I bought Tess for my granddaughter's 4th birthday. She was nicely packaged, holding her microphone and looked as if she was onstage, ready to sing. My granddaughter was thrilled with the gold minidress, which was promptly removed (why do they do that??!) and her lovely long blonde hair. There is a small button in Tess's back which, when pressed, makes her sing. Maybe not the most educational toy on the market, but it made a little girl very happy, and I would recommend this doll to any parent/grandparent/aunty of Barbie-loving little girls.
