My son is obsessed with our big Hetty cleaner so we were delighted when we found out about this toy version. We purchased it for Christmas and he played with it for +6 hours on Christmas day and he has barely spent more than an hour away from it. It looks genuine and is substantial enough. The concept of the plug and retractable cord is fantastic.Negative points?The power switch rattles and makes half the noise when it is running. It would be better if the fake switches on the top actually moved rather than being fixed mouldings.The tube is too flimsy and doesn't rotate easily enough so it gets tangled (he doesn't like that) and I suspect it will be the first thing to fail.It doesn't seem to has much suction,

Bought for my son's 3rd birthday as he has an obsession with our real Henry hoover. He absolutely loves this mini Hetty (who is now Henry's friend). It takes up much less room than Henry did and is much easier for him to use! Some reviews have said that the quality is bad but I don't agree, it has stood up to some heavy use over the last couple of weeks with nothing broken yet although obviously it's not the same quality as the life size version. All the bits fit under the lid, along with a little dustpan and brush and the added bonus is that it picks up small bits of debris, so my son can put his hours of vacuuming to some use!

my little boy sure doesthis was bought as a 2nd birthday present for my son off nanny...we thought it would be perfect for him beign as he loves my hetty hoover and we were right he loves it! ive gotta say i fell in love with the little fella too i couldnt get over how much like the real thing it actually was but on the small size but that just makes it unberlivably cute! i do have a few niggles with it thou thats why it loses a star:it dosnt pick up althou it states it does!the floor piece scratches wooden floor *oops*the buttons dont work (it really wouldnt have be difficult to have them as the one off switch like the real thing)and it was abit over pricedother than that itis a really cute

I bought this for my 2yr old who is obsessed with it. He loves 'cleaning' so has other role play items , brooms etc. He has seen a number of real Henry hoovers around nursery and his brother's school and has been drawn to them like a magnet . He wanted a pink one so Hettie is perfect. He loves her beyond words. The attach,rents are easy for him to use, there is a working vacuum which dies collect spots if dust and a container that you can empty. He is do besotted with his Hetty she regularly goes with him to the grAndparents. I generally detest plastic noisy toys but I think this is a great product. Easy to store, not too noisy at all and easy to clean . He is careful with toys but has used her as a go kart too - very sturdy toy.

This a great toy!I was under no illusion that my son would be able to hoover the house from top to bottom with his new Henry Hoover, but it really looks the part and the realistic noises make him feel like he is helping which is great. When he got it for his birthday, he set it beside my big Henry and it is an exact replica. He was thrilled and every time i get my hoover out he wants his hoover out too. My husband didn't think a hoover for a boy would be suitable, and that it was a girls toy but I could not disagree more. Of course girls would love this toy too but I would say it is a toy for all children of both sexes to play with.All in all this is a great toy and if you have any 'Mummys little helpers'

My daughter absolutely loves this, the pull out wire and "plug" suction cup makes it seem more realistic, although the length of the cord is quite short, I assume for safety reasons. I was under the impression that it was supposed to have a degree of suction when switched on, however the one I received doesn't have any suction at all, I actually prefer that it doesn't as it means that it isn't constantly filled with dust. The sound is fairly realistic and the product is extremely sturdy, and the fact that the accessories stre away inside the unit is a nice touch. Far better quality than other brands I have previously purchased. Over all good quality for money, I would definitely recommend

Bought for my 2 year old who is fascinated with hoovers right now. Hetty arrived promptly and well packaged. It really is a great replica of the actual machine. Once all the pieces are out, they are very easy to assemble and get going.Having had Hetty for two months now, I can add a few things about the build quality. Firstly, the ease with which the hose and hoover pipe pieces attach together is great but also an issue, as over time the parts wear. This means that the hose and the pipes are becoming loose and not holding well, especially with toddler use. I’ve used superglue to reinforce the plastic connectors which began to come off.Son still loves this and it’s still going strong!

My 3 year old son loves hoovers and I bought the Henry hoover with his birthday money. If I had seen it before he saw I would have taken it back because it was smaller than I thought it would be and the flexi pipe could do with a twist connector to the hoover because it keeps getting twisted and will eventually break or crack.My son has had hours of fun with this and has taken it everywhere with him, he loves it. He plays with it everyday. All the connections fit inside the hoover and it does pick up the odd dirt,Overall a little pricey but if my sons happy im happy!!!

This little hoover looks exactly like the real thing. It is also the perfect size for little hands and not to big to store at home.This product is made from rigid plastic which makes it quite tough and not easily breakable.The best features of this toy apart from how it looks are:Well made, the pipes fit together easily And all can be stored inside Henry's body. The hoover actually picks up quite well, (my child loves emptying it).However stock up on C size batteries as they do not last long when your little one loves him and cannot put him away (or turn him off).

My 2 year old loves this, I have the real thing so she thinks it's great to get hers out when I do the cleaning. She loves loves the fact that it does suck little bits up and enjoys emptying they out. Only issue I have come across so far is the hose broke away from the main body, but with some superglue this has been sorted. It was due to the fact that she pulled it once the plug had been suckered on to something. She now uses it without the plug attached to anything and it means she can pull it around more freely as the plug cord is very short.

it is a good buy as my little boy loves the hoover so i can't wait to see his face when he gets this. the pipe and tools look a bit flimsy but the hoover itself is solid, and it actually works and picks up. but it was a good buy for the money and it will keep my son good so i'm happy. its good practice for them to help when you are cleaning up as it teaches them, so i'm in favour of that, a great learning product, not a bad price, so i think it will turn out to be a great purchase. it will teach him to clean up after himself.

Bought for a friends little girl (20months).She loved it. Its a carbon copy of the larger hoover (or daddy hoover as she calls it- this gave us insight in to who does the cleaning ;o) ).It sucks up small light things but it is has a low drone hoover noise - perhaps we should of see if she liked it first, with out the noise. My friend says the noise is not so bad though as all childrens toys are noisy so parents get used to it.No small parts and she could even carry it her self around the living room.thumbs up!

Made one 2 and a half year old very happy! Plug comes with a suction cup if you wish to stick it to the wall just like a real hoover, turn it on and it sounds like a real hoover (although not as loud!) and will even pick up light bits of dirt/dust! Even has a removable drawer to empty the dirt sucked up! Lift up the lid and stored away is a small dust pan and brush! Would advise to purchase the batteries with this as I didnt and couldnt find them in any other shops so had to go back to argos to get them!

The product looked great when it was first initially built, little one loves it because she is Hetty Hoover obsessed. Would've given it more stars however parts of the nozzle and hose just fall out of place and apart, quite poorly designed for a kids toy. The main base of Hetty itself is built quite robust which I'm pleased about as its been picked up and dropped over 1000 times and not a single scratch. Just a shame the hose comes apart from its notches in place as shes tugging it along behind.

I bought this for my god son who is 2 and loves to help around the house. This Henry hoover is the right size and weight for a toddler to pull around and hoover, and from a nursery practitioners point of view this is very good for imaginative role play, fine and gross motor movements, and also technology as theres switches, sounds and other bits and pieces to engage their thinking on how to turn it on and pull out or wind the cord back in etc. Will be buying the matching cleaning set for xmas.
