I bought this 12L and 6L sack and just walked the Camino Santiago with them (40 some odd days of backpacking). Both have been incredibly durable (no marks or scratched or any signs of damage to the rip-stop fabric (something previous Exped drybags suffered from quite quickly while backpacking) despite regular exposure to other contents / possible sharp edges. They were super lightweight, much lighter than past bags I've had. I didn't completely test their dry-keeping qualities in fairness but do recall carrying wet laundry in them inside the main bag and nothing adjacent got wet. I used the 6L the most - filling it to ts full capacity made it fit really neatly flat into the base of my 32L Osprey pack the rectangle base shape makes it a good shape(when filled soildly)to filling available space better than an round/oval would as well as also being versatile enough to squish into different shapes when less filled. The 12L was less used but it was great to be able to squish it right down when I only needed to store one or two things in it and it fit large unsquished laundry in it well for carrying using the clip top as a handle, a big like a grocery bag. The plastic fastener was of good quality and is durable but on occasion was prone to misaligning (could break if forced/ you don't notice) and the 12L one had an annoying habit of folding one of the clips inward, getting trapped in the roll top as you rolled it down, meaning you've have to re-do it and hold it out of the way before the first roll. I have past bags that have a slightly wider roll tab width at the top which I think I prefer, it feels more secure on waterproofing and easier to roll down turn by turn but it's a minor point and it didn't affect function. The small hanging loop on the base is also a great touch, though I can't say I used / found a use for it other than lifting out from the bottom of my pack. Great product, will buy more, will consider buying an 8L or 10L if they do one.

I have been using this daysack to carry a camera insert partition inside of my existing rucksack. The square bottom form of this bag means it's perfect to fit this camera insert, and means it's perfect for my usage. I tested the waterproof qualities of this bag during a three week motorcycle journey in Vietnam, where we often experienced heavy downfalls. It kept my crucial equipment dry, and alongside with some silica gel packets, it was perfect for dealing with electronics and the humidity. I also tested the waterproof-ness of the bag when a banana was crushed inside of it, and I had to wash it out under a running tap. No water came through the material, which I was really surprised with and filled me with confidence! The bag is strong, made from ripstop nylon (very similar to a strong tent flysheet). It's extremely light, does not add any extra weight to my daysack, and rolls up to take limited extra space. Overall, brilliant purchase, and I totally recommend it!

It's a dry bag,it doesn't confess to be anything else,I use it for my two man tent,I use this for the fly & inner, keeping it separate from the poles/pegs and then able to fit everything into my backpack much easier & being honest I think it would of fit into a 6l bag but the roll top and clip of the dry bag mean it's not really something to lose any sleep over. It does the job I require of it & does it well,as with all Osprey equipment it's a quality item,if your looking for a dry bag for the same as me then look no further, for storing your waterproof jacket & trousers in to keep them away from the dry gear in your pack then again look no further,it fits my down sleeping bag in no probs &also my synthetic summer bag too..just buy it,you won't be disappointed.

I travel a lot for work often get drenched at work or sweaty and dirty and I got this to use as a laundry bag so I’m my suitcase my dirty washing doesn’t mess up my clean for this purpose it is ideal. When you aren’t using it it takes up no space at all I’m your bag and the way it closes up gives you a great handle to carry it with. Cleaning it is so easy I normally just take it in the shower with me. I haven’t used it to keep stuff dry but I have used it as a sort up bucket to move water and I’ve filled it up to the max with water and it doesn’t leak but as it’s quite thin you have to be careful handling it.I say this as I know some people use water bags to workout when they are travelling and this wouldn’t work well for this

I bought the 6l osprey dry bag at a great price when it was on offer, really pleased with the quality of it, nice rip stop material, I like the natural green colour too, I can get a lot of gear in the 6l bag too, surprisingly roomy.Seems really well made, good stitching and a nice clip and roll system to keep everything tight and secure, good for separating gear in your backpack or keeping wet clothes in etc.Could be used to keep certain equipment in too, first aid, cooking kit, underwear, micro towels etc.Good quality as you would expect from osprey, bought for wild camping, really pleased with the product and service from Amazon, would recommend.

Excellent product, bought to compress a quilt jacket, picked the Tropic Teal colour because the price was £5.99. Material has stood up to six months use, very happy with my purchase. Recently purchased two more Orange versions, again due to availability and patience on my part; waited until the price was £7, made another purchase within a day due to a further reduction @ £5.59.Last two purchases are going to be used for compressing food for wild camping; house trials have confirmed my faith in the quality of this product. A very effective way of organising items in my rucksack, the small additional weight not an issue.

Terrifically useful bag. The material's thinner than I expected but has put up with the general abuse it gets when packed and shoved into a rucksack. I keep things like gloves, a hat, a buff scarf and the like in it, all the things I don't need when starting a walk but am likely to need further up a hill. The bright colour makes the bag easy to find, the shape makes it easy to pack and squeeze air out before rolling the closure shut and clipping it together and though I haven't tested this rigorously, the bag hasn't let any water in. I'm so pleased with it that I've ordered a couple more in different sizes.

Good little hardy bags:Pros:Good box shape means things sit more evenlyStrong construction and quality materialswaterproofing goodCons:logo peels quickly (if that bothers you at all)clip looks suspect to easy damage. (however mine hasn't broken yet)if you are after a stow bag for gloves or base layers then these things are perfect.this is my third. i have a Red one for the hottest baselayer, Orange for mid temp baselayer and black for my waterproof jacket. makes diggign around in a blizzard easier

Useful lightweight square-shaped dry bags in nice bright colours. They seem fairly waterproof, but probably best not to submerge them for any length of time. These are great bags for organising clothing and gear inside a duffle bag, backpack, or travel case, but the fabric is very thin and is easily punctured so you have to treat them with care. I bought three for use on an expedition and after one month they all have gaffer tape patches.

I've got an Osprey backpack and been pleased with it. Hiking the Camino in sunny Spain I didn't feel the need to augment the rain cover's protection with dry sacks. However, I was warned, walking the Pennine Way "you'll need 'em". I certainly did.I got soaked wet through but the contents of my backpack remained dry. They should last a lifetime and if they don't Osprey's lifetime guarantee will be taken up. Money well spent.

Bought this as a backpack liner for the Hadrian's Wall hike but ended up jettisoning a load of stuff from my heavy pack and getting it transported, and I used this bag for that purpose. I found the material really strong despite being very thin and super lightweight, and when it accidentally got left out in the rain by the son of our Airbnb owner, the contents stayed dry. Very happy with it :)

Ultralight DrySacks do as the name suggests. They are waterproof, and they are very thin and light. So much so question how tough they really are, but theres no real way to test that short term. They come up a little smaller than I expected, but that's not the product's fault, it's mine. Colours are great. Well recommended for organising and separating equipment in a daysack.

I have these bags in different colours and sizes for wet days out and about. They are ideal for separating wet and dry items in my backpack and so far have performed perfectly and despite being very thin, they seem robust. Because they are sheer, they take up almost no space when empty, making it easy to pack an extra empty bag just in case.

11.6.2019

Admittedly I didn't get to really try this out properly because the week I bought it for was really dry.But... you can tell how water proof these bags are by the fact its impossible to expel the air out of them if you close the air in. Word to the wise, try and squeeze all the air out before you close it.

used on the outside of my pack for a pair of dachstien mitts. good water proofing and nice shape to aid in packing.it seems fairly rugged and i know osprey material is more durable than it looks. how long it lasts outside my pack will be seen. but it has held up fine so far
