my pumpkin cakes were very well received!I marked it down to 4 because the recipe in the included book was badly translated and I had to guess at the meaning of a couple of things, For example, it says "packet of baking powder" I've never seen a packet of baking powder and therefore have no idea what the quantity would be. I've only ever bought it in containers. So I guessed at roughly 2 teaspoons.I had also hoped to make a cake that was shaped like the mould but - maybe through some fault of my own - it didn't rise to fill the whole mould and I was left with a cake that was a little more than half the expected size.

This mould is so easy to use and produces the most amazing cakes. I tried it out initially with a chocolate cake recipe, making sure I used a good cake release produce and the cake unmoulded successfully. I filled the centre cavity with fruit and drizzled white chocolate over it. I have since used it to produce cakes as recommended in the enclosed recipe using pumpkin puree and the results have always been successful. I had never produced 3D cakes before this one.

This was bought to do a Halloween cake theme for our grandson and after reading the recent reviews we were unsure of what to expect.Will we tried it today making a Madeira cake base, filling the mould to the level indicator on the side and placed in the oven to cook, expecting the worse!Well we have to say it went fabulous, cooking the cake to perfection, then after cooling it was easily removed from the mould and the results were simply excellent, well pleased.

Good quality silicone mould. Good fun for kids and adults alike for Halloween or just to celebrate autumn, no need to be a full blown artist for lots of effect with little work (apart from making the cake and adding a little deco). I also use the mould for home made brioches and steamed puddings. Somewhat expensive for what remains on the gadget side but look out for discounts on the web !

After reading a few negative reviews - they followed the booklet with a recipe, not enough ingredients! Just take my advice, please ignoring the booklet and making your own recipe. I made my own recipe with double ingredients and made some cupcakes too. Prefect! Put some decorations on the top later. Hope this helps. 3D Halloween mould is very good quality. Thank you. So awesome!

This mould produces excellent cakes which have a great shape and hold their form. If you need pumpkin shaped cakes you need this mould. Only slight criticism is that it is smaller than expected, but not too small.
