Intelex Plush Microwavable teddy, ordered a total of 4 of these of differnt types and as same review for all i will copy and paste,5 stars first as i carnt give 10! allthough i had a vision of size dimensions in description on one of them they are bigger than i expected which is good as they for kids, err well no not just kids as the partner also wonted one so here i have a 4 month old, 13 month old, 4 year old and a grown up mummy all very happy with there water less hot water bottle bottle as the 4 year old decribes them, i love the fact that the whole thing goes in the microwave not just the inner bag as them kind the velcro goes all scabby and then they loose the wheet bag and you carnt put a zip in that kind as it might get hot and may cause burns i think,

I searched long and hard and read many reviews about various microwavable warmers, and was dubious about them retaining heat and for a length of time. And my mother has an Owl warmer made by the same company 'Intelex'. It's good, I've used it before, but you can't cuddle up to it, it's more like a little slab, it does retain heat well.With this, I took a bit of a risk, not being able to feel or cuddle him. But when he arrived! Keeps the heat marvelously, and for a long period, smells wonderful (Lavender) really noticeable at first (though quickly and with time this fades, I use lavender oil). But he's unbelievably plush and soft and beautiful to cuddle with, and looks uber cute.

Bought this for my little girl, but absolutely love it myself. It's just the right size for Lucy, just the right weight and very appealing. It doesn't stay warm for very long, but it's fine for what we need. The product warning states that the first few uses will cause the outer surface of the fabric to feel damp and it does, but apparently this will stop after a little while. If your child is sensitive, you may care to microwave Sheep privately as even I find it a bit sad watching him go round and round on the turntable, his little head wiping old baked bean residue from the top of the oven as he goes. You could pin a Cif-covered cloth onto his head and clean the microwave at the same time.

I had a monkey one of these as a gift and loved it so much that i purchased this one along with some other animal designs - dinosaur, dog, cow and another monkey. These are great at keeping you warm and smell lovely. They are so easy to use as they simply go in the microwave. Would recommend for both adults and children. These would be safer than a hot water bottle as there is very little risk of burns.UPDATE 4 years later - The 2 monkeys, sheep and cow are still in great condition, however unfortunately i have had to mend the dinosaur and dog on the upper seam as they split slightly. Don't let this put you off as they have been used daily and are still a great practical and novelty product.

this little creature is adorable and extremely soft. the expression on the lamb's face is very sweet. I bought it for my 10 mth old in Dec and to begin with I used it to warm his cot just before he went to sleep but I would take it out just in case it was too heavy for him. Now he sleeps with it and cuddles it like another teddy - he finds it very comforting to nuzzle into and as he is in a sleeping bag most nights it keeps his hands warm tho not through the night of course. the lavender scent was nice to start with but I have been using it every night for 6wks now and the scent has long gone which is a shame, but i will continue to use it.

I don't normally write reviews, but I felt it necessary for the superb value and quality of this. It really is super soft - don't be hesitant about the quality because it is up there with the expensive toys you would normally associate with this type of product. It really is great value, and super cute. It is quite a heavy toy, but stays warm for quite a while, so perfect for bed time and those cold winter nights! I bought this as a present and its a great 'little extra' you can give for such a great price and it looks like you payed a good amount for it! I really would recommend buying this because of the quality and value and super quick delivery also! Thanks!

This was a very well received Christmas gift. It is very cute and cuddly but also a good size and weight, so retains the heat well. It starts off slightly cooler than a hot water bottle, so no risk of being burned, but it stays warm for longer. The whole sheep spends two minutes in the microwave, making it very simple to use - although the poor thing does look rather sad as it goes round and round in rather a hunched position! The sheep has a fairly strong but pleasant lavender smell when warm. It is also very useful for someone needing a pleasant warmth to ease joint pain. Very good value for money and strongly recommended.

I got this for my friend's baby and even though the information tag says you can't use it heated until the child is three years old, I'm very happy with it even without being able to use it for that just yet. It's beautifully soft and the filling is just heavy enough to place it next to the baby without him being able to knock it onto his face or anything like that. It has a very pleasant smell of lavender that is not overpowering which I thought may help him sleep. It looks very durable so I think he'll have it for a long time. I've bought the monkey warmer and have seen the penguin warmer, too, and they're all great.

Lovely and soft. Really cute and cuddly. Nice size and good weight to it. 90 seconds in the microwave is perfect. I love the smell of lavender so it's perfect for me but if you don't like the smell this is probably not for you. It does smell of wheat/oats but it is wheat based. I've had a wheat warmer before so this was expected. The first 5-6 times of warming it was slightly damp but this was mentioned on the product info that came with it. This is very common with wheat based microwaveable warmers but does disappear with use so persevere. Absolutely love this product! So soothing. Fab for all ages!

Keeps my wife warm, 2 minutes or so in the microwave provides a good hour of warmth. The lavender smell may be a little overpowering to some at first but this attenuates with frequent use. Apparently this can also be frozen and used as a cold-compress for sprains etc., but I have not tried this myself.These are much better than other products I've used in which you have to remove a pouch, warm it and place it back inside - these provide little to no warmth so I thoroughly recommend this brand. We now have various Intelex microwavable plush animals and are satisfied with them all.

These couldn't be better for children. They are great for tummy aches, night time cuddles and keeping their feet warm at night in the winter. And mummy loves them too for, umm, grown up pains and achey backs. They stay warm for ages so you are not constantly getting up to reheat them and they are far safer than filling a hot water bottle with boiling water. It is also great to make sure they don't get too hot for the children as you can microwave them for as long or as little as you like. And of course all the designs are fabulous!!!!

Received this little fellow today,! Wow am I amazed! It's of Fantastic quality so soft and cuddly, it's heavy but that's good as it won't move about in the bed , I bought it for myself as I have trouble sleeping and the smell of lavender and the soft warming body should aid sleep, I plan to warm it up tonight in microwave and place it under the cover so I can relax with the smell and warmth of this cosy fellow,! Perfect for adults who can't relax so easy at night , I absolutely adore this sheep warmer and highly recommend this

I ordered this for my mother who has dementia. It is perfect, just the right size to cuddle and stroke. It is so soft and the fur is deeper than it looks in the picture. It smells mildly of lavender so it's not overpowering, just enough to relax you without making you sneeze or open a window.The experts say that stroking an animal reduces blood pressure, I'm sure the sensation from stroking this woud have the same effect. It's just gorgeous. The sheep wasn't hard, more floppy which added to the comfort and cuddly-ness of it.

I find these little warmers amaizing. They are cute and get very warm . I suffer a lot on winter nights, where my feet will never get warm, regardless of how many thick socks I'm wearing, causing me a difficulty in sleeping. AFter I acquired my first Cozy Plush ... I started to sleep nice and promptly and amazingly next day it is still warmish!After few years of use it need to be replaced by a new one, but I strongly recommend it for anyone that has the same problem, and it is a nice gift as well as its practical and cute!

This is a great winter warmer and may help with aches and pains too. Just pop in the microwave for a minute or two and you'll have a couple of hours of heat. So much nicer than a hot water bottle, though as the sheep is so cute small children may think it is a cruel to put him/her in the microwave! As usual Amazon's delivery was fast and I was surprised to find they are actually made in England for a change rather than the other side of the world (which does make a difference if you care about your carbon footprint).
