f you want to turn night into day then this might just be the thing.3000 lumens, what ever lumens are, let's just call it bright and whatever you do don't look into the torch when it's on. It is like looking into the sun and you will be blinded for around an hour afterwards.Made of quality grade aluminium it is shorter than many torches, but with three extreme LED's the beam projects for around 500m, it is also fairly hefty. It has three light settings, the maximum of which should give you around 5 hrs of use. Charging time is around 8 hrs. It has an on/off button that also operates the light settings. The button also shows a charging light and tells you if the torch will need a recharge.Stand it on end and the flat base will give you and uplighter. Finally you can adjust the beam from spot to wide angle but this cannot be locked. It has a charger and a separate USB charging lead, the lead is plugged into the side of the torch at 90 degrees to the on/off button. There is a rubber cover over the charging point. Surprisingly the torch came with an EU two pin lead which is detachable from the mains charger just like most two pin electrical equipment leads. No three pin cable was supplied so I expect this was a EU supplied product, that or they deliberately left out the 3 pin plug because of Brexit. There are pretty much no downsides to this torch, shine it into the sky and you’d think it was a searchlight. One point to mention is that the torch itself can be a bit slippery to hold as the case is smooth aluminium. It is also cold to the touch and in winter you’d probably want to wear a pair of gloves. The light can give off a bit of heat though. I have wrapped the torch in grip tape to make it easier to hold. All in all this is an excellent torch, and it was a great price here on Amazon compared to the Lenser website. It was a steal. Too good to be true? Not this time, unfortunately for any new buyers it has just got expensive again. If you are looking for an industrial capacity torch I’d recommend this. If you are looking for something a little more pocketable then go for the Lenser P7R. That’s my other torch.

It's a great size and looks like a very high quality product. Apparently the beam can be focused - just by pulling the torch head away from the torch! I tried this with mine, but a combination of cold hands and other torches to test meant I didn't actually check it (unfortunately!). This would be a better model if it had a small case, and a shoulder strap.I'm an ecologist and was looking to use it for torching ponds; alternatives without resorting to Clulites include the larger X21R.2 and the Fenix TK75, both of which have straps. I've chosen the Fenix because it's the same size as this model but has the capacity to focus and has a compact case and a good shoulder strap.Where this excels ahead of the Fenix is that it's an all in one product - the battery can be replaced, but it doesn't need to be removed to be charged. I'd also say the light quality is diffused slightly more evenly, whereas the Fenix has white spots which make it less effective on close surfaces. Also apparently the focus!

Ok, so i work a tanker and go to farms picking up milk, so you can imagine it's early in the morning. The torch is so bright i have to be careful not to scare the cows being milked. The beam from the lantern is wide so illuminates the whole area very well, three settings allow the reduction of intensity of light ,so very useful and saves battery power too. I would give the torch a 8 out of ten and my reasons are, 1 you cannot adjust the beam. 2, it is heavy. 3, It's very expensive. 4, Its end is wide and you can't put it in your pocket or jacket pocket. PS a safety note do not look into the torch when on, it is so bright it will blind you, equally do not shine it to other folks faces they wont be able to see for some time.Hope this helps. All in all a very serious unit.

Just bought this flashlight. The best I have ever had.I own the following Led Lenser flashlights: P7 (old model, 10 years), P7R (new), F1R (new).I also own one Fenix E12, and a lot of budget flashlights. But I wanted something to change night to day.And I want to have a flashlight with rechargeable battery and both flood and focus light. This one checks all my boxes, and it is really a quality product.A bit heavy, with no belt clip, but it is really well balanced.I can even shift flood/focus using just my thumb.I work as a guard, and i patrol buildings and outside areas at night.Nothing wrong with P7R, with 1000 lumens. But this one is unbeliveable. If you want a well build quality product and have 190£/200$ to spare.Look no further, buy!

This torch arrived very promptly, ahead of time. It is beautifully made and engineered. It is very bright indeed. The Advanced Focus System works v well and you don't get the hole in the middle effect that occurs with reflector focussing. For the light output the size is modest and it is easy to carry, though it would not fit in a pocket. The only slight negative is that the version shipped by Amazon comes with a continental 2 pin plug on the charger lead, rather than a 13 amp plug which is provided by other suppliers. It is simple to swap this lead for a IEC C7 to 13 amp, I had a spare.

It feels great in the hand and has a nice weight to it. I can confirm previous mentions of grip. I would wear gloves as you could drop it with wet hands. It does come with a wrist lanyard which I will always use as this is an expensive piece of kit. This will pay for itself eventually as all of the faulty/broken torches at the back of my junk drawer will testify. The 7 year warranty also helps with that. The one thing I wish it came with is a belt holster of some kind as the head is large and won't fit in your average pocket.

Didn’t think this listing was legit initially as it was nearly £100 less than the RRP and cheaper than any other website however it arrived, it’s genuine and I’m very pleased. Very powerful torch, few design issues which could be better such as having a textured grip and quicker means of accessing the strobe mode but it’s a very bright, well made and solid torch.

Completely outshines all the head torches I own and I use for hiking. The unit isn’t that heavy and fits in my smallish backpack ok. The battery still good after 3 hours on full power, so perfect for the job at hand. Time and time again I have to assist climbers without adequate equipment and this torch certainly does impress!

Bright. So very bright. I shone it in the dog's face and he's been bumping into things for 2 days. 3 light modes. Starts with retina-searing brightness, one click to plain bright, another click gives you barely on. Easy to recharge the battery. Not built to fit comfortably in your trouser pocket. You can also focus the beam.

Indescribably powerful beam. It may be pricey but for my purposes (sailing at night and needing to pick out obstacles such as unlit buoys) it is invaluable. I used to carry mega-torches the size of a suitcase for this purpose, but this is MUCH better

I was concerned this might be either an imperfect model or a fake because the price is so good BUT it is perfect brand new of current model and is 100% genuine LEDLENSER product. Brilliant torch - pardon the pun.

Powerful beam adjustable spread. Bought for myself after gifting my wife the single bulb variant for Christmas, she’s now decided her need is greater than mine and we’ve swapped.
