I like Lamy design, and this is a nice example. It's a simple, elegant, all metal pen with a nice mechanism which recesses the clip into the body when the nib is protruded, which is neat and also keeps you from putting it in your pocket with the nib out!Some Lamys can have disappointing writing qualities, but the M66 refill here has a quality rollerball and produces a strong, thick line. The pen is chunky and reassuringly weighty, but not so that it is uncomfortable to use. Finish is a mix of brushed black and shiny metal, with a small Lamy logo by the clip. It's very nice looking.All round, one of the nicer pens I have owned.

Lamy pens are quality writing instruments, innovatively designed and attention-grabbing. The Swift is just such a rollerball. In fact this has become my go-to writer. The cleverly designed clip stops me from popping the open pen into my shirt pocket. The only snag I had was with the supplier providing the rollerball with a blue refill in a broad nib! Lamy nibs are always a bit on the wider side and the broad is overly so. I reckon that at these prices we should be given a choice of ink and nib size not be subjected to pot luck. After protest Amazon did provide me with a useable refill rather than the paintbrush broad nib. I've learned my lesson.

I have had one of these pens for a few months now and it is one of the most comfortable pens to write with that I have owned.I do prefer a slightly finer point, but the feel of the pen in the hand, the positive action of the retractor, and I have to say the fact the pocket clip moves flush with the body of the pen when it is ready to write, so the point has to be retracted before it can be clipped in your pocket is a nice touch.Stylish and well designedGood balanceComfortable to useGood steady ink flowRecommended.

Pen arrived on time and I was happy with this. The primary reason I bought from this supplier was their price - much lower than elsewhere.Some of the correspondence that came with the pen was in German but I wasn't concerned. One minor criticism was that the packaging was a bit bashed but this was probably nothing to do with the supplier.I also used this supplier for the ink refills as they were cheap. They were great on this too.I would use them again.

My dad gave me a Lamy (he got on a business trip) almost 20 years ago. That one is long gone but this is a great replacement.The build quality is superb and I actually like that it’s a little on the heavy side.The blue M66 that came with the pen wasn’t great (as many others have mentioned - cuts out, blotchy flow etc) but the Black refills I bought are much, much smoother.

I bought one of these to give as a Christmas present having previously bought one on Amazon.de. Whilst the pen was identical (and 5 star) the box was rather disappointing for the quality of pen, whereas the earlier example came in a lovely presentation box. Then pen itself was fine, however, beautifully made and well weighted to write with.

This is a nice pen, lucky that as I also bought some refills for it :-) Feels good in the hand, writes smoothly, good black ink and sensible price too.The 4 stars is simply because it took so long to arrive, the refills arrived quite some time before it, but the pen did come from Germany, so guess that it walked here :-)

Lovely pen. Writes beautifully, like a fountain pen. The medium thickness refill is still quite thick. Discrete, but very high quality. All the external parts are brass and other metals, although internals are some hard plastic. Nicely weighted. Lost mine, so immediately bought a replacement. Then found the other :)

Pen is amazing. The mechanism is very slick. Comfortable to hold. I would say that the included refill nib is on the thick side, I purchased a thinner nib, it’s perfect.UPDATE - sadly the pen has stopped working. The mechanism no longer clicks down to reveal the nib. I hope the seller can resolve this issue for me?

I've owned one of these pens for about what, 15 years now? I love it. I'm on my second one, but only because I unfortunately lost the first one. If I lost it again I'd buy another without question. It's absolutely great, a real pleasure to use.

My refill was rubbish origionally. Put it in a wee bowl of hot water for 5 minutes. Now works beautifully. I think the refills have been kept in is storage far too long. The pen is a fine design. Have had one for ages and still as good as new.

This pen is amazing. Really swift to write with. Comes with Lamy box and a blue ink cartridge. The leaflet inside the box shows other pens and how to refill. Despite what others have written in their review. This pen relies on M66 refills.

I have large hands so itwas a little disappointed with the size and feel of this Lamy rollerball. However the actual rollerball was superb as usual hence 4 stars, my hands are just a little too big. Lovely pen though.

Cannot understand why this does not say delivered as it arrived 1 October without any bother? Nice pen but it came with blue ink lucky it also came with another order of black refils and I swapped one no problem.
