This is a really good quality jigsaw.I bought this for my three year old as he loves puzzles and found that some of the smaller 50 piece ones have such tiny pieces they can be too hard for him.Despite this having 100 pieces, he completed it with only a little adult help.The pieces are large enough to have a decent amount of the puzzle to see so you can match it to the picture on the box.As a tip we found it easier to do all the giraffes across the middle first.The outside edge, is very plain with not much to distinguish between each part, so unusually it was actually easier to start in the middle.The puzzle itself is of good quality.The cardboard is nice and thick as you can see from the

The product arrived, I thought it would be wooden (I guess as most Melissa and Doug products are), silly really as it is 100 pieces. The pieces are fairly large, my 3 year old is fine with it. It is a lovely puzzle the children enjoy putting together and has re-ignited their enthusiasm for jigsaw puzzles. It comes with a small poster naming all the creatures in the picture, which my two boys liked as lots of strange names, they also quizzed me on why all the weird looking fish with no eyes were at the bottom of the sea and why the reef was only near the surface of the water so overall a very educational jigsaw puzzle.

Once again I am really pleased with this product. We have 3 Melissa and Doug jigsaws as the pieces are so nicely cut and well made of sturdy cardboard. The fit together tightly and the picture is a great quality.A nice extra touch is the picture inside which is numbered so you can identify each fish/animal in the picture.My son gets easily frustrated but these 200 pc puzzles always relax him and he completes them in around 30 minutes. Thumbs up from us!

Bought for my four year old although my twelve and fifteen year old really enjoyed helping him to put it together. Very rarely do I find something that interests them all given the age gap but this gave them around an hour of chatting, interacting and working together. Has come out of the cupboard lots of times since I bought it a few months ago which is great. Very well made and just enough challenge to keep them occupied. Would recommend.

Fantastic quality and design, my three year old goes wild for these puzzles - I've had to buy them all now! The quality is really very good for the price and the picture is colourful and engaging, even the box is much sturdier and nicely printed than other puzzle manufacturers, they also come with a key to identify all the sea creatures which is an extra bonus. These puzzles are also huge, over a metre in length! Makes a great gift!

Excellent jigsaw; good clear picture; nice chunky pieces which are easy for youngsters to handle; good overall quality.The puzzle is longer than the conventional shape of jigsaws which I think helps children to reach all parts of the puzzle even though it is quite large.Comes in a sturdy box. Also included is a picture of the puzzle on glossy paper with a key to the names of all the dinosaurs. All in all, an excellent purchase.

This is the second puzzle we have purchased from M&D. We are now the proud owners of 3 M&D puzzles. My nephew is 3 and the size is perfect for him. He does need some help to get started but once he sees the picture he wants to do it on his own. The colors are bright, the pieces are sturdy and we consider this to be a great addition to his playtime. Highly recommend if you are looking for a puzzle for a toddler in your life.

my 2 year old was getting bored of his little 24 piece puzzles, its very hard to entertain him for a long period of time, until i found this puzzle! he loves it, not too complicated but challenging in a good way, he quickly got the hang of it, its huge so easy to find the pieces he's looking for and he gets really proud of himself when completed, will be buying more puzzles from melissa & doug, best i've found so far!

It's now my 3yo favorite puzzle. It's funny because the other day I saw her doing a normal-size 60pc puzzle on the floor, and it looked so tiny. My child had mastered 60pc puzzles, but was struggling when I tried to give her 100pc - it's just too many pieces (I mean come on, she is 3). However this one is easier because the pieces are so large. I would recommend it for anyone in the same circumstance.

Good quality jigsaw. I ordered the 100 piece pirate ship one (not Melissa and Doug) at the same time and this was by far the better jigsaw which should last a good few years. The other one by comparison was similar price but was almost disposable considering the thickness of cardboard and quality of paper picture. This is also a nice large size which makes it more of an achievement in the kid's mind.

This puzzle was purchased for my 5 year old Son as a Christmas Present and it is well worth it! The quality of the puzzle is excellent, the pieces are very sturdy and the Safari Picture is absolutely beautiful when completed (My son likes naming all the animals after!) The 'Melissa & Doug' Products are excellent as I have brought others in the past. A definite Must for a Puzzle Fan!!

Bought for my daughter last xmas, have done it numerous times with my 5 7 and 10 year old, the picture is great the mixture of animals provokes good conversation and the pieces are good enough quality to take a battering from any child. Its also a very long jigsaw which allows more people to get around it when building which was useful with all 3 kids involved. Cant fault it.

I bought this for my 3 year old son for xmas because he could do all the 60 piece puzzles and could not get a puzzle inbetween 100 and 60 piece. I do have to help him with it because it is quite hard for him but it is a great puzzle snd will be good when he is a bit older. It is a very large floor puzzle but it is well made, I would ddefinitely recommend this puzzle.

My 2.5 year old loves doing this over and over again, the large pieces are sturdy - good job we have a very large table for him to build it on as this is not small. Overall seems to stimulate his brain, it is quite hard but not too difficult to complete being 48 pieces. Have ordered most of the others as well as it keeps him quiet for a few hours at the weekend.

Having completed several 48 piece jigsaws with ease, I decided to challenge my 3 and half year old grandson to something al little more challenging. He loved this and still completed it quite easily although it took him longer. A quality product with lovely colours and much to discuss in the finished image. Would thoroughly recommend.
