Hot Wheels have been around for years and there is a reason for that - they are cool! The cars themselves are great quality and the kit that you can get is awesome. We were treated this year to a massive spiral that automatically fires the cars around. Noisy! The 'City Downtown Fire Station' is not quite as awe inspiring as this, but in its own way is just as cool.What you notice first about the 'Fire Station' is that it is a little lonely. It stands on its own, but is clearly designed to be part of a bigger Hot Wheels set up. Thankfully, this piece of kit is compatible with Hot Wheels tracks and you can enter the Fire Station via the blue doors or sides.

This is a simple addition to the Hot Wheels range, but it fits in well even if it is a bit basic. It consists of a pimped up firetruck that sits on a platform. You place the truck on a platform, pull the roof lever vertically up and it locks the platform into place. A press of the button on the roof sends the platform spiraling down the firemans pole and when it reaches the bottom the firetruck is launched onto a connected track (not supplied). The Hot Wheels orange track can be connected to the exit point and 2 further bypass points. That is pretty much it with the exception of a (hand) rotation fire hydrant with a jet of water (plastic) which can stop a car or allow it through if opened.

A nice add-on for an existing track set-up as whilst this could be played with alone it would have limited play value due to the size however it does come with a Hot Wheels car in the design of a Fire Truck so could be played with straight away.There are four track link parts including one for vehicles to burst through the Fire Station door under the bell and another at the back which can be clicked to close. The bell is transparent and does make a bell type noise when tapped against the middle knocker part.There is a turning fire hydrant water spray which can be moved to angle cars onto the lift section when they whizz through the bell doors.

This is an add on track item, which can be added to a bigger track set up. It is compatible with the Hot Wheels track and has a flip door area, where cars can follow on straight through the station around a full track course. This set represents an American styled fire station and has a fun twirly spin out area, based around the idea of the fire station pole. There is a handle that your child can use to spin the car round and send it off on a speedy mission. It comes with a red car that whilst is not a fire truck, is representative of one in it's design elements. The flip door is also based on a fire station door.

This small playset connects with Hot Wheels Track Builder Sets – there are three places where you can connect track, so it is fairly versatile. Although it comes with no track, it does come with a vehicle.This set has a blue door, which you can shoot your car through – plus a little bell that rings. The fire truck sits on a little ramp, which spins round. If you lift the handle up, the vehicle spins round. You can pull across a barrier to keep the vehicle inside the playset.Good fun, well made and with lots of play value – although it works much better with other sets than on its own and you really need track, in order to play with it.

What's not to like? It's a HotWheels car set! Featuring a fire station complete with a hot rod firetruck . Several working parts to engage on the firestation. The firestation does not include any additional track, however extra track can be purchased separately to join this to other HotWheels sets making each of the sets extendable and so making the construction much more enjoyable and only limited by imagination (and track). This is one of the smaller sets available hence the slightly lower price. Overall well made, great Hot Wheels franchise, limitless possibilities.

This is a well made, quite sturdy, add-on set which fits into an overall Hot Wheels layout. You do not get any track or road with this set as it is purely designed as an add-on, but the recipient of this gift also uses it in conjunction with other play elements such as Lego. It has a spinner to send the included fire engine racing to the scene of a fire. As part of an overall layout, these add-on sets are well detailed and encourage imaginative play and give hours of pleasure. Also makes a nice gift at a reasonable price for any child who has a base layout.

This is a brilliant additional set to add on to a wider hot wheels setup.It comes with a red car that is designed to be reminiscent of a fire engine but still with the hot wheels sporty element to it and is more like a dragster than a fire engine.The fire station has a bell to ring and a fire hydrant with adjustable water tab that sprays onto cars.There's also a lift section which spins the car round a pole.Simple but a nice little section to add on to other sets using the multi pack additional tracks which are sold separately.

As a stand-alone piece this isn’t perhaps the most exciting item in the Hot Wheels range but as with such sets the real power comes from the fact that it can be added to a bigger set through the addition of track. One you add some track you can raise the supplied fire engine then release it which sees it spin to the track and be launched. It’s great that you get the free engine vehicle supplied although you don’t get any track supplied and you have to have that already.

Hot Wheels FRH29 City Downtown Fire Station Spinout Play Set, Multi-Colour is a good addition to the hot wheels range of toys. it is a basic addition but one which has added to the fun of the many articles we have in this range for our youngest boy, He loves his Hot Wheels and the fact we can add to his fun without costing a fortune is a great bonus.I found it to be good quality and it is one toy item I am happy to recommend.

WELL MADE, as is all Hot Wheels I have encountered over the years. And that's a lot of years since the early 70s. My picture shows how the station can be added to a circuit. That detail is of the back of the box. The Amazon pictures show exactly what you're getting. The base measures 17cm x 12cm.This is up and running in a minute or two. The station can be a stand alone toy but to get the full advantage, join it to a track.

This is not a standalone product but can be used as part of your Hot Wheels track set up - there are a number of these add on sets and this one does more than some of the others. It can be used in different ways with the track as there are four connectors and a few features such as a bell and a ramp.It needs no batteries and just clips in - hurrah ! You get one car with it but you can use other Hot Wheels cars.

A great price for an add on the Hot Wheels City set - the downtown fire station comes complete with a firecar - although its not the most interesting item we have had for our grandson - he is obsessed with fire engines so he loves it!You only get the fire station and car - no track so its no good as a stand alone toy - you do need to buy the more of the sets available - no tracks or road!

This is a good little add-on for any Hot Wheels setup that is a small fire-station complete with red car that can be fired out through a door onto your existing Hot Wheels track. It’s good fun and well-made, as is normally the case with Hot Wheels sets. It wouldn’t really work as a stand-alone item, but our son thinks it’s great when joined to his larger setup.

This is a really nice little addition to any hot wheels collection. This is not too big but its well made and if you have other hot wheels stuff it clips in nicely to the other stuff to almost build up a hot wheels town. Fire station is good quality and looks great, kids have loved playing with this as it adds to their little collection.
