I remember my younger brother playing with a toy like this back in the mid-eighties.A "Grass Gobbler" I think it was called. It used to throw faux grass around in the plastic dome on top of the mower; little bits of green plastic-grass being thrown everywhere with each push. This toy is much better than that except that the green hundreds-and-thousands inside the dome have been replaced with coloured balls. It's still great fun every time it's pushed though. And it's a pretend-petrol mower too. A little petrol canister comes with it and my son loves to fill up the tank and then pull the starter cord. It makes a great noise. There's a switch and a key on the handle which both make great noises when moved. My son enjoys pushing it around the living room and outside, pretending to cut the lawn as he goes.He loves it so much that he waves goodbye to it when he goes to bed! It's definitely his favourite toy.Assembly was very easy. And it needs to be.When there's a over-eager two year-old boy wanting to get his hands on his toy mower, assembly needs to be fast and easy!A great product. Good value too when compared with the lacklustre alternatives in high-street shops.

I purchased this for my son for Christmas 2016 and he absolutely loved it. It was very easy to assemble, comes with a nice little petrol can, a pull cord to start the imaginary engine, an ignition switch and throttle. It also makes a nice little popping sound when pushed. My son is 16 months old but hadn’t started walking unaided yet so I wanted to get him something that could support him while he walked. Traditional free standing walkers were quite expensive so I jumped at this mower for the price! I know this isn’t designed to be a walker but my little boy started walking on his own two days after using this mower around the house! The only negative is that it’s quite lightweight. So it doesn’t provide much support if your baby puts all of his body weight on it, but since he was older he was able to adjust his balance quite easily to compensate. Perhaps younger baby’s might struggle a little since the recommended age for this product is from 6 months so I took away 1 star. Other than that, it worked wonders for my son and now he’s walking around the house on his own like crazy thanks to this mower building his confidence !! Great buy, great Price.

I was after a toy lawnmower after our 18 month old started following my husband up and down the lawn when he was cutting the grass! I looked at cheaper ones but you definitely get what you pay for with this one. I bought a cheaper one at first, which dropped to bits!! This is on the pricey side but you can't go wrong with Little Tikes. Really great sturdy quality, the little beads 'pop' as you walk along with it to imitate the grass being cut. Theres a little petrol can so they can pretend to fill it up and a realistic on/off/push handle. Our son loves it and its been sat outside all summer without any fading and I'm sure it will last him a few years. The only downside is the nightmare packaging!Held in by god knows how many tie wraps, make sure you get it out of the box and assemble it prior to your child wanting to play with it! Still give it 5 stars though

When our 18 mth yr old was fighting our 3 yr old for her pink dolls buggy, I thought it was time for him to get his own walker. He loves it!He uses it in the park and although it rolls pretty well on grass and concrete is light weight but stable that it doesn't tip over easily.Although it's not a walker, for us, it is just as practical and serves the job. We've had quite a few other parents asking about where they can get one, or commenting how cute he looks pushing it along. No more giggles with the pink buggy! For more sounds, the handle bar has a click knob and a ticker slider to keep him occupied along with the plastic can and tank cap and roller sound as you push it.This should get a lot of wear - our 3 year is now fighting him for it!it'll be a well loved toy over the next couple of years.

This is another quality product by little tikes. You're little one can twist/turn the key, move the power lever up/down, pull the cord and make a real engine start-up sound, watch the little coloured balls pop as they push it. Twist the fuel cap to re-fuel...Since walking at 12 months my little boy has played with this non-stop. He is now over 18 months and this remains a firm favourite. He uses it to 'cut the grass' alongside his dad, which is adorable. It also comes inside and he pushes it all around the house. He loves the little fuel can and uses it to 're-fuel' his cozy coupe as well as the lawn mower. This is worth buying, we even bought one as a gift for our nephew.I find little tikes hard to beat!

Bought this for my friend's 2 year old and they hated me for buying this as it's quite loud and so disturbed their peaceful birthday BBQ but the little fella LOVES it!! He plays with it non-stop and loves being just like his dad cutting the grass. He occasionally brings it indoors and "hoovers" the house with it too!! I'll be buying this for my wee man when he's old enough. Great toy and it's stood up to the mis-treatment from my friend's 2 year old so far so it must be right flippin' strong as he's pretty heavy handed with a bit of a crash-bash attitude. On a side note, my friends got over it when they realised they could easily get me back in future with a drum kit or something similar ;)

Paid extra for fast delivery & I was able to track & have text of arrival time - brill.Mower is perfect for imitation play. The petrol can is a lovely touch & no batteries needed either. It does make a lot of noise but then what small child does not like to make a racket! It has a stopper to stop it tipping easily for those learning to walk. We have a bubble machine mower to (yes grandma spolis grandson) but he likes this one better & being Little Tikes it is really durable. These are sold out most places at the moment, but I was happy to pay extra to get one. Am taking it camping as he will have lots of grass to cut.Would recommend as you get what you pay for.

My son (almost two) absolutely loves this! He is pretty rough with it both inside the house and outside but it has not broken or cracked. He had it for the whole summer and it was his favourite outdoor toy. It is now a favourite indoor toy! He loves mowing the carpet and floor! The petrol can doesn't stay in though but he never really paid it any attention anyway. He loves to pull the starter string which makes a great noise and, again, he's pretty strong and vigorous with it but it has shown no signs of breaking. It's really well made and definitely much more robust than others out there. It's a great size too - perfect for a toddler.

My Grandson absolutely loved this mower the sounds it makes, the petrol tank and the moving parts. He has had it for three years and used it most days poor Granddad has to mow the more than needs be with the Grandson leading the way so it looks as though he has cut the grass. Now we have a Granddaughter so of course she will have her own mower. She is only 4 months old at the moment but it was such a good price I had to buy it now. The petrol cap now has a movable lid which my Grandson picked up on right away as he had to test drive the new one but now it has been put away until the Granddaughter can walk.

It Arrived quickly and was easy to assemble. My 2 year old son had asked for a lawn mower so was over the moon when he unwrapped this. It was his favourite Xmas toy and he will still play with it for ages. He loves the using the little petrol can, then pulling the start Cord and pretending to mow the garden. It has lots of nice features, is easy to push and is a good size (it will definitely last a few years) it is also sturdy enough to take a few knocks and also withstand use by my older children. It’s a great buy for any child who wants to pretend to mow, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again.

Bought this for our son's 2nd birthday and it's a hit. He was a bit unsure of the noise when you pull the cord at first, but has got past that. Our carpet has been mown on and off all day. Must use a lot of petrol though as he refills it very often :). Easy to clip together but our son won't be able to unclip it as the handle slots in securely. Well made, and very reasonable for the price, I've seen a lot of flimsy mowers where the handle would come off. He's been after a mower for a while and I'm glad we choose this one, relying on the little tikes brand to produce a good product.

I bought this little mower for my 16 months old grandson who absolutely loves it; I regret not having bought it much earlier for him; he loves to go & 'mow the lawn' with his parents but also spends ages pushing it up and down outside or even indoors whenever he can. Excellent value for money, bring loads of fun and pleasure and huge grins; he likes the noise the little beads make and enjoys pulling on the cord like his daddy does with the big mower...and his little brother can't wait to get his hands on it! I would definitely buy another one.

Bought for my son's first birthday and he showed interest in this from day 1.It has a little red petrol can so you can pretend to put petrol in the mower. There is a cord to pull and let go off to pretend to start it and when it moves the balls in the front bounce around.Would recommend for walkers up to 4/5 year olds. Even my baby who is only crawling likes pulling the cord and chewing the petrol can!Have had over a year and it's been left in garden unprotected and still looks brightly coloured and in great condition.

I purchased this lawn mower for my 2 year old nephews birthday, it was a hit from the very start! I had already removed from the packaging before giving it to him, and was glad that I had, lots of plastic ties held it to the box. Once out the packaging it I was simple to assemble, and sturdy. It is the perfect size a2yo, and has had constant useIt makes noises (balls pop as it runs along, & the dials click, a 'starter motor' that makes a zip noise) but nothing too offensive or loud.Great toy!

My two and a quarter year old LOVES pushing things around and I was looking for a new garden toy for him. This looked in the pictures sturdier than some other options and it certainly is very sturdy. Lots of nice features such as the petrol can and knobs and buttons to twist and press. He loves it so much it lives inside the house now, has enough ground clearance not to pick up too much mud and grass etc being pushed round the garden so it was just a quick wipe of the wheels. Recommended.
