Much bigger than our other Melissa and Doug puzzles, but a great puzzle. Nice big pieces in random shapes, a good challenge for my puzzle mad 2 year old. Only gave 4 stars as sadly Melissa and Doug quality isn’t as it used to be. There are several areas of manufacturing inperfections, which is sadly quite common with Melissa and Doug products now.

Fantastic puzzle for my son who is still 22 month old but he manages to do it alone! As for description there are 5 animal shapes and the pieces are solid wood. My son uses to move the pieces outside the board and try to make the picture alone,than he put everything back in place.

This puzzle set is well loved in our house. Our 2 year old does them mostly on her own with occasional assistance. I'm not sure how well the paint will hold up as we're already seeing some chips and scratches after just a couple weeks. Maybe it won't get any worse.

Very large, chunky pieces. A lot bigger than i was expecting but, my granddaughters love it! The 3 yr old does it quite easily now after a few goes. Her little sister, 19 mths old can do a lot of it by herself now.

This puzzle is the perfect step up from Melissa and Doug chinky puzzles. It’s challenging for my 22 month old son, he still needs help completing it but really enjoys playing with it.

This was a present for my two year old niece and according to her parents she is enjoying playing with it very much.

Love these puzzles, have three of them now and myb3 year old loves them. Quite pricey but worth it
