Worked perfectly on my Synology DS2415+. I am now happily running 16GB RAM on this.Just a heads up to anyone who is looking to upgrade the RAM on this model, you just need to remove the cover on the top of this unit (as well as the one on the side which is the user replaceable side, turn it on its side (I would recommend doing this on a towel, so that the side that is open with the user replaceable RAM is now on the towel). Gently then remove the RAM DIMM from the inside of the unit, if you are gentle and careful its not that hard to do. Insert the new RAM DIMM in the internal slot, turn it back on its normal position, replace the other DIMM on the user replaceable side, and you are done,

I was a little apprehensive when purchasing 2 of these items for my Mac mini (mid 2011). According to a number of web sites this model cannot take more than 8GB RAM or RAM at speeds greater than 1333Mhz. This is not the case. I have been running Final Cut Pro X, Apple Motion, Apple Mail, Safari, utilising almost 14GB RAM for 24 hours now (with this new memory), and no problems at all. The Mac Mini recognised the RAM as soon as it was powered up. So all good.

Transformed my Macbook Pro which with a not so fast processor was rather sluggish, since the new memory its very speedy and feels all round lighter and snappier. very easy to swap by following an online video from you tube

Upgrade of an i7 quad core laptop from 8Gb to 16Gb RAM (the most it will support) was dead easy and makes the machine, which has a solid state "hard drive", significantly faster, especially processing CAD files.

I just bought these (16gb) for my macbook pro early 2011 (i7, 13'') and it works perfectly ! My computer recognizes this product as 16gb and 1600mgh ! I was scared but it works !

Used this to double the RAM in son's ASUS laptop.No noticeable speed improvement apart from software start-up but multitasking has improved as has video playback.Easy to fit

Just boosted my Macbook Pro 7,1 (mid 2010) from 4 to 10 GB, next step - 16GB.So far so good, memory works as it should, my VM's can benefit a lot from the extra memory.

I have this 8GB SODIMM installed in a ASRock Rack J1900D2Y Motherboard for a few days.So far all working fine and not had any problems with it.

Bought this to upgrade my Sony Vaio and it improved my laptop's performance. It was a bit expensive but I recommend it.
