Three good games, each very different but all good to play.Shades Of Death - Royal Blood takes you to three locations: a creepy castle, a deserted town and an island with a secret, all so you can preserve the peace by stopping a ritual designed to end the 1000-year captivity of an evil king. I enjoyed this game very much. A couple of the puzzles had me referring to the walk-through on the Big Fish website (the hints weren't that helpful and I guess I'm not very bright!) but it was nicely thought out and attractively drawn. ****Time Mysteries - Inheritance. Early in the game I thought I wasn't going to enjoy it much, particularly as each chapter starts in the same 'room' and with a very similar activity. However perhaps there's something to be said for familiarity, because I soon found myself immersed in the game and enjoying visiting different time periods. OK, there are a few anachronisms, such as a Victorian telephone with push buttons but, on the whole, it was pretty convincing and nicely done.Incidentally, you start the game with just 4 hints and these don't seem to replenish. Fortunately I only needed to use two, to find things I just couldn't see, so I don't know what happens if you run out completely. And finally, a note of caution regarding the background music. In certain scenes I found this quite irritating. However I'm glad I didn't turn it off because in later scenes some of it is really nice so, if you really can't live with it at any point, don't forget to turn it back on later.****Doors Of The Mind - Inner Mysteries. Saving the best 'til last (IMHO), once again I wasn't sure I would like this when it started as the picture quality on some of the search scenes was quite grainy as if I was playing at the wrong resolution. However this turned out to be quite atmospheric, as we delved into increasingly weird scenes representing Hazel's mind and her repressed memories. There is a good variety of styles too in this game, including standard hidden objects with a list of names, others with silhouettes instead of names and some where you have to place objects into the scene. You also use objects from the inventory, sometimes in combination, to interact with particular scenes. None of the puzzles was particularly hard, and the game was quite short (just a couple of hours) but quite creepy and great fun nevertheless.*****Overall a four star disc, giving good value for money and a decent way to spend a few hours.

Have played all three of these games and have found each very engrosing, easily passing a few hours before you knew it.All three games had a good story line and kept you interested. The Time Mysteries Inheritance game was, I found, a little sneaky. The hidden objects just that little more elusive than the other games, and the hints if you needed one had to be played for by a timed game. Easy enough but you had to be quick.Very good value for money, kept the old brain cells working, certainly one to play again.
