Needed a lightweight headlight for running on roads in the dark. One of the lighter weight units out there, so doesn't feel like you are wearing something on your head. Casts light at quite a wide viewing angle rather than focused forward which makes it a good night light for running, but probably not as good for someone who is using it for repairs in the dark for instance. Has two intensity settings. the brightest is not really necessary when running on the road, but you would need it on a trail if you are trying to spot small obstacles in your way. It also has option to have flashing red LED on back which is absolutely essential to warn other road users. 90 lumens from a single LED.

Just got this today and went for a 4 mile run at 7pm in pitch black country roads. This is a really great, high powered little lamp for runners. I looked so hard to find a small one that doesn't feel heavy at the front - all the others look like miners lamps. Because the batteries are on the back side of the headband, the front lamp is therefore small and thin. The whole unit is well balanced and you really don't notice you have it on. You can't adjust the lamp angle but the beam angle is so wide that there's no need to. There are no street lamps around here but the head torch gives plenty of light to see potholes and obstacles. I am so happy with this unit.

This torch is incredibly bright and covers the ground with light to nearly 180 degrees around you, however only for about 5 to 10 metres in front of you. Absolutely perfect for running! The flashing red light on the back is great for added safety. It is very comfortable, light and balanced. Battery life is ok and lasts me about 4 to 5 hours of running at full brightness at a rough guess. Would recommend to anyone!

It is great headlight for cycling around the town. While not bright enough to cycle in the countryside in the night it is definitively great for ''to be seen''. It is very light, rear light is awesome - as I am actually riding scooter. Only downside is the on/off button - light gets turn on sometimes in my backpack.

Ideal for running, this is exactly what I was looking for. It's lightweight and has an optional flashing red LED on the back. I live on a country lane with no street lighting, as the nights are getting darker this torch is perfect for running safely and seeing the road ahead.

I bought this for my wife’s running training during the winter. It’s lightweight and sits so comfortably on her head that she forgets it’s there. The beam is ideal for running - the adverts and description do not overstate it’s capabilities. The battery life is good too.

Excellent head torch. Extremely bright. Different settings are easily accessible via one button situated at the top of the light at the front . The red light on the back battery pack is a nice touch, works well when waking on dark roads. Very comfortable to wear.

I use this for running on dark winter nights. It's comfortable and easy to adjust. Gives great visibility so I can see lumps and bumps in the pavement, and makes me much more visible to drivers. Also useful for winter evening dog walks.

Fantastic little head torch great for running bought for my father as I love mine. Takes replaceable batteries rather than plugging into a socket but as they’re led last ages haven’t changed mine yet

I use this for running on winter nights - with the batteries at the back, it's beautifully balanced and doesn't move an inch on my head while I'm running.Batteries last for ages.

This head torch is so important to us, apart from running we use this for lots of other outdoor activities. It's light (no pun intended) and gives you a wide range.

Bought this for my grandson to use when jogging on winter evenings. It is well made but not heavy and gives a good forward light plus a warning light to the rear.

Excellent head torch, much better to have battery pack at the back of the head then the weight doesn’t weigh it down over your eyes all the time.

Excellent lightweight head torch beam is very bright just right for my night runs with the running group.
