They have fans that clutch them to their chests like their firstborn. But as with all good things, they are not necessarily perfect. Diminutive thickness and light weight require a price. In this case, lack of storage and paucity of ports.To the rescue rides Minix. Their new NEO Storage provides 120-240 GB of additional solid state storage, while including two USB 3 ports, an HDMI 2.0 port capable of 4K output at 30 FPS, and a USB C port capable of power transmission.All this comes in an enclosure that weighs next to nothing and can be conveniently dropped in any pocket.

I have found the MINIX NEO Storage, USB-C Multiport SSD Storage Hub to be an excellent purchase.These are the big benefits for me :-Using it with MAC Book Air so no option increase the size of the inbuilt SSD therefor a great inexpensive choice to give the extra storage I required.USB-C Connection gives superb transfer speeds to the on-board MINIX SSDAll the additional ports are also very useful, especially for me the HDMI port as I use this all the time for my presentations.Build quality excellent as per all my other MINIX purchases. I would thoroughly recommend this product.

Really pleased with my purchase of the Minix Neo Storage USB-C Multiport storage Hub with 240GB SSD.I have connected it directly to my Minix Neo Mini PC N42-C (Win10) to which it provides excellent additional storage capacity. Read and write speeds are excellent and the SSD is visible over my LAN.In addition it also has a HDMI 4K @ 30 Hz port and two USB 3.0 ports for even greater flexibility.

It is so easy to use. The design and manufacture means it fits Macbooks perfectly. It just plugs in and works. We use it for interfacing with a whole bunch of Music Production tools and a big screen so we can edit on Ableton. Once plugged in we don't notice it. The storage is really helpful too.Not a lot to say - it worked for us

I'm using this with a 2017 Macbook Pro.The design is great - perfect colour match for the Space Gray.My normal usage is HDMI out, 2 phones plugged into the USB ports (charging and debugging), and a daily backup running onto the storage. All working flawlessly.
