For my first ever PC build I wanted an AIO Liquid Cooler that looked great but also performed with minimal noise. Having bought the NZXT S340 Elite Case I wanted to match it with similar hardware - mainly for astherics reasons. I was originally looking in the market for a standard air cooler but since I've purchased the i5 8600k and planned to overclock it, I knew I needed something better to keep the temps down as well as the noise. I can assure you this exceeded my expectations. My CPU temps at idle hovers around 25c-30c and when playing games it never exceeded 60c after playing for a couple of hours. Using the CAM software I applied my own custom profile and never looked back.There are about 4 presets available for the pump and fan. But I wanted full control on the temps so decided to apply my own custom profile which personally for me was a better option but the presets are good enough if your not planning to overclock especially at 5ghz. With all that being said, I did come across one or two problems. One of which involves the screws or thumb screws that locks the cooler block to the motherboard in place. The screws themselves weren't the problem its mainly the fact that they all (almost) look identical from one another. This could be just me, but trying to find the correct one was a struggle. It took me over an hour to realise I've been trying to put the wrong screws in. Eventually, when I found the correct one it was a breath of fresh air as it was a simple installation from then on. Now for the other problem, it doesn't necessarily involve the hardware itself but the software. The CAM Software is a love and hate relationship. When it works it's amazing, but when it doesn't your left with a white light and the ring is stuck on a constant loop. In worst situations, it doesn't even detect the Kraken X62!! Which means you can't even do any sort of customisation with the lights, fan/pump profile or even see the temps. As far as I know, there aren't any real solutions other than restarting or reinstalling the software or restarting your PC. In most cases this fixes the issue but sometimes you have to restart multiple times for it to detect it if your lucky. Although this doesn't happen often however it can be frustrating having to restart or reinstall the software when it does. NZXT really needs to fix their buggy software. But don't let this out you off, even though it can be annoying when it works it's great. The amount of customisations available with the lights etc are one of the best I've seen. That's if your into RGB which you should be if your thinking of getting this cooler as its one of its selling point. Overall, the Kraken X62 has a great high quality design combined with various customisations that are subjective cause some of the lighting modes I don't use but that's just me. I like to have a minimilistic setup so I only use one or two modes that are applicable to me but the other modes are great also. The only thing that's letting it down really is the software as it can be buggy at times. But other than that, this is a fantastic cooler. Highly recommend for anyone who loves RGB and customisations and a cooler that operates quietly while keeping CPU temps at a minimum.PS. The software is the only thing that's stopping me from giving this otherwise great Cooler a 5/5 stars.

I know this product has been discontinued however if you are like me and do not want to use CAM software this should still work on all NZXT AIO coolers.Instead of connecting the fan cables to the supplied wiring harness that goes to the pump get a PWM splitter cable then plug the water pump and 1 of the fans into the splitter then the splitter into the CPU_FAN header on the motherboard, the other fan can be plugged into the CPU_OPT header (CPU_OPT takes the temp from the CPU socket there for 1 fan will run slightly slower but it will gave better performance/cooling). If your only using 1 fan simply plug the fan and the water pump into the splitter then the splitter into CPU_FAN header.You will need to create/change fan profile in the BIOS as I have found 1 issue with the water pump,when it reaches above 2100rpm there is a vibration from the motor that resonates through the case.These are the setting I used on a ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2 to keep it quite without vibrating and overheating you may need to change yours as results can vary.CPU lower temp set to lowest, CPU highest temp set to 75c (this gives the fan and pump more rpm range as the temp raises, CPU low fan speed set to lowest and CPU max fan speed 96% this will stop the pump going over 2100rpm.The AIO cooler is relatively simple to install if you are attaching the radiator directly to the case and the fans underneath it.However it isn't very well designed if you want the fans in-between the case and the radiator, it does support it as it states this in the instructions and you will need someone to help you as it is awkward as you have to rest the fans on the radiator making sure the holes line up then line the holes up on the case.It comes with a lot of fixings for both AMD and Intel including AMD Ryzen AM4 and Threadripper TR4. I found that it is designed for the stock AM3+ CPU mount which means there is a risk you will end up damaging the motherboard as you put pressure on to the clip. NZXT should have made their own back bracket.If your using any monitoring software other than CAM you will notice there is a CPU fan speed that is the water pump speed, you can also see this in the BIOS.There are alot of reviewers stating they can hear trapped air in the system, mine also had this problem but seems to of sorted itself after a few burn in tests with Prime95, Cinebench r20 and FurMark CPU burn.I am currently running a AMD FX 8350 overclocked from 4Ghz to 4.8Ghz @ 1.44v with a max temp of 80c on the cores when stressed and 65c gaming.Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

So you'll see I gave this 5 out of 5 - that is a score purely for the performance. Quite simply it's the best AIO around. You can't beat the performance this thing gives. I get 5GHz OC on 9600K idling at barely 30C and under non AVX Prime 95 it's 70C. AVX is unecessary - no point proving your car can carry a jumbo jet 24/7.So for the pure performance it's superb. And that's what I bought it for. That and the noise levels.Ok, here's where it gets more complex. The fans aren't the quietest around - they give 2000RPM at full blast and they sure tell you about it. 3x120MM (x72 version) and they're not built for absolute silence,not at that pace.But you will really realistically never need the fans much higher than about 40% which is barely 900RPM and while still audible it's way quieter.However, the flaws should be highlighted now:CAM is a mixed batch - it's a decent enough app but the hardware should NOT have to rely on software to function. That this kit doesn't function at all outside windows is an appalling oversight and unnacceptable at this price range. So pure silence in idle, yes, but switch user or reboot - WOOOOOSSH as the fans go back on and the user switch process gets black screened for 20 seconds. Software is bad and that MUST be emphasised. The talking back to the mothership stuff I'm not happy with either, but I don't care as much about it as some.Secondly the install is hard - the Kraken lives up to its name with a stupid number of cables - while the basic kit looks lovely, the cabling is hideous and you MUST hook this up to SATA power or it does not work. At all. The design here is just horrible horrible horrible.HOWEVER - I have bypassed a number of these issues with some mods - I have hooked all fans up to the mobo and am using Argus Monitor (£10) to control the fans - CAM is now gone and the unit works as it should without. There is no black screen delay any more and the fans don't go ballistic outside windows now. But a lot of users might not suss to do that.I would also say the included fans just aren't quiet enough at full blast - they're built clearly for performance not total silence and you're better off replacing them with alternative 4-pin PWM fans.HOWEVER:For the basic purpose of performance and overclocking and idle silence, the Kraken is pretty much the best there is. It has some crippling design issues and they're nearly deal breakers if you can't figure out bypasses, but if you can you have the best and most efficient kit around.Just be prepared to work at it.

My first foray in to water cooling. The best configuration for my case was a 280mm radiator and I was going for a quite 'colourful' build so I decided on this as it had got good, solid reviews.Fairly easy to fit for a first-timer with the most fiddly bit being that the pipes are quite stiff to move about.The fans can be quite loud when spun right up and the pump itself also generates a bit of electronic-type noise, so it's advisable to play around with the fan and pump profile using the CAM software to only have everything really spin up when required. I have custom profiles set up so that everything is almost silent for general use but when gaming the pump goes up to max and the fans around 60-70%.It's still not that noisy like that and the fans only go up to 100% when the CPU hits 80 which tends to only be when running bench-marking or stress testing.The water block/pump looks the business with the pulsating circular lighting and this can be customised using the CAM software too.There has been a lot of negativity regarding CAM but this generally seems OK now. If you have other software that interact with your hardware, like Gigabyte Aorus or Corsair Link, then this can interfere with the CAM software meaning the CAM loses control and hence your fan curves go out of the window. So, if you have everything configured for silence and you start machine and it sounds like a jet engine, check CAM and it will tell you if another piece of software has 'control' rather than it. Unfortunately, it won't tell you which piece of software is the offender so you'll need to play around killing processes etc. and restarting CAM.Overall pretty happy with it. It does a decent job of cooling (although I would say it's not as responsive as an air cooler) and looks the business - a much cleaner look than an air cooler. It's not as silent as you might think but then it still has two fans to spin up and the pump itself can be heard when on full pelt. The CAM software, however, does now seem stable and if you do run in to any problems, check what else you're running first.

To get straight to the point, if the kraken has too much air in the pump when you switch on the system, your CPU will overheat. Let me elaborate.The Kraken is a closed loop liquid cooler, and you cannot let air in or bleed it out. THAT BEING SAID there is always a small amount of air inside, and if the air bubbles all congregate inside the pump housing it can heavily impede water flow, and your CPU will reach boiling point- not helpful when it relies on water to cool it!The instructions do not warn you of this or provide any instructions to avoid it, so here’s mine-Lay the radiator on top of your PC for several minutes after attaching the pump to the CPU bracket.The air will move up to the radiator and away from the pump, ensuring the CPU is safely cooled during your first boot.Please screenshot this if you have decided to buy, it may just end up saving your CPU.Besides that the kraken x62 and x72 AIO coolers have served me perfectly well across 3 systems, and the CAM software is now hugely improved since the 2018 era. The 2 flexible tubes are long enough for even the biggest cases while still fitting well in more compact builds.At this time the only reason to look elsewhere is purely based on aesthetics.

So I tried the x62 for about a week and then swaped over to the x52 and I have to say the temps did not change much AT ALL at idle for 30min they stood about 1c of each other and at 100 load they where exactly the same. So much so that I returned the x62 to get it's little brother to save space for an extra fan.

I have bought this product to replace my Noctua NH-D14. The case that I have used for this is a BitFenix Prodigy M, and that has a 240mm slot above for the radiator to fit, and mine fits in perfectly! (along with some adjustments)It's fantastic how you are able to rotate the L-shaped tubing on the pump, as it definitely helps on adjusting the tubes so that it has less stress, and so that there's no visual intrusion on my RGB components.The Infinity Glass implementation is superb, and I cannot recommend this design any more that what I can describe. You simply have to see it for yourself.It is quite a dear cooler for its performance. My Noctua NH-D14 was purchased for half the price and it performs a little bit better than this cooler,although this cooler is still not considered "awful" - this is definitely a fantastic contender against the other coolers like the Corsair H100i.It's definitely recommended for you to purchase this cooler if you are like me, who want RGB lighting in your PC, want to achieve high overclocks, yet keep it all in a small form factor (mATX in my case). Of course it's not exclusive for people on that list, but it certainly will tick the boxes for you if you are!

Well built and easy to install using the included AM4 bracket. There is just enough room at the top of my Obsidian 450D case to accommodate the 280mm radiator and fans. I didn’t use the supplied NZXT fans, instead I installed Corsair 140’s in a pull configuration as I wanted to maintain the RGB theme but the supplied 140mm fans appear to be good quality and will find a home on a different project. The Kraken keeps my Ryzen 2700X around ten degrees cooler during benchmark runs and easily out performs the dual fan tower cooler it replaced. The pump is super quiet and completely inaudible with the case closed up.It has some nice RGB features on the CPU block and customisable fan profiles however the CAM application required to set this up is a bit hit and miss for accuracy as well as eating system resources when running. The block is supplied with thermal paste pre applied but I removed this before installation and used my trusted Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut so I can’t comment on how effective it is.

Let me start by saying I absolutely do not NEED this cooler. I have an i5-4460 so an AIO is completely overkill for me.However, the design sold this to me. The lighting effects which can be configured within NZXT's CAM software are nothing less than amazing. This product has completely transformed the look of my system.On idle, with the fans running about 20% speed, I average around 28-30 degrees Celsius after around an hour running. In intensive tasks, temps never increase by more than 5/10 degrees.One thing I was uncertain about before I purchased this product: the noise. I don't have an overly powerful rig so being silent is quite important for me. Nevertheless,the NZXT fans are surprisingly quiet and have lowered the amplitude of my system overall.Very pleased with this cooler.

I bought this to replace my stock Wraith cooler that came with my Ryzen 5 3600 as it was a bit noisy and I wanted something quieter as my pc sits next to my head by the sofa.Installation was a doddle, but make sure you have enough fan headers on your motherboard as you will need three including the CPU header and mine only had an extra two spare, which were being used for my case fans. A couple of cheap splitter cables from Amazon sorted that out though.It's wonderfully quiet in operation and my CPU temps have come right down. Running Cinebench would see my CPU temp hit 90C and gaming would see high eighties using the stock cooler and now I'm getting 71C in Cinebench and high sixties whilst gaming.All whilst it isn't sounding like a jet trying to take off.

Just absolutely no faults to mention if I'm being honest. Outstanding Watercooling performance while not looking like an eyesore. Setup is overall very easy but is definitely different to more commonly used coolers such as Corsair.However that isn't a fault of the product more just something to be aware of when going to install the Cooler. I highly recommend if you are to buy this cooler to pair it with an NZXT case as from my experience it cut the installation time almost in half! there is one tiny tiny downside is that the cooler is by no means silent but that's not to say its loud either. I personally enjoy the sound but I can see why it would be a deterrent for some people...

This is a very strong product with both cooling and noise in mind.Pros:• Software is very straight forward so fan control,lighting,monitoring and Overlay are all in a single program.• The instructions provided are very simple and are mostly picture based to allow the user to find correct parts etc.Cons:• You need a generic backplate (one that comes with the motherboard) ~ (I had a water cooler on already which had a 3rd part mount so I needed to order a new one on amazon.)• The software can interfere with other programs such as MSI Afterburner. Meaning The graphics card will randomly boost fan speed at any point as it is based on the Proccessor Temperature.

As with most people I bought this to go in my new NZXT H510 elite build and it fits the bill perfectly. I didn’t use the included fans as I wanted the rgb fans that come with the H510elite case on display. Even though the rgb fans aren’t as perfectly matched as the static pressure fans it comes with, I haven’t seen temps above 60 degrees C on my overclocked i7 9700k.The pump is so quiet and the led customisation through CAM is great.Happy. Although I will say that if I had the spare cash I would have got the AIO with the led display as that would have been so useful at a glance to have monitored temps but I can’t justify the extra £100 just for that

Pretty easy to install, clear instructions. I used an air cooler for my i7 7700k and my temps were insanely high. While gaming (Sea of Thieves or A Way Out etc.) it sometimes went as high as 82+ degrees, now some people said it's ok, these processors tend to go high but I did not accept that.. I wanted to get my temps down, so I thought about 2 things, buying the new i7 8000 series with a new mobo or try an AIO solution. After lot of research, I decided to get this one and I was amazed. My temps went below 50 degrees while playing the same games, that is around 25-30 degrees colder than it was before.

This product is amazing. Everything, from the quality, to the looks. I have to hand it to nzxt. I have bought a couple of their products, and they are all amazing. The unboxing experience is awesome, and it just screams quality. First of all, it looks amazing when turned on. The RGB ring looks so god damn beautiful. And the fans they give you are also amazing quality. And the cooling is really good too. I still can't believe they can sell it for this price, but I don't know much about coolers anyways :P. If you have the money, and you want design, and quality, this is a must.
