Beautiful dolls!Yes they are a little bit predictable (white family, pink dress etc etc), but other than that they are fabulous.The dolls are nicely presented in a decorated cardboard box, and are held in place at their feet (if you are careful they can be taken out and checked for suitability without damaging anything).They are very sweet with big smiles (I like their dinky little noses), and are nicely dressed. I like that they stand up on their own, they have chunky wooden feet. The little girl has pink striped legs/leggings under her skirt which is a nice touch.The adults are approx. 13cm tall, the children are 11cm.The suggested age range of 3+ seems about right - the hair is glued on,

(Le Toy Vans packaging are so good I never want to throw out the boxes).They make a great addition to the Daisy-lane dolls house and will test the limits of your child’s imagination.

Although these can of course be played with separately or with any doll house set, this pack of four very posableLe Toy Van dolls have been made and scaled to perfectly fit the Le Toy Van doll house and matching accessories including all the furniture and pet packs etc along with the various vehicles and and other buildings available (the mum and dad are around 13cm tall and the kids around 11cm). They have very well made little clothes and each has a detailed face with a mop of wool hair on top. The family have some questionable genetics given that dad has jet black hair, mum has red hair, the son has straw/sandy hair and the daughter has bright blonde hair.

Although I feel that they are a little expensive for what they are I am very pleased with the family in general. I was afraid cheaper dolls might not be the right scale for the LTV Bay Tree Doll house we purchased at the same time... My daughter has only just turned two and is able to make the dolls stand and sit all on her own. If the legs are bent properly over the chairs the dolls do fit nicely with their legs under the table of the LTV Deuxe starter furniture set. The little girl doll is a bit too big to fit easily onto the LTV Deluxe starter furniture set's bunk bed but other than that there are no complaints as yet.

These are generally nicely made wooden people - a family consisting of adult female, adult male, male child, female child. The people have nicely finished wooden faces and arms. The light-coloured rubberwood is unpainted, and on the set I received there is a bit of a ring or knot in the wood that lands slightly unfortunately around the Dad's painted eye - giving something of the effect of a shiner.The people have yarn hair, and their outfits are quite detailed, though also quite traditional - the women with floor length skirts. They have painted wooden feet resembling shoes, and these are large and solid enough to enable the people to stand independently (when carefully balanced); whilst their limbs are wired,

These dolls are just beautiful. They remind me of the toys I had when I was young. I look for toys that are more eco-friendly and not made of plastic and packed in ridiculous amounts of packing which is often not recyclable.There are four dolls in the cardboard pack which hs a plastic window so you can see the dolls so very little non-recyclable plastic. The dolls are Mum, Dad, son, and daughter so two slightly bigger than the other two.They have bendable limbs and wool hair with cute outfits and re a perfect size for a doll's house that uses standard doll's house furniture.I plan to give them to my niece's daughter on her birthday as she is just the perfect age (two to three)

I was astonished, when I started looking for dolls for my grand-daughter's new doll's house, that almost all are marked as 'not suitable for under 12' or 'collector's item only'. How ridiculous! We all had dolls houses (well, the girls anyway) when we were young and there was not this level of nanny nonsense. So I was really pleased when I finally found this set which was actually meant for children to play with. I would recommend checking them quite often to make sure bits of it are still secure, like the hair, but I am pretty sure they will be fine.

These dolls are pretty expensive for what they are (nearly £25 at time of writing) however, they are very strong and durable and will last being passed on to other children. These are made to go with the le toy van dolls house but I guess they would fit with pretty much most dolls houses. Dolls house items are generally expensive, and most aren’t suitable for child’s play (ie display only) so it’s nice that you can get hold of decent hardwearing child’s dolls house toys.There are 4 dolls and all have nice features and cute clothes.

These are a classic dolls house family, aimed at children aged 3+. They look quite retro and are sturdy and durable enough to play with. You have daddy, mummy, a boy and a girl. The dolls can sit and have limited movement – arms and legs can move. The large shoes allow the dolls to stand and they can also sit.My niece has the Le Toy Van dolls house and these fit perfectly and are made with the environment in mind (replenishable wood and simple packaged in a box which urges you to recycle it).

This is a set of wooden dolls in fabric clothing. The dolls can be posed. The dolls are very well made and I was especially impressed with the quality of the clothing. These dolls fit in the dolls houses that this company sells. I think these dolls are rather ugly but if you are into old-fashioned folksy dolls these are perfect. I do think they are overpriced but I assume these dolls will be bought by people who are already into this range.

My granddaughter absolutely loves these, they fitted into her doll’s house perfectly, and they seem to be robust enough to be played with. They have slightly flexible legs and big shoes which means that they can be made to stand, and they can also sit. Their hair is firmly attached and their clothes, which aren’t removable, are reasonably well made; their faces, which are all the same, are well painted and appear durable. Overall a big hit.

I gave these to my granddaughter to play with but she has actually used them to sit on her bedroom windowsill as a decoration - and she loves them for that, but she hasn't really engaged in any pretend play as such with them. They have bendy legs but are a bit difficult to position. They remind me rather of 'The Woodentops' family and will be a hit with adults looking to buy retro toys for children and grandchildren.

What I liked about these dolls was the traditional look and feel of them. They reminded me of toys that were about when I was a kid. They are hand finished which is nice. The clothes also are made of materials like scraps of felt and fabric which adds to them. Definitely not suitable for under the recommended age of 3. They are a bit pricey but I should imagine that comes with them being hand finished.

These Le Toy Van My Family Dolls are good for children to play, especially as they are a complete family. They’re solid and easy to play with and stand up straight by themselves. They do bend and sit down, but it did take a little bit of effort and my little girls couldn’t do it by themselves. It did require some of my help. But that also shows how sturdy they are.

Le Toy Van is a company that I really like. Their well built toys are a great addition to my Reception classroom. I particularly like the fact they're made of wood, making them much more tactile. These dolls have moving arms and legs and go well with dolls houses etc. It'd be nice to see a bit more of a mixture of skin colours, but I still give these five stars.
