Plastic filled shaker eggs. Make a nice light sound. Stashed away for 2.5 year olds Christmas stocking. Nice set to add to our percussion instruments. Different sound to wooden maracas. Good selection of colours available. Good size for toddler hands.Note to manufacturer if you ever read reviews: There is an adult version with different weights producing different sounds however you have to purchase in bulk. Would be educational to produce for children or sell single different weighted eggs.

An excellent sounding shaker - just as you would expect from Meinl/Niño.Bought as a sensory toy for a baby. I would say the Maracas version with a handle (same great sound) is best for babies - lots of fun watching them shaking it themselves. Bought for a 6 month old. Look well made. Softer sound which is nice since they are constantly shaken. The colours are bright and colourful. Arrived quickly. Look exactly like the picture.Very happy with purchase and would happily buy again.

Bought this along with several other percussion items to give as a birthday gift for my 5 year old. These shakers are good quality and make a nice sound. She already had a set of maracas so these little shakers add a bit of variety!

Bought these for my 8 month old niece to play with when I look after her, they have been thrown, sucked and shook. They have fit in her hand perfectly. Good value and quality. I’d defo recommend

Our 10 month old loves these egg shakers. They fit his hands perfectly and have already improved his hand eye coordination. Sound levels are very good and I would wholeheartedly recommend them.

My little boy loves these. Really simple but effective. It feels good for him to be so interested in music and rhythm.
