Quick overview (more detail below): I have been using this for over a month and if it blew up tomorrow I'd have to get another one because I've done so much work with it; a lot of work I hadn't realised I could do.The positives: it really removes dirt, grime and slime.The negatives: a fair amount of pressure is required to keep the trigger squeezed and it hurts my hand after half an hour's use; it would be good to have some quick-release locking mechanism on the trigger.It takes little assembly time out of the box (which is pretty heavy). I didn't like the instruction booklet, not least because the text instructions (A, B, C etc) were on a different pages to the pictorial guide that they referred to.Six screws, a handle and a couple of plastic moulding, a net and a hose-lock connector and it's time to clean.There's a choice of attachments that fit onto the hose connector easily with a 1/4 turn. Power and water on; squeeze and clean.I have cleaned paving slabs and block paving ... it will blast any loose mortar right out, so some re-pointing is almost certainly going to be required. Use on a lower power setting will protect the mortar but it won't get the grime off the surface.I have used it (on a lower power setting) to get green algae off fencing post and panels.I have used it to clean green gunk off the glazing bars and end-caps of a conservatory roof (low power with the wand at the right angle to avoid water ingress) with great success ... whilst I was up there I flushed out the gutter too.I've also cleaned out cars with great success.The power setting is displayed on the handle; I found this useful when washing because at if it's at its highest power setting (unnoticed) this washer might start to take the paint off the car. The handle only displays the pressure, but can't be used to alter it ... that requires a twist of the wand.The water tube winds neatly onto its own drum (wound the power cable around the handle); it doesn't take up much more space than an upright vacuum cleaner vacuum cleaner.So that's about it. Apart from the force required to keep the trigger squeezed this is an excellent, versatile cleaning device.

Purchased for my mum after she was quoted 3 grand to clean her patio! You haven't got to start shopping for add-on accessories, this is the whole kit in 1 single box. You get the K4 itself (obviously), the patio cleaner, the soft rotating brush for smooth surfaces such as; conservatory & all UPVC surfaces (window-sills etc.), glass, garage doors, and more. car-cleaning-brilliant on alloy wheels, glass (all those dead flies stuck to the windscreen + other front surfaces such as lights, number plate etc., inner wheel-arches/under-car etc.) (word of caution, it won't harm your original paint, but any repaired areas may be vulnerable. It can easily strip paint from porous/permeable surfaces)You also get 2- 1 litre bottles of cleaning fluid (stone/patio) + car shampoo which you can also use for aforementioned smooth surfaces. Additional Spray-foam bottle and 2-spray attachments (one with rotating jet for incredible power jet, and one 'vario'). 0.4m extension piece. The 6 metre high pressure [hp] hose is permanently attached and winds conveniently on reel attached to the main unit. I've owned a much older & less powerful Karcher for more than 30 years, which still works perfectly. I have always kept it in good condition, i.e., wiping it over after use and even kept it in its original box.I personally recommend that you ensure after use, all the water is out of the hp hose is completely emptied by running off any excess water after disconnecting water inlet hose, then I turn the unit on its end and run the motor for just a few seconds to ensure all excess water is pumped out of the unit before putting it away.In-all, I thoroughly recommend 'Karcher' cleaners. Look after them, they'll last a lifetime.Lastly, shop around, prices vary massively (£250-300 max is about right) but I've seen some selling for as much as £600+! and watch-out for several different kits. Bought this on offer a few weeks back and if your looking, I’d suggest keeping an eye on the various kits as there can be some nice savings from time to time.Overall the machine is a good quality and sturdy unit. The kit I got cane with the car foam lance, patio cleaner, rotary brush attachment and the usual lances.Straight out of the box, I had it running in about 20mins and it got a solid 4hrs usage and it never faulted once. The patio cleaner is a fantastic device and worked really well on my concrete paths, much better than the lance on it’s own! The foam lance worked really well for washing the car, a bottle of snow foam detergent was all that was needed and it worked flawlessly.The washer has a quick attach detergent slot on top which is great if you buy the karcher detergents (mine came with 2 bottles 1for stone and 1 car shampoo) it would be great though if you could refill these bottles as Karcher sell 15 liter containers of these detergents for not a lot more than these smaller 1 liter bottles.Overall the machine is a well put together unit which offers plenty of power for most of not all home usage, it won’t compete with a petrol powered washer but then it was never supposed to. The attachments are all solid and well put together, the “control” handle thing as I expected is just a gimmick and just shows you how far you have the pressure dialed in on the lance, the adverts would have you believe it does more.. but that didn’t bother me. I would recommend the K4 premium with the handy reel for winding up the hose when finished. My only con with this unit is the hose could’ve been a bit longer.As I said above, look at all the options/kits on sale. Mine was a lot cheaper than some of the same kits with less accessories which in themselves would be an extra €70-80!!

There are a few bits missing with this kit even though at first glance it seems to have a comprehensive amount of accessories. I bought this a few days ago and straight away I realised that to get the full benefit of the system, I'd need accessories, and lots of them.You see, the HOSE is just a tad short for moving around without having to go back and move the washer every couple of minutes, the floor cleaning LANCE is a tad short for other jobs (like the porch roof tiles). The ROTARY BRUSH doesn't allow angle adjustment, the SNOW FOAM HEAD doesn't allow flow rate control and the CONTAINER is too small. But all of these shortcomings can be addressed - at CONSIDERABLE cost - with Karcher branded accessories.Lance extensions,a larger snow foam lance w\ flow rate and fan adjustment, a 6 metre high pressure hose extension, a decent washing brush for the conservatory roof - which the extensions will help me get to, and a 180 degree Angle adjuster. Karcher see fit to include the cheapest accessories in their range, so if you really want FULL CONTROL you'll have to buy the components separately. The extra for me has been in the region of £150 on top of the initial £230 outlay, although most will find they only need to spend half what I did on extras.That said, I feel the washer itself is well made, and fairly hefty for a washer - just as well it has wheels! It works very well and hopefully it will last a good 5-10 years before it needs anything major replacing.5 stars, minus 1 for the cost of the (necessary) accessories that make it a serious bit of kit.

Bought this to replace my old Karcher and is so much better. Well built, easy to use and plenty powerful enough for pretty much any job at home. Only gripe I have is with the reel which I paid extra for at the time I bought it. At first I thought it was great being able to reel the hose up as it kept everything really neat and made it easier when packing away. However I found it had quite a major drawback. Even if you wound the hose in so it was as loose as possible on the reel , the next time you used the washer the hose kept this shape and coiled up terribly like a spring. You are constantly having to twist the hose to remove the coils and even when you do this it still does it.I now don't use the reel and just wrap the hose around the unit very loosly. When I use it now the hose doesn't coil nearly as much as before. Definitely recommended, I just wouldn't bother with the reel, as convenient as it looks.

I've had a cheaper Karcher for about four years for the car. Recently the hose sprung a leak and I was quite shocked at the price of a replacement and left it. It was my luck that I got the opportunity to review this. Going from a cheaper to a more expensive model I'm not sure what difference I was expecting. I was 100% happy with the old cheaper one until it bust. However, I think the integrated hose in this one - and the extra pressure - are noticeable. The patio cleaning attachments though are a revelation. It is one of the most therapeutic things I've done is blasting and cleaning the Patio and drive. Both honestly have come out looking spanking, brand new, and this kit made super light work of it.Fully recommend, my only reservation is the price of any replacement bits when they eventually fail - but without knowing how soon that will be, I'll assume we're talking years and will give this 5 Stars

Absolutely delighted with this product! I had toyed with the idea of getting this pressure washer for months and it did not disappoint when I eventually bit the bullet.Have used the majority of its many functions now and am particularly impressed with the rotating floor tool. My decking and patio have never looked so good, just in time for drinks al fresco! It was super easy to put together, in fact, my 8 year old son did it for me including the few screws that were required for the handles etc.Had a tiny problem upon delivery where one on the bottles of cleaning fluid had burst, Amazon shipped a brand new one immediately.If you’re undecided on whether this is the one for you, just go for it!I wish I’d bought it months ago, could have saved myself 6 months of car valets!

Huge Improvement over the previous K2 model I had. Comes with every tool you could need for cleaning various different things like the Car, Patio, Decking, Walls and Furniture etc. The newer version of the Patio cleaner made very short work of the long driveway I used to spend hours washing and has made it a lot safer as it was covered in Green Algae from the Winter. The Vario Lance and new gun make it really simple to vary the pressure without having to change lances which I used to have to do a lot and the Wind in Reel on the back of the Unit help to stop you from getting tangled up in the hoses etc.Would highly recommend this Karcher package only time will tell how long it lasts me but with a 5 year guarantee I am pleased with my purchase.

Excellent Jet washer. This is the third jet wash I've had and this is easily the best. Its not cheap but sometimes its worth paying the premium. It very powerful indeed be careful with lance you could easily damage the paint on a car with it. The hard surface/patio cleaner additional add on that comes with this kit is superb. It literally sped up cleaning our patio by 300% compared with using a lance alone. The built in detergent system is effective, although the replacement bottles are expensive my suggestion would be to refill with a solution that's a little cheaper.

Great machine, bought it for the patio and the patio cleaner head works a treat on Indian sandstone, the high pressure lance is far too powerful for the patio and can 'flake' the sandstone, the adjustable pressure lance and car cleaning brush is good for car cleaning. Not sure about the cleaning fluid dispenser (car wash or floor cleaner) this seems to dispense most of a bottle in next to no time unless you stop the water and just use the brush to move the suds about then give a bit more water to get more suds etc.

My K3.550 died and I bought this (K4 Premium Full Control). So far I have only used it once, on grimy paving, and have not tested all the bits and pieces. However it is clearly in a different league, much more powerful and will do really dirty/ingrained paving in less than half the time. The hose holder is useful, and easy to operate. Full marks so far. Power-wise I can't see any need for a bigger version than the K4. My previous one lasted for years, so am hoping this will too.

I've been happy with this pressure washer it's got good power and cleans all the things I bought it for really well, decking, patio and cars. I have had other pressure washer before including a basic model karcher and have been disappointed with their sturdiness and power so far this seems different I have had it about 10 weeks and have used it 3/4 times for long periods. Only thing I would say it could do with a longer power flex.

Really impressed with this! After nearly 10 years my K5.55 gave up. I tried to repair it but was unsuccessful. This is the K4 Premium which as the hose real on the back. B & Q are selling the normal K4 for the same price! This is the better K4 to go for plus i bought the 10m hose and swapped it as this comes with 6m which is fine but for me washing vans its not quite long enough. Well worth buying this!! Loads of accessories!

Cleaning isn't usually fun but seriously - watching the Karcher take off the dirt of any surface the way it does is just so darn satisfying! The patio floor cleaner attachment is indispensable! The speed with which we were able to clean a massive sandstone paving was just fantastic (beat using the regular pressure wand anytime!). Also works a treat when cleaning the artificial lawn (as long as you have good drainage!).
