'DOTS' is something new from Lego, with the emphasis on simple, creative, expressive items; and most important of all 'fun'!There's a number of different packs in the range, but I received the 'Rainbow' pack, which give you a rubberised bracelet / strap and a good selection of printed (not stickers) 1x1 ('dot') tiles, to craft your design. It's fun, easy to do (age range is appropriate, given the size of the small blocks / tiles), but more importantly, it's engaging, interesting and, like all Lego, it can be torn down and re-styled, with ease.Bracelet size offers a range of adjustment for 'young' wrists (you'll need to have thin wrists as an adult, to get away with this one); and you may need to offer a helping hand to get the bracelet /strap to hold in place, but other than that, it's a nice, simple and eye-catching idea, that offers something a little bit different to the range. Some will argue that it's not great value for money, but seeing the ideas, enthusiasm and creativity getting sparked, it seems worth it. I'm just hoping that they'll offer more / different sets, so that this can be expanded upon.

LEGO used to just be a load of blocks, but they have managed to diversify more than almost any other IP from movies to theme parks. They are now taking on the jewellery industry in the form of 'LEGO 41902 DOTS Sparkly Unicorn Bracelet’. Like the watches you can get that are LEGO themed, there are more to these than just static accessories. The bracelet comes as a plain strip. The decorations come in the form little pieces, either square or quarter circle. You can place these as you wish onto the strap. As this is a Unicorn themed set, some of the pieces have sparkles or little Unicorns on them. Once you have your bracelet set up, it does look effective. The pieces themselves click in and stay put, which is great as a feared that they may fall of.The idea of this bracelet is a little fleeting, but it will appeal to a craft minded child. You are also able to rework it repeatedly. For that reason, it offers a decent value product for both LEGO fans, but also just a child who likes craft and costume jewellery.

This is such a great idea and a really cool little set! My daughter loves Lego anyway and loves the ides of Lego you can actually wear. This set is called 'Sparkly Unicorn' and comes with a purple rubber wristband, like a watch strap with holes for different sizes which correspond with the little raised dot that pushes through the whole to secure it, it's flexible, stays fixed and works on a variety of wrist sizes you then affix the included pieces of all different designs (including little unicorn pieces) and they can make any design, they pull of easily and everyday they can change up the design and there's also different sets available to mix it up a bit.I think these will really catch on.2 of my daughters friends have already got these apparently now as well with the other children very curious about them!! Great fun, my daughter loves it and feels proud that she's created it. It's like arts and crafts without the mess and less fiddly than beads etc - recommended!

This gets those creative juices flowing. I have a huge fondness for Lego and the problem solving and patience it teaches children. These little bands allow you to have an introduction to Lego, specifically, Lego Dots which is a really fun subset of Lego for creating little pieces of jewellery, frames, pots etc. My favorite piece about the Lego Dots range is they are completely neutral! Not a boy/girl thing, and I think this is important for something like Lego. As the skills and creativity that Lego can help teach are completely neutral.Highly recommend this for an introduction to Lego for your children. It allows them to be very creative and show off their creations to their friends and family.Super quick and easy to use :)

A revolutionary idea by Lego creators to use a Lego-backed silicon bracelet for young children (and old!) to create their own bracelet designs. Being able recreate their little designs limitless times, with many extra pieces than what would be required to fill every spot on the bracelet. The one thing which is a let down for the price is that Lego should have included a little 'trinket' to keep all the spare tiny pieces, as each piece is slightly bigger than a single Lego stud and easily lost.Perhaps even a trinket that would fit like a 'charm' directly onto the bracelet so the kids can change their design On-the-Go!Nice comfortable fit that fits a child from age 3 to adult. My kids love them!4 stars

Is there anything Lego don't do? Watches, clocks and now bracelets! This is a nicely medium priced item that contains one dark pink bracelet with 32 different shaped tiles to decorate. We chose the Sparkly Unicorn ones, as our girl is unicorn and Lego crazy.Once my daughter figured out she could do nice patterns there was no stopping her (see pics), and you have tiles to spare. I did think the tiles would fall off easier than they did, so that was a bonus that they didn't.This is a nice item that is reasonably priced, so with that I'd recommend as a treat for any kid.Did I read series one? Five in each series, so that's £25 for the set...eeeek.

Another great idea from Lego, this time aimed at kids who use the pieces to make artwork or other creative endeavours away from the usual motor vehicles or towers. Using the flat small pieces kids can make bracelets, patterns and pictures, which is great for getting them to think about new and varied ways to use their bricks.A really popular kit with my kids and it inspired them to use their existing small flat pieces to do similar designs on their buildings, towers and vehicles, which I've found is a brilliant bonus from these kits. They're not just fun on their own, but they inspire their free creations too.

My 6 year old was delighted to get decorating her bracelet. It’s a fairly quick and straightforward activity that will keep your little one occupied for 15 minutes. You can follow a pattern or freestyle to create your own colourful creation. There’s an adjustable strap and the pieces can be reused so new designs can be created.Since the initial excitement, the bracelet does seem to be a little forgotten so this is perhaps a one hit wonder in our house. However in these lockdown days it’s the perfect craft toy to keep young ones entertained and creative.

An innovative new addition to the LEGO range primarily aimed at young girls.Traditionally LEGO used to appeal to boys more than girls, but over the past 10 years their range has exploded to include so many new themes and characters. My grand daughters particularly love the lego friends range and this new addition of make your own jewellery will definitely appeal to them. I suspect they will need multiple sets to truly mix and match and that is achievable as they cost about £5 a set.As always a quality toy from a trusted toy brand.

This makes an ideal gift for children's birthday parties (ages 6+).You get a purple wristband and can fit the little coloured tiles to it Lego-style to make different patterns and effects. There are a lot of little fiddly pieces, so it's not ideal for little ones, and in our house it is likely that most of the decorative pieces will disappear quite quickly, but you can buy packs of additional pieces to supplement/replace.Great for kids who want to craft jewellery, with parents who don't want paint and glue all over the place!

I have always been a LEGO fan, and have seen them go from near bankruptcy to being hugely successful and profitable! This was mainly due to them being able to reinvent themselves, previously by adding movie licences to their sets. This range like many of their others now is their own brand, but taken in a new direction. The idea is quite basic, but the price is kept very reasonable. I like this set, mainly because of its fun for younger kids 6+, but also because its a cool new way to use Lego pieces and I LOVE LEGO :)

glad to see lego finally coming up with something more girlie and something you can wear, my daughter really enjoys this range of lego. Even though she is 3, she enjoys lego and plays with it with her two older brothers. She has both the bracelet and jewellery stand as part of the DOTS range and is so happy with them. The bits are very small and fiddly but then it kept her entertained for a while and it is still compatible with your standard lego bricks so the possibilities are endless.

My kids were fighting over this! My three-year-old daughter won the tussal and started decorating the bracelet with no instructions needed. It was a good opportunity to go over the shapes and colours with her. My 6-year-old son took over and quickly realised he could add lego blocks from his collection. We ended up making a watchface, a secret agent transponder and a small house. Like all Lego products, it's well-built and made for kids to enjoy using their imagination.

This is a great little present! Really fun to play with, comes complete with an adjustable strap so will literally fit any childs wrist no matter how big or small. The pack comes with plenty of little bits of bobs to stick all around the bracelet. Its basically a flexible lego board with single blocks to place and stack on top of each other! I would say its worth the money, but probably only a toy which will be complete for one day then bits will get lost very quick!

My 2 girls loved them. I was worried they may not go down too well, especially with my 14 year old. But I figured, if its something I would quite like to have a go at as an adult, I'm sure my teenager would enjoy it. And she did! They sat together and designed their own bracelets using the extra pack of dots I'd bought and had a great time. And I tried the bracelet on myself and it felt very nice quality. A great product. Can't wait to see more designs.
