For my first ever PC build I wanted an AIO Liquid Cooler that looked great but also performed with minimal noise. Having bought the NZXT S340 Elite Case I wanted to match it with similar hardware - mainly for astherics reasons. I was originally looking in the market for a standard air cooler but since I've purchased the i5 8600k and planned to overclock it, I knew I needed something better to keep the temps down as well as the noise. I can assure you this exceeded my expectations. My CPU temps at idle hovers around 25c-30c and when playing games it never exceeded 60c after playing for a couple of hours. Using the CAM software I applied my own custom profile and never looked back. There are about 4 presets available for the pump and fan. But I wanted full control on the temps so decided to apply my own custom profile which personally for me was a better option but the presets are good enough if your not planning to overclock especially at 5ghz. With all that being said, I did come across one or two problems. One of which involves the screws or thumb screws that locks the cooler block to the motherboard in place. The screws themselves weren't the problem its mainly the fact that they all (almost) look identical from one another. This could be just me, but trying to find the correct one was a struggle. It took me over an hour to realise I've been trying to put the wrong screws in. Eventually, when I found the correct one it was a breath of fresh air as it was a simple installation from then on. Now for the other problem, it doesn't necessarily involve the hardware itself but the software. The CAM Software is a love and hate relationship. When it works it's amazing, but when it doesn't your left with a white light and the ring is stuck on a constant loop. In worst situations, it doesn't even detect the Kraken X62!! Which means you can't even do any sort of customisation with the lights, fan/pump profile or even see the temps. As far as I know, there aren't any real solutions other than restarting or reinstalling the software or restarting your PC. In most cases this fixes the issue but sometimes you have to restart multiple times for it to detect it if your lucky. Although this doesn't happen often however it can be frustrating having to restart or reinstall the software when it does. NZXT really needs to fix their buggy software. But don't let this out you off, even though it can be annoying when it works it's great. The amount of customisations available with the lights etc are one of the best I've seen. That's if your into RGB which you should be if your thinking of getting this cooler as its one of its selling point. Overall, the Kraken X62 has a great high quality design combined with various customisations that are subjective cause some of the lighting modes I don't use but that's just me. I like to have a minimilistic setup so I only use one or two modes that are applicable to me but the other modes are great also. The only thing that's letting it down really is the software as it can be buggy at times. But other than that, this is a fantastic cooler. Highly recommend for anyone who loves RGB and customisations and a cooler that operates quietly while keeping CPU temps at a minimum.PS. The software is the only thing that's stopping me from giving this otherwise great Cooler a 5/5 stars.

It now works efficiently, but I had to change the way its fan operated, so it pushed the air over the rad and out, not pull the air through. My cpu overheated with the latter setup. And I added some extra thermal paste which may have helped.I love the graphics coming from the pump head, lots of different designs and colours you can custom setup. The cpu holder was easy to yake off, but the NZXT holder was difficult to install (my case aperture was no wide enough so had to hold plate in place whilst threading bolts through by touch, but once in and attached it holds the pump securely. The rad and fan stand proud of the case inside and because my two side fan apertures are close to the end it wasreally fiddly to get both 120mm in place and it needed two to inject enough cool air to allow the rad fan to cool the rad. in the end I had to use a 100mm fan instead though the side panel is not fully on at the top because of the tight fit.Thats just a case design gremlin so not their fault, just bear that in mind.EDIT: Not sure why but without changing anything am now getting temp warnings again and it's not that hot in the room. I was hoping this had solved my problems but I think I need to research other makers as this is crazy might even go back to an air rads now.EDIT#2. So feel a bit stupid but stupid me had applied too much CPU heat paste. I cleaned all of it off and reapplied a small amount, just a 5mm blob, tighten the bolts by hand not using a srewdriver just enough to hold it firm. Major change of case leater and fan is now mounted in roof of case.Result, no overheating problems and even in the summer too.I have changed score to 4 stars as the Logo is not changeable, its upside down due to I/O tubing being too close to RAM cards so had to route it opposite side round.

●Run downPros:°Exlant software°Easy installation°Best looking CPU all in one (in my eyes)°Fantastic build quality°Keeps your gear frosty (cold)Cons:°The x52 produces the same cooling outcome as it's big brother the x62 (Get the x52 it's just as good)°Fan edges are a little week when screwing in.°The temps in software dose not refresh very fast°Incresing pump speed dose not do much●In-depth run downThis is an excellent little cooler kept my i7 700 very at good temps, it has easy installation and looks fabulous yes fabulous the CAM software that comes with the cooler is very in detail and has a lot of options and graphs for diagnosis of temperatures and speeds the only problem is the temp refreshrate of the gage seems a little slow and jumps from say 20 to 40 then back down randomly.● BIG HEADS UP ●I purchesd the x62 and the x52 and I have some things to say about them both. So I tried the x62 for about a week and then swaped over to the x52 and I have to say the temps did not change much AT ALL at idle for 30min they stood about 1c of each other and at 100 load they where exactly the same. So much so that I returned the x62 to get it's little brother to save space for an extra fan.

I had a Corsair H100 before but the bearings went, i moved over to air CPU cooler and that couldn't handle and mediocre OC i had so i thought sod it Get the Kraken X62 and hope the fixes it, And oh boy it doesn't disappoint. It's expensive but now i can game again no problem, temperatures are decent, It's very quiet, looks wonderful and so far so good. I did read some units had problems i hope i got a good one (not too worried though as it has a 6-year warranty!)... But if there are problems i will be back to amend my review.. If there's no amendments it's a goodun! 5 out of 5 rating.EDIT: The software side has some niggles...Having to online login before the CAM fan controller software starts, seems a very silly way to do things unless i'm missing something. Fan profiles should kick in THEN login. Also having a BIG BLUE delete (profile) button right under the presets list.. seems a bit silly placement. Accidentally delete the preset i want to switch to many times. I hope they can address these easily fixable things. Still a great cooler though i won't alter my mark.

Let me start by saying I absolutely do not NEED this cooler. I have an i5-4460 so an AIO is completely overkill for me.However, the design sold this to me. The lighting effects which can be configured within NZXT's CAM software are nothing less than amazing. This product has completely transformed the look of my system. On idle, with the fans running about 20% speed, I average around 28-30 degrees Celsius after around an hour running. In intensive tasks, temps never increase by more than 5/10 degrees. One thing I was uncertain about before I purchased this product: the noise. I don't have an overly powerful rig so being silent is quite important for me. Nevertheless, the NZXT fans are surprisingly quiet and have lowered the amplitude of my system overall.Very pleased with this cooler.

I bought this to replace my stock Wraith cooler that came with my Ryzen 5 3600 as it was a bit noisy and I wanted something quieter as my pc sits next to my head by the sofa.Installation was a doddle, but make sure you have enough fan headers on your motherboard as you will need three including the CPU header and mine only had an extra two spare, which were being used for my case fans. A couple of cheap splitter cables from Amazon sorted that out though. It's wonderfully quiet in operation and my CPU temps have come right down. Running Cinebench would see my CPU temp hit 90C and gaming would see high eighties using the stock cooler and now I'm getting 71C in Cinebench and high sixties whilst gaming. All whilst it isn't sounding like a jet trying to take off.

This AIO is fantastic.I drank the full NZXT kool-aid when building my PC and this is one of the final pieces.Originally had a wraith prism air cooler which was great at cooling my CPU but it was also great at throwing that hot air around my case like a rubber ball in a metal box. The purpose of me buying this was to mostly reduce my case temperature and boy has it worked. My GPU is now much happier, my fans aren't in 100% overdrive and my room doesn't feel like the heat of a thousand suns has rained down on me.Can be a tad loud in full performance mode (meh, it's better than my fans @ 100% all the time)and cables can be a little fiddly to install.Instructions are great and mine had a model number of *-2 at the end so it had the AM4 bracket by default.

Very easy to install and looks great. CAMs which is the software offered by NZXT to manage this pump does the job but could be better. An important thing to note is that it only works on Windows but you can search for an open source AIO controller instead on MacOS or Linux. On first boot I've heard the pump can be a little noisy however I didn't find that and it had been more or less silent whilst in operation. I've set a custom curve so the pump doesn't go above 90% and I've never had a CPU temp above 70°.The only gripe I have with this is there is no onboard memory to store the LED colour and effect state which means you have to wait until the controller has loaded before your custom colours show.On boot it is just white.

Just absolutely no faults to mention if I'm being honest. Outstanding Watercooling performance while not looking like an eyesore. Setup is overall very easy but is definitely different to more commonly used coolers such as Corsair. However that isn't a fault of the product more just something to be aware of when going to install the Cooler. I highly recommend if you are to buy this cooler to pair it with an NZXT case as from my experience it cut the installation time almost in half! there is one tiny tiny downside is that the cooler is by no means silent but that's not to say its loud either. I personally enjoy the sound but I can see why it would be a deterrent for some people...

This AIO is very good for the money, build quality is superb and cooling performance is excellent. But not without its flaws. The unit is connected to the main CPU fan header on the board and set to 100% in the bios and included fans were connected to the included splitter. The pump was making a very annoying ticking/vibration during post and windows install, it only went away after installing CAM, the moment the program was installed the pump went super quiet, I set the pump speed to a fixed 100% inside of CAM and turned off the LED's.The proprietary CAM software is horrible, luckily it saves settings to the device itself so after setup you can uninstall cam.

Wow the kraken is awesome. Not does it only look awesome but it cools so good!!I have gone from a game max full tower with 7 fans (3intake and 4 out take) with a cooler master hyper evo 212 air cooler and dropped 26deg C with a kraken x62 in the NZXT H500 case with only 2 out take fans. This is a i5 8600k oc at 5ghz! Prime 95 test getting 65deg c can’t beleive the Massive cooling drop and the best thing is that this is set to silent mode and is super quite. NZXT I’ll will buy again any day of the week.Sure it is abit more expensive than some other 280mm coolers but I would pay the difference any day just from the quality and look of it

Built my first PC, bought the kraken X62 to cool my I7-9700K, performance wise does a brilliant job, idles at 20-30 (my room gets super hot) and has never rose to a concerning temp during any game so no complaints there, however the CAM software has to be by far the worst software I've ever used, the application itself constantly freezes, won't detect the cooler which is the only component I installed it for, and so I'm unable to customise the rgb mirror or have any control over the fans/pump whatsoever, I also haven't been able to find any other software to do this so I'm stuck with how it is

7.8.2018

Definitely makes your pc a lot better by a long while. I own an i7 7700k (delidded) and keep in mind how hot this CPU gets, can reach 90c without delidding on full load but with the kraken I managed to get it down to 65c-73c on full load and while playing cpu heavy games such as BF1 it stays around 62c which is pretty good for an i7. While idle it usually stays around 40c but spikes up to 50s sometimes. The biggest downside to this cooler is their software (Cam) the developers really seem lazy, the app crashes all the time but has improved after some updates.

4.3.2019

Ordered this AIO cooler to replace my H100i V2 as it was on its downfall and hitting really high temps. It is really easy to install, looks amazing and performs really well. I stress tested my i7 7700k for 10 minutes and the max temp it reached was 64c, I also benchmarked and played GTA 5 and didn't get about 60c on it so I am extremely pleased. For the noise level is it fairly quiet but can get loud on the higher rpms, nothing you'll notice while gaming though, I don't use the stock fans that come with it though I use noctuas nf f12 industrial ippc 2000pwm.
