After much online research, and pestering many fellow bus travellers of a younger generation, I decided that the Blackberry was overpriced, and the whizzy touch screen models were either too cheap and tacky, or receiving mixed reviews.I was tempted perhaps only by the Samsung Genio and the HTC wildfire models. In the end, I settled for the Q type but in a modern phone. Many friends recommended the Nokia C3, and this has proved to be the real deal.Easy to set up.Not too gimmicky. If you dislike Facebook, Twitter etc, just switch them off.The direct online access integrates smoothly with hotmail and googlemail, and once I switched off predictive texting, this was fine and dandy. The keyguard function is good, the screen is a good size, and the qwerty keys are neither too small, chunky, or loose plastic. Just right in fact. If I have only one quibble at this early stage, is the limited style range of ring tones supplied as standard. Definitely aiming for the younger market. Easily solved of course by a download, or just switching to silent mode.Take time checking out reliable sellers on Ebay, make sure the box contains everything including charger, extra memory card, new sim etc. Then the right seller found, a fair price can be had, undercutting the high street shops.I am very happy with the new phone, and the seller was an ideal contact, friendly and helpful. So, a big yes to the Nokia C3. Hope it lasts me a good 4 or 5 years on PAYG.And another success story for Ebay buying and selling.Read full review...

I've been a Nokia user for years now, and I'm sure anyone who has used one for any length of time would agree that they make among the toughest, most hard-wearing, reliable phones on the market. The C3 is no exception.Combining typical Nokia style with more advanced features, the C3 is an affordable alternative to new smartphones. It's easy to follow operating system as ever is a joy, Nokia seem to be one of the few designers who have a winning formula, and are quite content to stick with it. Features include WLAN and GPRS, both providing more-than-adequate internet coverage. The C3's lack of 3G interface is a minor problem, though for slight speed change from GPRS, it's not major.Overall the C3 is a stunning phone, amazingly good value for money, very well-built and an all-round good buy. Another great Nokia - we've come to expect nothing less.Read full review...

It would suggest, this mobile is for people who would like to have some latest(look wise) mobile but with functionality of Nokia in 2006-7 era. Actually i bought this for my mother as she wanted a simple mobile but yet stylish and this Nokia C3 solves that purpose. It has nice big keyboard(as compared to E71), so easy to write and get used too, bluetooth(if you are really into this).Screen resolution isn't that great but cant except crystal clear at this price..Overall i would recommend this mobile to anyone who is actually thinking of gifting mobile to his mum,dad or anyone 45+, but not for very young..

This phone is brilliant....and a fantastic metallic colour pink too! Although I had problems initially getting my head around it (as it was the fist phone I have had which offers internet access) it is really easy to use with lots of great features and a really reasonable price. The phone offers the usual Nokia features, a great qwerty keyboard and chat facility, so you are able to see the stream of messages being sent back and forth between you and another person. If I lost or broke the phone I can definately say I would go and buy exactly the same phone to replace it straight away.

I bought this phone because my old one was looking tired and this was a very reasonably priced smart phone, I really like the QWERTY keyboard and it comes with a 2GB memory card *can expand memory to 8GB* great to double up as an mp3 player. It's only got a 2mp camera which doesn't flash but that just means that it's more affordable than HTC and Blackberry type smartphones.Getting onto wifi can be difficult and I've been charged *PAYG* in wifi zones, maybe I'm just not very tech-savvy.Anyways, it's a good-looking, affordable phone which works well and I strongly recommend it.

The Nokia C3 is a fantastic mobile phone, it is a user friendly mobile, that also allows you to connect to a wifi network (be it your own or one such as BT Openworld) Texting is wasy as well, no more having to press the same key a few times to get the letter of your choice, as the C3 has a standard qwerty keyboard on it.The display of the phone is easy to see, and it is also easy to navigate around the workings of the phone. It is well worth getting one of these mobiles, I think they are avaliable on most networks (if not all)My rating for the Nokia C3 is 'Excellent'

Great budget phone, simple to use, does the basic things well.Pros:Nice bright screenLovely keypadEasy to navigate menuFeels very nice in handDoes basics (calling, texting, web surfing well.Decent CameraCons:No anti-reflective coating on screen, not easy to use under direct sunlightVodafone internet defaults to payg instead of letting you choose wlan (can be fixed easily enough if you know what you are doing)If you arent afraid of messing around with the default settings for the internet, this is a great phone for the price.

Easy to use, touch screen not so sensitive like other phones, so it's more comfortably to use. Some features not need in this phone, some are missing, but it's alright. Battery holds up to 3-4 days depends how much you talking and writing, listening music, taking pictures.... But i think this phone a little bit to expensive, cause there is other Nokia's types with better feautures, massive memories, and they are cheaper than this one. :) ie. Nokia E5-00

The phone itself, on vodafone is...limited, however, after getting it unlocked it is absolutely brill ! i love it, just beware when buying this phone, that you can keep a proof of purchase, so that when you go to vodafone to ask for the unlock code (it is the easiest and cheapest way as shops wont do it) they will ask for proof of purchase, so have your recipt at hand b4 you go and get the unlock from voda.brilliant phoine once unlock, top notch ! :)

My original opinion of the C3 was high, easy to use, & well made however after just a month I had problems with it. The phone started to freeze & this included the clock meaning my alarm didn't go off! Also several times after making a call I couldn't hang up & had to remove the battery. While this is a good looking phone it lacks the features of others, such as the ability to upload photos directly to Facebook only giving you the option of Flickr!

I purchased this phone thinking I would be able to use it. It was very wellpriced with a good discount off a good offer price. However as soon as I tookit out of the box I realised because of a disability I have this phone would notsuit my needs. I didnt even try the phone or its many features I placed it backin the box and sold it. I would buy another phone from the suppliers becausethey offered a really good service 1st class.

This is a phone thats in between the old candy nokias and todays modern smartphone. This is a sweet phone with great functions and a sweet design, i would highly recommend to anyone that would like to go through a transition between the old phones and todays smartphones but doesnt know where to start. The only downside is the touch isnt the best and the battery isnt as good as the old nokias, it only stays for 1 day

previously i had used touch screen phones although smart i found them lacking in control. the c3 has proved to me to be a great phone for internet and browsing. the c3 does lack a few things in the settings department but thats fine, i use the alarm clock everyday the calculator is easy menus are easy its altogether a nice easy stylish phone and once used i prefer this than 75% of other phones.

I am very please with my new phone and love it, it is so easy to use and i love the colour and the back protector that came with it, i think i got it a reasonable price as they are nearly £100 new so yes i am very pleased with my product.I decided to buy this item as i fancied a change from my other phone and wanted to go back to nokia and the fact that it is pink was a bonus.

Very good all round phone, can't complain about any aspect of it really. Like the look and size of it. It's not a Blackberry but there again I didn't pay Blackberry prices. It's definately a solid phone, nothing flimsy about it, you can access internet e.g. Facebook and Twitter and it's got a reasonable 2 mega pixel camera, also great sound for music/radio.Am mucho pleased.
