This was bought for my two and a half year old Sofia fan. She hasn't played with the animals much yet but loves to carry Sofia around with her.The animals make Sofia talk when placed near her amulet. They do need to be placed very closely for them to work which I found a little disappointing and when my little girl tried, she did find it a little fiddly to do but I'm sure she'll get the hang if it. Right now she's just interested in the doll itself. You can also press the amulet for phrases to be spoken so she's happy enough with that for now.I didn't actually take Sofia out of the box on Christmas morning as the kids woke up at the un-Godly hour of 1am. Luckily Santa had not long finished delivering the pressies!!!

I have given this 5 stars as my grandaughter absolutely loves this doll which I bought as a Christmas present. She's not particularly pretty but she is well made and now much loved by grandaughter.The service from Amazon was excellent as my order was processed and Sofia actually came from the USA but well within the quoted delivery period. She wasn't very well packaged in the delivery box - the doll was in the manufacturer's packaging and then this was put loosely in a delivery box with no protective packaging around - but she did arrive safely although the manufacturer's box was slightly dented. I didn't complain about this because it was only the packaging,

Bought this for our 3 year old last year and it a great buy at a great price. Product is as described and pictured. Sofia interacts with her 3 little animal companions and has quite a few sentences for each. She is small in size (probably an inch or 2 smaller than the average Barbie doll) but she is very pretty and the dress is quite well made. I have seen that some people say the hair appears greasy but I assure it is actually not and with this doll now being a year old the hair has remained well in tact unlike some of the previous dolls purchased. The toy still works as it should and I have not replaced the batteries since I bought it, now my daughter is 4 going on 5 and she still loves this doll.Good product,

Lovely little doll, Sofia not only talks to her friends, but her friends talk back.You need to hold the friends very close to her amulet and wait a little while before the speech begins, it is also rather repetitive regardless of which friend you are holding up - they went to so much effort you would think the speech will be a little more varied.My three year old on the other hand LOVES it, so I've given it four stars.

I ordered this for my grandaughter's 5th birthday. As I was away at the time I didn't see her open it, but a text from my son informed me that one of the birds did not respond to the doll's voice, but on return home it seems to be ok now! I ordered it on 21st March and it arrived on 26th March as expected. I also ordered The First colour and Sticker book to go with it which she loves.

I bought this doll for my daughter, for Christmas. She will love it! Can't wait to see her face, as she loves watching Princess Sofia on TV. It is a perfect size, for any fan! Would highly recommend! You put the cute little animals to Sofia's necklace and she will talk to them! The doll looks really good to the TV series Sofia! With her cute Purple dress and cute necklace!

I was unsure what to expect re the size of the animals etc, with a 2 and a half year old, but as it turns out they are a good size, and the doll is lovely. Nightmare to get out of the box, using pliers etc to extract plastic tags like those you get to hold on clothes price tags etc, but in the end all good, and a very happy little girl who wont leave the doll alone

My daughter-in-law suggested I buy this for my granddaughter as she loves the cartoons on the Disney channel - I think the stories are great as they all have a moral story to tell - should be more to bring back old fashioned standards. Won't know final outcome until Christmas

Was amazed when it came and I saw how big the packaging was as I presumed the doll to be much bigger. The price I think too high but to see the look on my grand-daughter's face when she opened it, and won't put it down is just priceless!!!

I thought this would be the same size as a typical doll (like barbie) but Sofia's head is massive - 2/3 times the size of a normal doll. Other than that, it's brilliant as a toy although I had bought it initially to make a cake around it!

I think this doll is good for any Sophia fan but I must say it is expensive for what it is but that's the price we pay for having kids that like Disney programmes so what more can I say I would say buy it just alittle dear.

Luckily we managed to get this when it was reduced and I'm pleased as I wouldn't want to pay full price for it, even though it is good and our Sophia mad daughter really loves it! Sophia's voice is accurate to the cartoon.

My 4year old loves this doll as she got it for her birthday and enjoys putting all the creatures up to Sofia's amulet and hearing the proper voices - a very clever, well made doll (albeit a little expensive!)

My daughter wanted this talking Sofia doll for Christmas from Santa. Amazon was the only place to get one without difficulty. And the Sofia talking doll and friends was a hit, well received and loved.
