This is a really lovely playset featuring Barbie as a pre-school teacher. Nice to see her in a new profession. In this set you receive a Barbie doll dressed in yellow leggings, a blue spotty top, white flat trainers (removable) and a pair of glasses (removable) She has fixed arms and long blonde real hair. You also receive a little girl who is wearing a romber dress and pink trainers (removable) She has posable arms and waist but her hair is plastic and fixed in pigtails. The accessories you get in this set are a teacher's board with changeable blackboard and shapes (these are stickers) on top of a shelf , a plastic teddybear, lunchbox, plant, hamster in a cage, fake plastic books and a plastic chair for the girl.

This is a nice set which has a standard sized Barbie in the role of Teacher and a smaller sized child doll for the pupil. My Daughter likes this play set and it has been played with a lot since it arrived but mainly the smaller little girl doll.There is a desk, rotating board, chair, bag, teddy, book pile, plant and even a little hamster inside a tank which my Daughter loves and I can see being one of the first things to be lost.One niggle and the reason I can't give 5 stars is that the sticker on the rotating board is completely wonky on ours and I would have preferred (as much as I hate applying stickers on my children's toys) the option of applying this myself as at least it would have been straight.Barbie is dressed in yellow pants,

This is part of the "Career Barbie" set, and apparently there are 180+ careers to choose from (who knew women had so much choice) which is interesting as the Mattel web site only shows 35 dolls in this collection and I've love to locate the Barbie Beekeeper.... but back to this product.The set comes with actual Barbie, as others say, complete with glasses, and small bits such as teddy, pot plant and a flip board. It's a nice idea to see Barbie outside of her glam phase and her outfit of leggings is certainly a more realistic choice. It's not an overly "pink" item either, just the pupil's chair is pink, the rest bright colours.If you can't track down Barbie President (again, not on Mattel's website),

This range of Barbies takes her into career mode, the other set we have is the doctor one and its a good format. in this set Barbie comes with a teaching board, pupil, lunchbox, school pet, teddy, backpack and chair. its a bit of a 1 on 1 teaching session so another 29 dolls will be needed to bring this up to modern schooling ratios. it's good to see Barbie take on some different roles, remove some of the more stereotypical pink short clothing and help kids expand their play into different scenarios. Price wise i think its a bit much still, other doll sets offer better value for money so if you arent a brand snob you could do better.

Nice to see the move from the Party Girl dolls to a Career woman. Yes, I did chuckle that they put glasses on her to show she is an intellectual but it is the whole package that makes this good. The child doll is delightful and the accessories, especially the hamster and the teddy bear are so cute. Will need some more children to make this a classroom and not private tutor but this is a good gift for a child. Most of the accessories are not exclusive to a classroom and the table, chair, plant, hamster and teddy can be placed in any Barbie room.

This is a fairly typical small Barbie set — which means that our daughter likes it a lot. It contains one doll (suitably made to look like a teacher by giving her some trousers and a pair of glasses, which is slightly amusing), a blackboard, a child, and a few other plastic bits and pieces. The good thing about Barbie sets is that things are interchangeable, so our teacher Barbie, having spent some time teaching, has since been cooking and horse riding. This is a nice little set that our daughter thinks is great. Four stars.

This playset is so much fun. I suppose it is a little stereotypical to give Barbie a pair of glasses, a blackboard and a young pupil, a few accessories and then say that makes her a teacher, but there is a limit to what you can actually provide and this set has a lot of play value.Some of the accessories, such as the class pet, and lunchbox, are really fun. My niece has had a lot of fun playing with this and having Barbie teach her young charge. I think this is a nice set, and part of a good, themed series of toys.

You get two dolls in this set plus the accessories which, as is usual with Barbie toys, are small and easy to lose.I do like this set as it shows Barbie doing something that my granddaughter really understands and experiences every day and is not all about what she looks like. The Barbie is pretty standard although I really wonder why she has to wear glasses just because she is a teacher ???? I like the child doll as well and, of course, both figures have now been used in lots of games and activities.

Barbie, a classic toy that just never got old. She got more stylish with the years and far more relevant than she was. This latest set is no different and comes together with a heap of accessories for her new career. Ours is currently sat in her new little home in the gigantic house she now lives in, complete with career themed rooms.As always, Barbie is beautifully made with brushable hair. She is very colourful and petitely proportioned. Perfect for any little girl wanting to play dollies.

Truth be told, this set makes me chuckle a bit as Barbie teacher appears teacher like due to her demure dress and black framed glasses!! ?. However, I don’t mean to be cynical as it is such a lovely Barbie set! Comes complete with teacher Barbie, blackboard and mini pupil. I think children will love this and it’s refreshing that Barbie has been modernised to actually have a career. My daughter adored this and has played with this for hours. It’s a lovely gift for Xmas ?❤️

I got this for one of our younger family members who hasn't been well. It's a great set, comprising barbie as teacher,a smaller doll as pupil, plus a unit with chalk board, and several smaller accessories, for instance, a plant, clock, chair, teddy and hamster. An ideal gift for any child who might have an interest in being a teacher when they grow up! It's also reasonably robust, and a good price. Brightly coloured and engaging, this should provide hours of fun!

I am pleased to see that Barbie has some aspirations in life.The accessories in the set fit the theme well and provides hours of entertainment. Being Barbie the doll is well made, but i'm not sure how long some of the accessories will last, particularly the poles holding up the chalk/picture board.While it has been a massive hit I do think that £27.61 is much too expensive. I don't think it is interactive enough to justify that price tag.

This Barbie set is great for imaginative play for all children aged around 4 to 10.She is suppplied with teaching accessories and furniture, and a companion child to teach so your child will be able to imagine all sorts of role playing scenarios.The Barbie brand stands for innovative design and quality, and I’m pleased that they have a range of dolls that have careers and are good role models for young children to aspire to.5 stars

My 6 year old daughter loves to play school with her friends so this set is perfect. She enjoys teaching her student shapes, letters and numbers from the blackboard. She helps her student take care of the class hamster and plant then reads her some stories. It's time for lunch so the student sits down with her lunch box and Miss Barbie gives her a teddy when she gets upset. This is a small set but it's perfect for school role play.

This is a really nice Barbie set showing Barbie as a teacher. Featuring the main Barbie doll in "teacher attire", a small child, a board and some props there is plenty to let the imaginative ideas flow. It will probably end up in a box with lots of other similar dolls which is great as the originality of children play can really come to the fore.The quality seems good and I would recommend this.
