This is a beautiful toy but it's been put together with really rubbish glue which isn't great especially given the price. Every time my son plays with it something drops off it. He's not yet two so I can't imagine how long it would last in the hands of an older child.I've so far been able to repair it with superglue but I really should have had to do that.Having said all that it is a great toy for children that like to construct and deconstruct things and it's a good design, it's just let down by poor glue!

Returned this item. The spanner broke and the head came off a bolt the first time my 3 year old grandson used it. Janod need to use stronger glue on the bolts and redesign the spanner to make them fit for play.

The fire engine is a great idea but the quality of the product is sadly very poor. The screws have come apart and the wooden part at the back has split - all after only a few weeks play.

Unfortunately, One of the bolts was not properly glued. And the general finish of the product was not as high as I had expected.
