Recently bought the K4 compact after years of being put off by seeing my sons older machine in the shed in a mess of hose and cables and having to fight you're way through the mess when you needed to get anything near to it. So when my wife mentioned about getting a power washer i looked online and saw the k4 compact i thought perfect nice and clean and tidy. On its arrival easy to set up and use, did a smashing job on the patio but when i came to tidy it away its nothing like the pictures. There is no bottom lip on the body of the machine to hold the hose in and don't know if its me but found it nye on impossible to wrap the hose round.

I spent a long time deciding which type of pressure washer to buy and read many reviews before deciding on the Karcher K4 Compact. It was easy to set up and use and my patio, which is over 20 years old, now looks like new! I'd forgotten the stone was yellow underneath as it was dark grey before cleaning! However, there was a LOT of dirty water to be swept away but then that's to be expected. The wheels are a bonus as it is rather heavy to lift. I am more than happy with the cleaning results and definitely think I made the right choice!

Replaced my old Karcher 090 which didn't owe me anything but was worn & lacking power, and the pressure switch didn't work, the new K4 compact is much more powerful and made cleaning the patio so much quicker. Long HP hose is convenient and the adjustable lance good when you don't want full power. Tools store nicely on the machine, but don't expect the hose to coil and store on it like in the photo. The casing is simply not shaped correctly to allow this at the bottom!! All in all very pleased.

Pros: Powerful jet and very well built. Could rip the paint off your car if not careful. Has variable pressure settings, so can be used on delicate and aggressive tasks. Also, has a long hose, so you’re not constantly dragging the washer around after you, unlike my old cheap washer. Cons: The “cable management”, new for 2019, is rubbish. Neither power chord nor water hose stay attached like the picture, not a big deal though, but don’t buy for this feature, or you’ll be disappointed.

Perfect power hose for my garden slabs, brought them up like new in half the time it took with the old power hose I’ve had for years. So happy with it, wrapped the electric cable around the front part but keep the cable ties to hold it together and have the hose coiled and sitting in at the extended handle. It doesn’t wrap as neat as the photo but still a good buy, sections to hold the two hose heads so it’s all neatly together and I could just stand it up straight for storage

Delivery was good and the Pressure Washer arrived quickly. I'm a 79 years old female and I assembled this Pressure Washer with no problems. I also found it very easy to use, my first job was to clean my greenhouse, which I accomplished without difficulty. The next job is to clean my patio flags, and I do not expect to have any problems with that either. It was very easy to use (and with social distancing taken into account I had to manage on my own!!)Thank you Karcher!

My last Karcher finally had to be laid to rest after faithful service and I am delighted with its replacement. Very functional and effective and as good as I knew a Karcher would be. I am very slightly concerened that I cant get the cable and high pressure hose to very tidily wrap around for transport and the aooarent lack of a secure means of putting the detergent hose into the Karcher cleaner solution - but these arent likely to spoil my overall satisfaction at all.

I purchased my Karcher a week ago after trying To clean my garden decking. My old Karcher of 10 years finally gave up and I needed to tidy up the garden and get the decking sorted as it was stained and very dirty. I had bought some decking cleaner that was quite expensive but It didn’t clean Properly even though we scrubbed and scrubbed We opened the box of our new Karcher and used it on the deckingWow wonderful so easy to use and our decking looks like new

The karcher k4 compact was a great buy for me as its allowed me to clean my car in less than 20 minutes as a pose to using a hose which would take me double that. The portability is easy and has an adjustable handle to make it better to wheel if your taller than average. I thought that it is a very good product for the price although it didn't have a storage compartment for the handle or the lead although it has one for the attachments on the jet.

Having bought a similar, but smaller version of this 4 years ago, I was really annoyed when my pressure washer broke. I ordered this newer model and really cannot believe how much better it is. Cleaning the patio was a joy. No chemicals or special treatment required. I’m almost glad the old one broke down. Let’s hope it last a bit longer Karcher as it’s too expensive & too wasteful to be replacing a pressure washer every 4 years.

Punched this a month ago and it’s a good, compact machine. The telescopic handle is a nice feature.Only a couple of things that could be improved... the hose storage looks great in the product photos but it doesn’t quite work like that as there is no lip to hold the hose at the bottom so every time you go over a bump the hose falls off! Also there is no where to store the cable..Other than that it’s a great machine.

The K4 compact worked well at blasting away ingrained algae on paving stones. It is simple to use and adjust. It would help if there was a place to attach or fit a shampoo bottle rather than just stand on the ground. Also the cable/hose holder is basically just a big hook meaning the cable/hose just hangs there. Note that the motor only runs when water is being pumped making it quieter in use than some pressure washers.

I would normally employ someone to clean my patio garden and conservatory but needs must in this time of lock down. I m a 65 year old female with no strength in my hands but found it easy to use apart from the sturdy hose from the machine getting tangled up and hard to unwind. On wheels so could easily move about and powerful. The end result is terrific and kept me busy for a week when stuck at home. A great investment.

Bought the compact Karcher as it was in stock, glad I did no where near as heavy as it's predecessor and altogether more manoeuvrable. Really powerful jet for cleaning patio and wooden garden furniture - did a great job. As previous reviews said storage of flex and jet hose doesn't really work. Also beware extending handle it can pull out of the body when you're wheeling it. Minor gripes though, still a good piece of kit.

This is the perfect Karcher for me, I wanted something that could pack a punch and also light enough for me to move around and go up and down my outside steps. This model is small and sturdy, it also has two large wheels. There are two lances although I have just used the one for my patio, which it made light work of. If your looking for something with simple controls, lightweight and powerful, this is the one!
