Kaspersky Internet Security 2018 | 3 Devices | 1 Year | PC/Mac/Android | DownloadDelivery. This version comes as an activation code only. It comes in 1,3,5,or 10 devices form. It will protect PC’s, Mac’s, all modern phones and tablets.Using.To use the software, you first have to log into Kaspersky and create an account with your email address and chosen password. The next step is to find the software title and enter the key on the activation card in the pack. Next you go to the download screen to obtain your software after accepting a few license screen tick boxes. It sounds complicated but it is very easy in practice.Set up.As it starts downloading it will remove any existing anti-virus software and may restart your machine. On my average specified PC the process took about 10 minutes to complete. After downloading it runs a quick introduction which tells you about the features. You can skip this if you are familiar with the interface. In use.It is basically set and forget for most users but you can ask for scans to be completed from the menu screen. It is very simple to use.System impact. It sits in the background watching over your system and has very little system overhead on my average i5 based PC. When it is running a full scan, it does slow things down a bit but all my software is still reasonably responsive. If it finds anything it just deals with it and you can review a report of your systems health at anytime.Effectiveness.I have been running Kaspersky for many years now and I have never had any virus, malware or other security problems on any of my machines. It has stopped all suspicious sites and warned me a bout out of date certificates etc. every time. Overall, I have been very pleased with the ease of use and security it has offere4d. We have a lot of machines in our house and none have had any problems since using Kaspersky. It always comes out top in tests in the computer magazines so I see no reason to change. The closest competition seems to be from Norton so you pay your money and takes your choice as they say! I work in education and we use Kaspersky in our systems as it does a great job.Overall.Excellent set and forget protection that has worked well for me over the years so I see no reason to change brands and recommend Kaspersky once again. There are two other versions that extend the cover that this version adds. The first is Total Security that adds some more on machine cover and the other is the Cloud version. This covers your Cloud files as well as your local files. However, this one is excellent and you will only need the other features if you are a heavy online and Cloud user.

Kaspersky continue to offer possibly the best security for your computer devices whether they be Windows/Mac or Android and not only are they still top of the tree, but this one pack has five licences for five different products from all three operating systems.Kaspersky has as its unique selling point over the other two that it uses fewer resources in the background as windows is running, impacting your run speed the least. In using Kaspersky now for ten years it has NEVER let a virus through any of my systems! The user interface is clear and friendly, especially easy to navigate and looks better than ever. All the features you expect from an internet security system are there, including anti-virus,anti-spyware, anti-adware, privacy (more than just a firewall - stops anyone taking over your webcam, capturing your personal information when browsing, helping block phishing attacks), financial protection (an extra level of protection when you are shopping or banking) and child protection (protects against on line dangers, inappropriate websites and manages messaging on social networks. In addition to all these features it won't slow down your digital life, but lets your computer operate the way it was supposed to by having a very minimal effect on memory usage.Gone are the days when you just had a few viruses to worry about, and Kaspersky offers protection form almost any on line threat you can think of. This is simply the best level of protection you can use and offers great value for money protecting five devices with one purchase for one year.I still have one product with MacAfee and still use Norton from time to time, but Kaspersky is the system that I feel safest with - and I am sure that you will too!

I have used Kaspersky Internet Security (KIS) for many years and am confident it is trustworthy and does a good job. As well as the regular scans for rootkits it performs throughout the day it checks incoming emails/attachments for viruses and provides a secure browser environment for use with financial websites. I find the virtual keyboard feature very useful for entering passwords etc. It is easy to quickly check the safety of a file downloaded from the Internet by a right click on it in Windows Explorer. A Full Scan of one’s hard drive understandably can be slow and take many hours if you have several million files.I have found that although subscription renewals are encouraged it is still often slightly cheaper to buy the new discounted product. If you use Firefox you may find that after installing a new version of KIS you cannot access certain web pages typically those starting with “https://” This seems to be because Firefox can no longer find the necessary SSL Kaspersky Security Certificate which has now been placed by KIS in a new folder. Solutions to this can be found on the Web, but the following summary may be helpful:In Firefox, select: - Options | Privacy & Security| CertificatesClick on "View Certificates"In Certificates Manager, select "Authorities" tabClick on "Import" button. In File Dialog Box, navigate to "C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\AVP18.0.0\Data\Cert"Select "(fake)Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal Root Certificate.cer"Click "Open" buttonSet Firefox to trust the certificate for websitesClose the Certificates Manager, close Firefox, and re-open FirefoxSSL websites should now be read OK

I've had this for a while now on a couple of my Windows laptops and so far so good. The installation takes the form of a code. This is as expected seeing as this is a multi-device software covering security for Windows, Mac and Android (not sure about Windows Phone, iPhone and iPad). The code is inserted on a website you need to login to (website URL comes in the box along with the code although there are options to select for receiving the code via email rather than by post) and the security software is downloaded and installed from there. Only the first device’s installation needed the code. The second just accepted my login details to the website (username and password – useful for if you lose the card with the code on,not so useful if you also forget your password).Installation for me took probably around 30 mins each time. This included the removal of my previous security software. The whole process was straightforward. The 5-devices 1-year subscription starts from the date of installation on the first device. It would be better if each year started from the time you installed on that device, not on the first. Also if you don’t need this for 5 devices then other editions of the software are available (some cheaper) with different numbers of devices (1, 3, 5 and 10).One of the features it has is the quick scan instead of the full scan, ideal for if you don’t have a long time to devote to scanning your computer. So far this software has not been problematic in any way and we hope that our devices remain secure for the remainder of the year.

Have been using KIS for years now and it's one of the few suites I've never considered leaving (competitive offers have been the main tempter) as it's never slowed my system down and has a reliably consistent and simple user interface. Though I've been fortunate to have very few viruses for any machine in my lifetime, I'd rather KIS be the safety net over Windows Defender and other free options. For 5 devices for 1 year the price is really good. I'm not sure I'd ever both with it on Android (apps are now scanned by Google themselves for odd behaviour) or on a Mac (too few viruses that best practice is enough), but it's good that those platforms are catered for in addition to Windows PCs (and iOS devices and obsolete Windows phones).Installation was easy.Just download the trial version from online and enter the code from the scratchcard to unlock the full license; so an emailed code would probably save some money and time. There's added value in parental controls, a safe browser environment mode for financial/shopping sites, and there's a limited-data VPN that can be upgraded if desired.I'm not sure if there's better current competition, but I know there's much much worse than this, so it's full stars from me. I've been put off at various times by older big name competitors.

Kaspersky Internet Security continues to get a 100% pass rate from Virus Bulletin and Computer Active and, I haven't seen an impact on resources or problems; I'll come to Money later. The American Government has banned Kaspersky and there is a mention in some newspapers that UK Security might have some concerns. Whether this just "fake news" or reality there are probably bigger risks out there, so I'm happy to continue using Kaspersky Internet Security. Kaspersky Money can provide extra protection for sites where you are using a credit card, but it can prevent some sites validating a transaction so they have to be added to the exception list. The licence key can be added to an existing Kaspersky installation that has yet to expire, but this may not be quite straight forward if the number of devices differ. I have an existing licence for 10 devices that expires on 31 December 2017. Adding the new licence key for 5 devices flags it as invalid. I either have to logon to my account in MyKaspersky or close Internet Security, reopen it and then enter the licence key again before it is accepted.

I have used Kaspersky Internet Security since 2010 and have never had any issues with viruses, trojans, malware etc.Their software is constantly in the top 2 and generally in top place in Internet Security comparisons. It is effective and work effortlessly in the background. Depending on your settings it often works on it's own and deals with things with minimal fuss. This is good but at times you may see something flash up and disappear without you really knowing what has happened. The product comes in the standard DVD size box with a simple plastic activation card. You can then download the product. The product is very good in the fact that it covers a number of your devices even if they have different operating systems,ie PC, Mac, Android etc.Recent US and UK Governments have made comment about them not using Kaspersky products, however, the IT experts seem to presently advise that there should be nothing to worry about for the normal user with evidence lacking in the claims. If you are in doubt BitDefender seems well rated, although I have no experience in using this program.

I have used Kaspersky as my Internet Security provider of choice for most of the last 10 years – with just a couple of years of alternative providers when they made some changes that caused me no end of frustration!Having returned to Kaspersky a number of years ago now, I feel happy that they are back to their best and know that they protect all of our household’s devices securely with just one product covering many computers/tablets via My Kaspersky. I like the fact that Kaspersky can manage our main family computer – a Windows desktop, my husband’s Windows laptop, my MacBook Air as well as my daughter’s tablets.I have never experienced any viruses or Trojans or anything whilst using Kaspersky and I trust it implicitly.Kaspersky generally runs unnoticed in the background – only popping up when it thinks that we might want to be alerted to a site that is unsecure or for financial sites when it wants to give the option of opening on a secure page (but you can override this if you want). There is built in child protection, it handles anti-virus, anti-spyware, anti-adware

Installation is via an activation code . You obtain this by scratching off the covering from a credit-card sized piece of plastic, typing it in and clicking the [Download] box. Download jumped to 97% within a few minutes, but then sat there with "5 seconds remaining" for around another 15 minutes. I thought the installation had hung and was on the verge of restarting, when it did complete. You then have to run an update to the anti-virus database, which only took a further 5 minutes or so.Scanning, seems to take around the same time as with previous AV packages and I've not observed any noticeable slowdown of my system whilst running this.Obviously any anti-virus package stands or falls on how effectively it protects your system against threats and,if Kaspersky Internet Security 2018 gets my PC through the next year without any problems, I will be more than satisfied.

For a long time we used Norton Internet security then realised it was too intrusive and slowing the computer up, AVG was similar. When we started looking for alternatives Kapersky was recommended to us. While there are several ways to purchase we find the multi user protection is better value and protects all devices in our family. When buying online Kapersky offers an option to open up their own protected financial secure page, it can get a little annoying as they offer it on every single transaction.Installation is easy, a step by step guide leads you through the whole process. Since using Kapersky we have not had the annoying pop ups appear, when there is a doubt Kapersky just gets on with it.However they are vigilant and by doing regular scans we have never encountered any viruses.Highly recommended for family use.

I've had Kaspersky Total Security on my laptop for the last year without any complaints, but as I didn't really use all of the features I have downgraded to Internet Security. When you buy this product you are sent a card through the post with instructions and code to download the antivirus software. As I already had Kaspersky on my computer this was really quick and easy, taking less than 1 minute. It straight away reminded me to carry out some updates on my computer. The software runs pretty much the same as my previous version just without some of the premium features. In an ever more digital world this gives peace of mind for all of your family computers for a reasonable price.

As with the Total Security this is reasonable value for 5 devices and it has been easy to use the product key to get it installed at work and home. It is slightly strange on new devices you seem to have to download the trial version to use the product key and that is not maybe explained as clearly as many would like.It works quickly and efficiently and does not seem to have slowed down the device or caused hiccups when starting up. So far it appears to do the job and have happily installed it on a number of devices.

As a customer of Barclays i us to get this for free ,i saw no reason to stop using it when everybody got in a panic about this product doing what it was designed to do and have been using this for over 10 years now and have never had any problems. Easy to install does not hog system and just works very well in the background.this years version 2020 is even quicker than previous version and would recommend this above all others to anybody.Shall renew again in may.Very happy with product

Kapersky is my favourite internet security product ,I tried others for a while but very glad to have returned to this.Easy to install and I would definitely recommend the 5 devices procudt as it means I can use this for all our other internet products even the apps one.It doesn't interfere with internet surfing and you can personalise your security settings .Overall I would only recommend kapersky and this is a great priced procudt, easy to use and worth every penny.

My previous AV was fine but they kept billing me numerous time and it was a pain getting my money back. Plus they also substantially increased the prices.I reviewed Kaspersky across a number of sites and it was bench marked as a good option. I initially installed on a trial and it is good, no lag, no issues, lots of features. Very good and the price for my 5 devices was superb.
