Despite the 'much publicide possible error in the contents of remake of "Casino Royale" (Daniel please do not "slash" your "Wrists". You were born to lead and continue the ressurrection of the James Bond series, the demise of Dame Judi Dench remains a bone contention), concerning the ingredients of the "Vesper" martini/coctail included "a splash of Keanu Lillet" {apologies for spelling} I think that this 'Vermouth' is definitely the way to go, not just with the "Vesper" but any coctail which includes 'Vermouth' - Buy yourselves a real treat "Vesper" or not. After trying this there will never be anything else for me. Epensive, maybe, but,

Okay (snigger) it has the same name as a lady's product, but we discovered this when watching Daniel Craig in Casino Royale when he orders and later names his Vesper Martini. If memory serves he asks for three parts Gordons gin and a half a measure of this. Strong stuff! Try the Reverse Vesper with more Lillet than Gin. Much nice, shaken not stirred!We've tried all the Liletts, white, rose and red and settled on the white as the preferred choice, but it's worth trying all three yourself to get the right one. Basically a good quality Vermouth and makes a good martini, gin or vodka or a good general mixer for any drink you care to put together.Best served chilled, and can be sipped on it's own.

I got drunk while my parents were away one weekend and when I woke up in the morning I had two boys in my bed and a bottle of this next to me. Couldn’t find it online anywhere easy other that here. My parents bought back a bottle from France with them and didn’t know how to explain to them that I had drunk it all when I defo don’t remember drinking it at all. Well I got this delivered next day and then didn’t know anything. Thankyou Amazon. Life saver. Ps not sure what it tastes like but my parents love it.

Love this Lillet white wine liqueur.Great value here on amazon currently at £12.75......it was selling for £15 in the high st....if you could find it!!!And...free postage :)Must be served very chilled....if you find it a tad "syrupy" then put 3 parts with 1 part chilled water.Becareful though, it's not regular wine, it's 17% ! and you may not notice at first lol.Some people serve it with soda water and a thin slice of orange but I prefer it just as it is.

I'm fairly new to vermouths, I've tried a couple of bad ones, a few okay ones, and one or two good ones.This is the first 'great' vermouth that I've had.First vermouth I'd drink neat, and one that'll become a regular resident of my drinks cabinet.I think it works well for martini's and manhattans, but I'll be trying Lillet rouge out with bourbon sometime to see if it's an even better fit.

I love this stuff, but it is an aperitif first and foremost. Drink it chilled, over ice, or with lemonade/soda. Others have commented that it is good for martinis, especially a Vesper. Always a matter of taste, but you are better off using Cocchi Americano if that is what you are buying this for.

'Lee Lay' (Lillet Blanc 75 cl) is a sweet french vermouth, absent from most supermarket shelves, so good to see it on Amazon's list at a reasonable price. Just chill and serve with slices of orange or lemon and ice. Experiment with mixers. A great aperitif and end of day relaxer. So continental!

Bought to make cocktails as we had a cocktail evening. The product took quite a long time to arrive but came in time in the end, very well packaged was a bit worried as had not purchased bottles on line before but would do so again. Tastes a bit like Martini, great for james bond cocktails

bought this wine after seeing a Rick Stein programme on which he said it was excellent, and it is. Now the safety advice, this is a very strong wine 17% ABV two glasses and the urge to go to sleep is overwhelming but a shot of it in say a Prosecco is wonderful, drink and enjoy .

I'd never heard of this until I decided to make a Vespa martini... Which incidentally taste great. You don't use a lot of it for the martini, which is probably why you would purchase this. However, it's probably a good reason to make lots of them! Tastes great...

This is the one to make a vesper martini, the famous tipple of James Bond, shaken not stirred. , if you have not tried one, you must!Careful though, six shots of shorts and no mixers. Rocket fuel. Not sure how he was a super spy, after two I was a super mess !

In the James Bond film Daniel Craig orders a variation on his Vodka Martini cocktail. He orders a drink a call’s it a Vesper. One of the ingredients is this white Vermouth ... It makes for the perfect Vesper ... just don’t forget the lemon peel :)

this was an excellent purchase. i ordered two bottles of a well-known liqueur as a surprise for my mother's birthday. it arrived in the afternoon on the day and worked out perfectly. very reasonably priced for both product and delivery.

Bought this in order to make Vesper or two but reverted to my version of a Vodka Martini 2 x vermouth/Lillet + 2 x Vodka "shaken not stirred :-) Bloody strong , but nice.... I won't be buying Cinzano again; Lillet is much better.

First drunk this as an ice-cold aperitif on the banks of the Dordogne in the summer of 1997 and have never found a better equivalent. Fabulous product that I’m so grateful to be able to get delivered to my door at a great price.
