Bought for my daughter for Christmas - quite last minute I may add (it wasn’t part of her original list to Father Christmas but her teacher decided it was a ‘good’ activity in the classroom to hand a load of 4-5 year olds a toy catalogue to go through it so they could write a list to the big man ... two weeks before Christmas! So here we are ??)My daughter has not stopped going on about this for days and is convinced Father Christmas is going to get it for her. She loves unicorns and she loves slime. I’m not too keen on the thing, I find it weirdly sexualised and as much as I’m all for creative toys, I would have avoided getting this if I could, especially at £50 at this late stage before Christmas (we’ve made our own slime before with bits from the pound shop and supermarket, literally less than a fiver!) Seems like a waste of money to me but then again, if your kid is really keen on it and still believes in Father Christmas, what can you do?I just thought I’d leave some tips for parents that are buying/bought this as I’ve had a bit of a crash course! You can see what one you have by inserting your phone into the the carry handle slot and taking a photo with the flash on. Handy if you find one in the shops (gold dust right now apparently) but if you bought online like me, you don’t have a choice ... but at least it will give you a chance to ‘talk up’ the one you have if it’s not your kids first choice. Please do watch some unboxing videos on YouTube so you’re prepared for what’s going to happen. Most of them go through the process of making the slime. I see here on other reviews people have been dissapointed, sounds like the instructions in the box aren’t great, so do your homework! From what I’ve seen it’s very involved so any kid under 10 will probably need help. Also the smaller £9.99 key ring unicorn slime by the same company can be used as ‘refills’Four stars as my kid is going to love it, star off for me as I already hate the damn thing! Doing the ‘homework’ on it had made me have an existential crisis - what has become of me?!

My 4 year old has been utterly OBSESSED with watching Poopsies on YouTube and was over the moon to get one for Christmas. We explained to her that poopsie was a surprise and she may not get the one she wants, as you can't choose. Which she was fine with, but was lucky enough to get her favourite, Rainbow Bright Star!Poopsie was £35 and for the amount of joy it's brought her (I've had fun too!) I think it's been totally worth it.The toy looks extremely cute, I love the look of the packaging too. However I couldn't help think, what a waste of plastic / rubbish you're left with after unwarping each of the 'suprises'. I unfortunately don't think it's recycling friendly.Which is why I gave the packaging 3 stars.I read the instructions carefully before attempting the slime. All of each were clear and easy to follow. After feeding her and once she pooped the slime, it took 15 minutes to thicken before adding the shimmers and sparkle. We had great success and the first we've made is very pretty! It's a lovely consistency and very stretchy. My daughter loves brushing Bright Stars hair, dressing her and feeding her water to make her 'wee'. This could also be a great toy to help with potty training children also.My only other issues is you only get enough to make 4 slimes and it seems poopsie do not sell refill packs. Which may be something to consider. I'm going to research and see if I can make my own once the other 3 run out.But it's been absolutely great fun so fair and she's looking forwards to making the other slimes at a later date.

We've got the pink one!!!!!! My daughter can't wait for Santa to bring her this for christmas. Basically you get a unicorn with a potty and accessories and you can make 4 or 5 different slimes and even add a scent and glitter to your slime. You can also buy add on packs to make even more slime. There are 4 to collect altogether and in this particular set you can either get the pink or rainbow one and in the other set the blue or green is available you don't get to choose which unicorn you get, it is a suprise. However I did read a review on here that you can use your camera on your phone with flash and take a picture in the slit at the top to see which colour you have which is what I did but i had to put half of my phone in the slit to be able to capture it on the camera. These unicorns are popular for quite a large age group from around 5 to about 12 but i know my 3 year old son will be pinching his sisters slime too (age 9). I would reccommend this toy but I would also advise to make the slime on a wipe clean table in old clothes because my children have played with other slime and it has made little hard spots on their clothes because it doesn't come out once it's dried and you wouldn't want it sticking to a carpet.

Ordering, payment and delivery were the easy bit. Faffing around with mixing powders, feeding the doll with the tiny spoon and shaking it around before removing its hard plastic pants to sit it on the potty is a bit beyond my comprehension, but I guess I'm a different generation! Warning: be sure to cover your working surface with a plastic table cloth as the powder goes everywhere. The doll comes with enough powders to make only 3 or 4 slimes but you can order more online. By then, I suspect that my niece will then have found something else to occupy her..... I have to give it 4 stars as it does what it says it does.My personal opinion is that the money could have been better spent on something else but she disagrees with me haha :-)

Bought for my 4 year old who is just obsessed with things that pop at the minute. The process for making glittery ‘poop’ is not quite as straight forward as you would expect. You feed a number of components into the unicorns mouth then shake it about before dumping (no pun intended) the contents of its stomach into a potty. Then you wait fifteen minutes before it starts turning into slime. Not a lot of children are that patient let me tell you! The whole process would be more straight forward without the unicorn! That being said it is of good quality and the hair and features are impressive.

My daughter got this for Christmas 2018. To be honest I think its a lot of money for a product that makes so much mess and is hit and miss whether it actually works. We tried 2 times before we actually got any kind of decent slime from it. It leaks and the ingrediants (glitter, water etc) end up everywhere. The Unicorn itself is lovely but in the 10months since my daughter got this she has probably only played with it a handful of times.

I got this for my 4 year old. I hesitated because of the reviews but she wanted it from Santa. We had no problems making the slime as per instructions. The only time we created a mess was when I pressed the belly button before we were ready. The unicorn is very cute and my daughter loved feeding her. The only downside as it is with all these surprise toys is the rubbish as everything is packed individually

on the first go we messed up, i didnt follow the instructions properly. second go, perfect and mess free. although it says to wait about 15 minutes for slime to set, it took about an hour for us. be patient and it will turn into slime eventually! a good toy for unicorn mad children, over priced but so are most things, one complaint is you cannot buy refill sachets seperately.

Just received them today. Bigger then expected I put my camera in the slit at the top and happy that I have one of each. My girls will be happy little campers on Christmas. I live in the US and they are sold out everywhere and the US site are selling them over $100. By ordering on the U.K. site I still saved money even with the postage and packaging.

Bought for my daughter for Christmas as it was on her list. She fell in love with it when she saw it. She was also very excited to make the slime which we enjoyed making together but it did require a lot of help which she was frustrated by but she loved the finished slime. We have made about 4 different slime using all the packs it comes with.

My 8 year old is a massive poopsie fan, so these always go down well. Great gift, remember to read the info included as each series changes the way to make the slime. Nice collectible afterwards to add to her collection. Is a blind bag, so cannot be certain of what you’ll receive, but they all do the same things.

I’m not really sure what this is and, even as I’m writing the review, I’m a bit creeped out by the photos of the product.Anyway, it’s what our five year old wanted as her main Christmas gift. She was very happy to receive it. She does spend a lot of time brushing its hair so that’s got to be good.

My daughter wanted one for Xmas based on a toy review she had watched on YouTubeWe didn’t want to use the slime element in the toy we mixed it up separately as my daughter didn’t want to ruin her toy.The doll is lovely. There is a lot of wasteful packaging I agree with other reviewers.

Super cute unicorn, accessories and a fun to open all the surprises. My daughter loves slime so for her to make slime by feeding the unicorn was really fun. Only downside is you cannot buy refill slime which is bad as the toy cost me £60!!!

I hate buying more plastic flash in the pans but my daughter asked for this for Christmas. It’s easy enough to use but with adult supervision. The doll is cute. Doesn’t make a mega amount of slime but for a 4 year old it made enough
