pocket on the side of it to put your bottle and it does so I guess that means easy to drink from. This is a nice little bag. It was deal of the day it took forever to get here I don’t know where they’re made by it took forever to get. Weighs a few ounces. Very very small nice and you can fit a lot of stuff in it. Now let’s keep in mind this is not for the hiking person who’s going to be setting up camp it’s not that kind of a bag it’s not that big and even if it was there not made for that kind of stuff it would rub up against your back too much what I love the straps that go over your shoulders are very very lightweight and very durable overall very water resistant and.. I don’t know what I’m going to use it for most likely commuting over to the work on nyc or maybe even for the gym I’m not some big hiker but I’m going to be tossing stuff in it and throwing it into my car. And if I ever need to grab it out I can just take it and pull it out. If folds up into my glove compartment and still leaves me half a glove compartment and I have a Honda Civic. I think its $35 now it wasn’t when I bought it it was on sale but the company is really good they offer a whole bunch of other stuff but let’s be honest they are not cheap. The higher you go the more expensive they are but if it’s for somebody who’s looking for light weight type stuff and if you’d be able to fold it up you can’t go wrong

I was waiting to write this review until I really had a chance to use the bag, and I have to say I am beyond impressed. When I had first purchased the bag I knew Osprey made good stuff, but I admit I was a little concerned with how thin the bag looked. It looked like it would rip with the slightest bit of weight in it. I was completely wrong. I originally got the bag as a ultra light bag to carry on a cruise ship to hold my phone, camera etc. This bag folds up into a small size about the size of my fist. I ended up hauling this bag around Universal Studios, it was thrown around from ride to ride, crammed in a small locker, and the zipper was opened and closed about a million times.I even got the strap caught on a chair and it NEVER tore the bag. So then for 3 days it was thrown around on a cruise ship. Never got the slightest snag in it. I used the bag to haul extra clothes, camera, phone, hat, several tubes of sunscreen on the beach at the Bahamas. While we were there we experienced a huge tropical thunderstorm with a heavy down pour. The bag on the outside was soaked. I just knew nothing inside the bag would be dry. Once again I was wrong! Everything was bone dry. It was covered in wet sand which brushed right off. I am still amazed how lightweight and strong this bag is. It was an excellent purchase.

Purchased this bag for travel abroad and was very happy, overall. First, this is a 5 star bag. I gave 4 stars only because I ordered the bag in grey and received a dark forest green colored bag. The forest green though a nice color, it's not what I ordered. Second, the bag is ridiculously light weight but extremely sturdy. I took it to the beach and carried food, drinks, sun block and many other items totaling about 8-10lbs at any one time with no issue. It didn't snag, stretch out come undone in any way. I stuffed my medium sized mens jacket in it at one point and it accommodated it really well. As far as it's water resistance, it faired pretty well. With two nights of walking in a light rain, the contents didn't get drenched but were damp. When transporting cold drinks the condensation did transfer to the outside very quickly. The straps were comfortable even after at least 9 hours of wear per day. I almost didn't believe that it would bundle up and fit into the little pouch located in one of the pockets, but it did. Ends up just slightly bigger than a deck of cards. Also has a key hook on the inside top pocket which was very helpful for not losing our hotel key during travels. Very happy with the purchase, plus the bags lifetime guarantee through Osprey! You can't beat that!

It was perfect light weight packbable backpack for traveling with only carry on bags. Not only it was light weight and super convenient but also I loved the color! There are a lot of review on YouTube so I recommend to check them out.I loved the top pocket having nice size and key hook. It's so smart. It easily hold sunglasses, small travel wallet (or just small zip bag) and some random things like tickets, maps, candies etc.Just you might want to pack enough things in the main compartment else water bottle from the side bottle holder kept dropping as you bend down.I know it doesn't look nice to having back pack in front but I wore so for the extra security when I was in a place where I should be alerted for pickpockets. The top pocket comes right under my chin and I felt very secure and convenient too.I got it from Amazon warehouse and wasn't sure what was the quality but it was as described, just lacking original packaging, and was perfect for me.***Update***I really need to be careful with the side pocket. I was putting a metal water bottle and the main compartment was almost full but yet there bottle dropped and got dent at the bottom... I still think this bag is great and won't lower the star though.

This bag is not meant for rich people meaning that if you are rich you can afford buying several cheap bags. While poor people like me search and read to find best products in the market. The bag is good quality. I am a Sea to Summit guy but believe me Osprey nailed it with this bag. From the moment you hold the bag you can see that this is not a cheap smelly plastic bag.1). The material is very good.2). The stitches are well made.3). The straps seems to be comfortable enough.4). It has one mesh pocket for a water bottle.5). One extra small pocket on the top for easy access.6). The zippers are well made and strong.7).All this and yet is is super ultra-lightWight st only 3.17 Oz /0.009 kgRemember this bag is a light weight bag for those who want a 18L bag that is ultra-lightweight and so packable.I take this to my backpacking trips so I can use it when I want to go for small trips around my camp....etc.As I said if you are rich then don't buy this bag and go buy cheap plastic bag as you can afford buying again and again. If you are poor and looking for great quality bag that can last forever then this is the right bag for you.

Osprey has always been my go-to pack. I purchased this pack for a trip to Hawaii. This pack, which honestly, is more like a sack can be folded into itself and forced to fit in about any size space. I had a larger pack with me for our longer hikes, but carried this with me for just hikes that lasted a few hours. I stuffed clothing, water bottles, food and about every other small item you would want for a short hike. Hands down, Osprey makes the best packs and this is no exception. I now use this pack for the gym after work. It will hold shoes, and clothing. It also has a small pocket at the top which will keys, wallets, etc. nicely. Upon arrival the pack seems flimsy, but I have already put this thing through pretty strenuous test and not a single tear or other sign of wear. The only item I might add to the pack to make it slightly better (for me) would be to add straps at the bottom. While hiking, it is nice to secure a pack around the waist as well as the shoulders. However, since it is such a small pack and not really meant for long hours of hiking, it isn't necessary. I give it 5 stars for design, packability and overall usefulness.

Title says it all. This is not for back country. It’s light weight nylon is thin and can easily tear on a branch or rocks when placed/dropped on the ground (get an ReI Flashpack, if you want something light weight but more durable). Around town and small trips to the beach are this pack’s sweet spots. You can fit a lot into this thing. I am currently traveling in Miami and you can see my daily gear for sight seeing and the beach, the pack is also shown in the picture. It all fits and takes less than half the volume. There is still room for two one-liter water bottles and some (towel, ground sheet for the beach, snacks, etc.). There are no chest or waist straps,so don’t plan to run/jog with the pack (the strapless feature is another reason why I feel this pack is not worthy for the trail). It rained on us today and the pack held up pretty well, considering the lightweight design of the nylon. In all, this is a solid pack for daily use around town. It would be the perfect trail day-pack if it had at least a chest strap. Otherwise, no complaints and I will buy another once this one lives it’s full life.

Loved this bag because of HOW MUCH it holds, while taking up very little space. This was a perfect travel bag- super light, fits in any small space, durable, water resistant!Notes to consider--the teal/grey color seemed to be teal/forest green instead. This didn't bother me, but it may bother you if your heart is set on the grey-the teal part of my bag was somewhat see-through, not ideal for when you have tampons at the bottom of your bag, but then again the small pocket at the top is ideal for those items anyway. That small pocket is actually quite deep and held almost all of my make-up and small personal items.-this bag holds a lot of stuff!I was able to scrunch up my down jacket inside the bag while on my flight- very convenient.-because of the structure of the bag, it doesn't stay standing when you open it up to pull things out. If you open the zippers all the way, it folds open dropping things out. This is the compromise for having a bag that folds down to practically nothing. Again- worth it to me!

I purchased this for a trip to Chamonix, France in the summer. The weather there warranted both warm and colder temps, and I could only travel with my small, rolling carry on suitcase. Therefore, I needed a daypack to bring along that would not take up much room in my suitcase, since my gear and clothing maximized the space I had. This one was perfect! It packs down so flat, it took no space in my small suitcase, yet it was sturdy enough for my daily hikes. I was able to pack inside of it daily: a warmer coat/raincoat/hat/food/journal/camera/money & wallet/water bottle in it, and the pack held all of that just fine. The lightweight material made me barely feel it on my back, and it was great for my day hiking needs. I don't believe it's waterproof, but on a day we had rain, I just stuffed the pack under my raincoat and then it was covered while walking in hard rain. I am grateful for this purchase, because for the low cost and it's ability to pack well-- it was well worth it! it was sturdy and great!

I use this backpack all the time when I travel. When it is packed its volume is around 4x4x2 inches so it's really easy to carry. I bought a small carabiner and just attach it to the handle of a bigger bag. When unpack it is a very spacious bag with a pocket on the top for smaller items. Just beware that you don't want to carry heady loads with this back. Although the materials are very resistant and it can probably handle heavy stuff, the straps aren't designed for that (padding isn't very good, probably so it can be more compact). The most I carry is: my water bottle, a light sweater/jacket, sunglasses, and a hat.If you're visiting a new city,it's perfect to carry your essentials during the day but it's not designed for heavy stuff for long periods of time.Once again, I love this backpack and it has served me very well for some trips now. I give it 4 stars only because the straps get a little uncomfortable if you carry too much stuff.

I like the incredibly light weight. I've decided to use it as a kind of packing cube, more than a stowable bag. Here's why:Stowing it into its own pouch is a chore; and, results in a lump. I recommend a larger included pouch. It's easier just to throw it flat in my luggage, if I'm looking to take an extra container. The straps might better fit a child, or someone with a seriously narrow frame. It's not the easiest to use as a grocery bag when out shopping from the hotel, as the panel facilitates access an unloading rather than retention. As someone else noted, the water bottle pocket needs cordage to keep anything in. That omission makes the unbalanced single side pouch useless.Just a note: The fabric is not properly gray,it's sort of a green, sickly olive-gray. Too, it's somewhat translucent, be aware it may not conceal expensive items from prying eyes.I do not hate it, and will likely keep it. It's simply less versatile than I hoped.

I like the Osprey brand. It has a name synonymous with quality. I had to buy two dry sacks one for the main compartment of my back pack and one for the lower sleeping bag compartment. This smaller sack will take the sleeping bag, mattress and silk liner. There is no joy in having wet kit when you unpack after a hard days hiking. These bits of kit keep your stuff dry and you happy. Some people say a back bin liner does the same trick. When sleeping in shared rooms, hostels or albergues, these are the people that wake everyone else up rustling their plastic bags as they pack up to leave early. Personally I prefer a proper seal on a dry sack. You may think that as your back pack has a waterproof cover, why buy these dry sacks. Two reasons, when it's wet it can also be windy and your cover may not stay in place, secondly sometimes it is too much hassle to take off a heavy back pack and put it back on for what might only be a short, sharp downpour.

Positives --Small and very light.Very simple with an internal pocket for smaller items.Packs up small.Reasonable size shoulder straps make It a sensible bag to use for a whole day.Side bottle pouch (a bit loose but works well for light bottle).I carry this with me on trips to use as a day bag or as a spare, as it takes up no space it is always good to have the extra capacity. I used this to replace my Sea to Summit SilNylon bag which I use so often it has holes in it. This one does not fold up as small but the better shoulder straps are worth the difference.Negatives --No waist strap but that is hardly an issue.Colour is a bit green for something listed as Grey. Not the cheapest but with theirguarantee it should last a lifetime.A little hard to fold up (but that is not a problem).I don't like that the velcro closing pocket you fold the pack up into won't close the velcro when the bag is unfolded (but expect that is just me).

I take this little pack along while backpacking. Weighs next to nothing, but very convenient if doing day hikes out from base camp. Even while fetching water, to throw a few bottles, bladder, filter, etc. in. Note, there is zero support, this isn't intended to carry a lot of weight for a long time. But to carry your lunch and a bottle of water while you go exploring side trails, summits, etc ... sure!It would be worth a few extra grams though if they included a chest strap. I tied on a couple of pieces of guyline rope and it makes a big difference in comfort, pulling the shoulder straps in and out from your armpits. A couple of internal elastic straps across the back would be another mod I would recommend. This allows you to fold up a camp towel (or shirt even) to insert as a liner to act as a bit of soft pad against your back. With these two additions, this would be a five star pack.

I basically have carried this with me everyday since I bought it. Dropped it on concrete with a stainless bottle and it cut the bottom, maybe an inch or 2. I put a small strip of gorilla tape inside and out, and it's held up to a LOT of abuse.I saw reviews about it being a bad daypack. It's an ultra-light stuff sack lol. You can't take everything with you. That being said, I regularly carry:32oz stainless water bottle, mid-layer, maybe tights, rain jacket, UV buff, wallet, keys, beard comb/oil, and chap stick. A lot of times I have my gimble, gopro, cables or maybe even shoes, so maybe it's not a great daypack, but I couldn't ask for a better UL stuff sack. Oh, the water bottle pocket is useless for actual drinks.I'll throw a mini tripod or like a beanie in there. It's really nice to be able to toss it in your carry-on, then have a smaller bag when you're running around on vacation.
