This HyperX 8GB SODIMM RAM module is for Laptops and I have successfully installed and tested it out for my HP Envy x360 15.6" which had 4GB 2400MHz soldered RAM and 4GB 2400MHz removeable. Now, even though it sits 4GB + 8GB RAM, it works completely fine for my laptop.If you are purchasing this to increase RAM in your laptop, you should then be aware for the kind of memory it currently uses and ensure that it's not all soldered by opening and checking or online review. Do lookout for the type of memory currently used i.e. DDR3? DDR4? and what kind of Mega Hertz is currently used and ensure you buy similar or if you are sure then use a higher Hertz RAM.

Fixed my faulty stock samsung memory. After running memory tests, discovered my old Samsung RAM was erroring and was probably why I was getting BSOD issues, which seemingly was getting worse and worse. Got this as an upgrade and now my Razer Blade Pro 17 feels not just more reliable but faster as well. Got my best Fire Strike score by about 500-1000 points after installing this RAM. Highly recommend this RAM.

Installed in an 2 year old Asus Zenbook Pro - the current ones have soldered memory so cannot be upgraded - to give 24Gb, 8Gb base plus the upgrade from 4Gb to 16Gb.So far has performed faultlessly with the machine quite often being on 24/7. No crashes or or other issues. Slight speed improvement but size and reliability the main attributes. Appears well made. Reasonable value compared to some.

5 stars for amazon service only. As for RAM - I am sure it is fast, but it did not work on my Dell inspirion. So can not rate it and I had to return it. Apparently, it is an old compatibility issue with Dell laptops. That was the case - after installing the hyperx ram my laptop did not boot at all(I did reset bios etc..). So bought 16GB crucial instead which has been running flawless so far.

I'm a fan of Kingston products so it's not the first time I've chosen to buy and fit HyperX Ram - and justified too. Straight forward fit, a perfect upgrade to the existing 8GB - albeit I decided to have 2 of these and have both exactly the same. (I know I didn't need to do that but I prefer to have them matched) First time fit, no issues, recognised immediately and working perfectly.

It's a stick of RAM, not much to say but it works absolutely flawlessly with the Lenovo ThinkPad T495. Gives a great boost to the system. You don't have to worry about specifically getting a 2400MHz stick for the T495 as the system will adjust the speed for you, as long as the speed is HIGHER or the same as what the system has built in. Never go slower than what you've already got.

What can I say about RAM. It was to upgrade an 8GB gaming laptop. Some of the more modern games around(looking at you Bannerlord II) are becoming a bit of a stretch for 8GB. So an upgrade was required and this was the cheapest DDR4 kit around.This is a kit that works, if you're looking for a simple decently priced kit you can't go wrong.

bought this for my ideapad 330 laptot which came with 4gb soldered ddr4 ram. lenovo said it can be maximum upgraded to 16gb so i bought this as it was on sale (big discount) 2400 version. i installed it in seconds and after boot up total usable memory i have is 20gb. amazing for value ! strongly recomend

I bought the "2x8gb 3200mhz" unit, they were easy to install; simply pop the back cover, remove old unit and pop the two in.It is important to note, that the Asus GL703GM has a max RAM clock speed of 2666mhz; so you could get 'slower' RAM at a cheaper price. Saying that, I'm very happy with my purchase!

Very happy with this purchase. At first I was confused why this was priced so low but this is the real deal. To anyone reading this, snap this up as fast as you can before it's out of stock. I don't think you'll be able to find 8gb of SDDR4 RAM anywhere else for cheaper. Believe me, I've checked.

I bought 4 of these units to upgrade to 32GB. However, what I did not know is that the Mac does not seem to support the XMP technology. Two of these units carried this update and two did not. The two that did were not recognised by the Mac causing it to refuse to boot until they were replaced.

Given how memory hungry even Chrome has gotten, having the option to have 32gb of RAM these days is grand and this went into the HP Omen 15 I have easily and was auto recognised at being capable of running at the 2666 speed. It just works and with RAM, that's all I am after!

Arrived early and well packaged. Clicked into my laptop straight away and worked without and issues. Used to upgrade a laptop with only 4gb of ram and this was the perfect cheap upgrade. Would recommend to anyone who wanted to upgrade a laptop quickly

I am not very familiar with PC hardware, so take this review with a bit of salt.The RAM works perfectly fine so far that I've had it for a week. I can run multiple high end apps such as Adobe Premier Pro and CSGO at the same time.

...the BIOS setting for the RAM, is pegged at 2400MHz and so, unless Dell release a BIOS update that enables it to make use of the extras speed, there's really no advantage in installing/buying this.Still, having 32GB is great!!
