This pen looks really smart, writes beautifully and is great value - the perfect pen. It is slim and elegant, feels firm and well made, and being steel should retain its good looks.I already have a couple of more expensive Lamy pens and love them, so when the time came for my 12-year-old to get a 'proper pen', as opposed to the basic plastic jobs he'd always had, I bought him this, the idea being that he would love it and take care of it. We are all left-handed in my family, which can be a problem with pens, but this one writes perfectly straight away, with none of the scratching that you can often get as a left-hander. The pen is much slimmer than my other pens - and slimmer than a standard pen - which is great for a woman or child,

I couldn't be more pleased that I chose this fountain pen. I find it both beautiful and practical. It seems to be very robust, writes nicely, and I personally love its petite dimensions and minimalist aesthetic. The balance of price and quality is such that it always feels very smart, but I'm not terrified of losing it. 5 stars!

A good pen, great price. NIb could be a little better but it writes well, good flow of ink. Feels good to write with. Looks good, feels well-balanced. Sturdy. I like it.
