This was bought for my son to use on his 2DS but of course I had to have a go of it, too, just to try it!The main character Kirby appears in several other titles but I steered my son towards this specific game as it had so many positive reviews and is supposed to be one of the best 2/3DS games.It is a platform game, played horizontally across the screen left to right but instead of a sword, or gun or just jumping as your tools/weapons you have yarn/wool to unravel and sort of flick to get you where you want to go or indeed to unravel your enemies. There are numerous power-ups ( a woollen tank) to gain as you go along most of which we have no doubt not yet seen as we haven't fully completed the game.I think the graphics are great as well as the music (in little interludes)

Just finished the first world, never had it on the wii, and while it is super early in the game - I can happily tell you this is a very very cool game.Brilliant, imaginative and fun ...If you love Kirby and if you love your 3ds this game is fantastic for sure.It's 2d only - which may irk some, no biggie for me.Lovely stuff on the 3ds now in it's twilight years.Thank you peeps!!!EDIT : Finished the basic game and while I really loved it - it can be finished in 7-8 hrs.That may be something to consider if you want to get something meatier for your money.I do think it's a tad short and for that reason, I've dropped my rating to a 4.You get two mini games - both fun for a while but,

Kirbys extra epic yarn is a wonderful port that doesnt lose anything from the original.The graphics are excellent and the art style keeps its form.Controls are easy to pick up and play so if your a kirby fan then this game is for you.

Dont like my boy on games consoles to much but if he is well these are the games I like him playing,can hear him laughing when playing and likes showing me all the stuff he can collect on the way nice game

It’s a wonderful game love it its awesome excellent game to play with used to be on the Wii U version I’m proud to own this one what can I say about it love it anything to do with Kirby games

Excellent game more or less the same as the wii version but a lot easier to control. Puzzle platformer and Kirby fans will love this

A few things feel different from the original wii title but still a fun kirby experience that doesn't fail to make me smile.

It's a good remake of the Wii version the dedede and meta knight minigames are super fun and enjoyable
