Lamy pens aren't necessarily showy or pretty, but they're very well put together, last ages, and are nice practical objects. This model is nicely ergonomic, has a quality feel (like it would be very hard to break), and looks good.Only slight criticism is that the M16 refills it uses can sometimes be a little scratchy. For some reason the blue ones seem to be smoother than the black.

Some simple, every day, inexpensive things in life not only fulfill their basic function, but are a pleasure to use and to own.So it is wiith the Lamy Vista M16 ball-point pen. It does its basic job as a writing tool, but also looks professional, without being OTT, and feels great to handle and in use.Recommended.However, why Amazon should class pens as "toys" baffles me....

I’ve had this pen for nearly ten years and the only ailment it’s had is losing the spongy cap to the top. Still works perfectly. Variable nib thicknesses available to buy to suit you. It never blobs or blotches when I’m writing.

Have used this brand/make of pen for years. Everyone thinks it's more expensive than it is, which means they comment on how great it is to write with, but are too afraid to nick it.
