for starters, there are only two criticisms i have heard for this game1. people dont know the fighters2. bad bugs in gameplaynumber one i completely disagree with, ive been following strikeforce for 2 years and it is substantially more exciting than the ufc, plus you get to listen to mauro ranallo and frank shamrock, 2 people who know what they are taking about when it comes to MMA, not that wannabe joe rogan and the ever annoying mike goldberg.and as for the bugs, yes, but they only occur during 2 of the many selectable post match celebrations and are not enough to damage the 5 star rating this game receives.there is a fantastic career mode which sees your fighter travel around the world to train and fight in various leagues in which the rules of the fights will change,

EA have out done THQ and the UFC with this excellent and realistic video game simulation of the sport of mixed martial arts. What EA have produced is much better than 'UFC 2010', the fights feel more realistic, the controls are simpler and have a more oraganic feel, the graphics look better and everything feels less tacky than the UFC games. Obviously, one down-side is the weaker and less known roster of fighters. We do not get the stars of the UFC but this is the only catagory where the UFC games are better. Take away the roster and EA's MMA is a much better game and will appeal to the more seasoned fan of the sport.The career mode is good with much better voice-acting than its UFC counter-part.

Ill start of by saying if you like MMA you'll love this game. The single player rise to the top is good but should be taken in short periods to avoid boredom of the same repetitiveness.The selling point for me was when i played online, the game was amazing and my first fight knocking someone out with fedor was pure magic. But needless to say online experiences may vary because i have had a LOT of matches with people who will take you down and be willing to stay there for 20 minutes. Because of the poor stamina system for the mma ground game it is physically impossible to remove a good wrestler off of you if they get you down.

good game i have played ufc and found them hard to play and control. i brought this because it was keep and due to past games wasnt sure what to expect but i am very happy with this game easy to control, and fun to play the only part i am not keen on is the 8 weeks you get to trainas there are only a few training games on this hence why i gave it four stars a few more training games and it would of been perfect but dont be surprised if you find your self doing the same thing numerous times but would still recommend to any one to buy it its great fun and entertaining

Amazing game perfect rival to UFC Undisputed 3, the default controls are different to ufc but better means you can jab and swarm on them instead of having to stand still and jab and only hook when walking forwards, (attacking) and the gameplay isn't as good because playing in strikeforce with not very known fighters (to me anyway), pretty boring but choosing which company to fight with is amazing, think if you could have more known fighters and that it would be amazing.Apparently EA is doing the next UFC so we will see.Thanks

Ive played both ufc title released so far and fight night round 4 and this game armbars the living b'jesus out of all of them. Career mode is actually fun....thats right,I said FUN! And if you like fighting online your really going to like this.There is one con and that is that I get screen freezes occasionally in career mode and have to restart the console,but everything is saved and I can just jump straight back in so I wouldn't let it put you off,in any case it could just be my machine playing up.

Damn I bought this for 3.71 after reading a few dodgy reviews I decided not to buy it when it first came out. My loss. It smokes both the UFC games by a country mile.I'm a big MMA fan and EA have got the controls down and moves brilliantly. So much more enjoying than the tedious system on the UFC games.I've genuinely had 20 minute wars against AI that have been outstanding fights.Go buy it at this price ur a nutter not to.

Unlike any other fighting game this one is really violent and the fight moves are deadly,the create your own fighter mode wasn't that great as there not much you can do to make the fighters look different from others but the game is quite competitive to other fighting games as it holds better fighting moves and the graphics are really pleasing.

Pleasing graphics, satisfying combat, controls and game engine are smooth and rewarding if you know your way around the moves. Good fun, could do with more modes as once the carter is finished it lacks a bit, online has been shut down BUT this game is definitely best played 2 player on the same console, great fun

And assured by my son that it is a fantastic game, just as we have come to expect from EA. He would recommend highly. Quick dispatch and great packaging.

A solid game with plenty in there for MMA fans. Hopefully this is the first of many from EA, although as sales have been poor perhaps not...
