Yep, it is CAS16 rated at 3200MHz - clue's in the model number - HX432C16FB3K2. Don't know why the description still mentions CL15 but then you can run this at CAS15 at a lower frequency. And this is the thing. According to Typhoon Burner, which is an excellent RAM interrogation tool, you can run this down to CAS10 but it will be at a much lower frequency of 667MHz. Also, one of the XMP profiles is indeed set to CAS15 but this will be at 3000MHz. So, it's all swings and roundabouts. You can reduce the CAS (which you can set in BIOS) but you'll also need to drop your frequency. Conversely, you can try overclocking this up to a higher frequency but you will probably need to up your CAS to 17 or18 depending on what frequency you're going to.Which leads me to my only small gripe with this great RAM, and that's that I don't find it quite as overclockable as some of the Corsair stuff. To be fair though, I've got it running at 3333MHz with all the other timings staying as they're set for the XMP Certified Profile, so at CAS16 etc. With Corsair, I have been able to get a full 200Mhz increase without touching the timings. But, this was a bit cheaper and I'm not too bothered by that extra 67MHz!So, overall, happy enough with these sticks and the price was good when I purchased them. Oh, and they were actually in stock! They look nice too and the heatsinks seem pretty low profile so I don't have an issue with my CPU cooler.I'll enclose a screen dump of the Typhoon read-out for this RAM so you can see what it says.

Kingston HyperX Fury HX432C16FB3K2/16 DIMM DDR4 16 GB Kit (2 x 8 GB) 3200 MHz, CL16 1Rx8, Black, bought direct from Amazon for £61.98.(My motherboard: Gigabyte Z390 Gaming X).When I first installed this, I had the impression it was only going to run at 2400Mhz, but no, it's ok after all.I already have 2 x 8GB Kingston HyperX Fury installed, and they run automatically at 3200Mhz, but the model number is very slightly different (HX432C18FB2K2/16).However, I couldn't find another exact matching pair, so I risked buying these.The first pair are in A1 and B1, so I fitted these new ones in A2 and B2 and restarted the pc, and went into the BIOS, and it was all running at 2400 instead of 3200.:(I changed the XMP setting from disabled to Profile 1, but it still only showed the first pair at 3200, and the new pair at 2400, so the system would only run at the lower speed.However, after a restart and then going into the BIOS again, the full 3200Mhz showed for all 4 sticks :)So, as other reviewers have said, set your XMP to Profile 1. But in addition to that, before assuming it has not worked, save and exit, restart pc, and go back into the BIOS, and hopefully the change will then be correctly registered.I don't know how many games will actually use this extra RAM, but if flight sims like DCS and hopefully MSFS2020 benefit from it, then it's worth the outlay. I think this is good value at £62.

Memory has come a long way in the last 5 years when I built my computer. These sticks are DDR4, which were extremely expensive back just a few years ago which goes to show how volatile the price of memory can be. DDR4 sticks of a similar nature would be at least double the price back then.One thing to remember, is that DDR4 sticks need a new motherboard to take advantage with XMP support meaning you no longer need to tweak BIOS timing settings for your RAM. As long as this feature is enabled, then the motherboard will automatically set the values and utilise the maximum speed your systems supports. This leads to faster speeds overall that you may notice during RAM intensive scenarios such as caching game textures.The sticks look good.There are a variety of the similar sticks with the HyperX branding that light up in use, but these do not. A bit chunkier than some RAM sticks wit hthe heatsinks, but should go in no problems. After that, it's just RAM at the end of the day, so don't expect as much difference as upgrading your SSD or videocard.

The memory most likely works fine in other systems, but I bought this specifically for a Dell Alienware R8 i7 9700K and I'm having the same issues that I had when I upgraded to a similar set of HyperX Fury with a lower speed. Main issue off the bat is the random freezes then all my monitors going black, when the monitors come back on after 4 seconds on 3 of the 4 Monitors come back on. Once the freeze happens I have to unplug and plug back in the 4th monitor. The next issue is the audio will go out and will only come back with a restart. None of this happens if you use the Ram that comes with the system from Dell. I've tried both XMP profiles in the bios and each profile gives you a different issue.I'm typing all this because I know there is alot people looking to upgrade their Alienware at a good price without having to shell an extra $300 with dell. Moral of the story is build the computer yourself and use this memory, or buy the Alienware from Dell with the max memory upgrades so their responsible for any issues that arise.

Would that my own memory was this solid, but then we all forget things now and anon. Put 'em on my Asus Z490 mobo; my 'puter is FAST now. Used to take Bluestacks almost a minute to load - now it takes all of six seconds. Everything is faster, and it's really nice to find parts on Amazon/Best Buy/Newegg, etc., where you have a choice of NOT having to pay the most expensive price for the same article, be it memory, a processor, the mobo, whatever. I got my system built without a hitch. 'Cept, no new graphics card; maybe I'm not gullible or stupid enough to pay $1400.00 for a $600.00 graphics card. Why do people do this? Scarf up all the parts they can, then double the price and more, and hey,let's sell 'em on Ebay! Vote with your wallet, as is said, and DON'T pay it! Be patient and get one at a reasonable price from the mfgr. Thanks, & sorry for the diatribe.

The best thing one can say about a bit of computer kit is nothing, really. In other words you fit it and it performs well and you forget about it.And this RAM is a case in point. A familiar part and of course very necessary. The price vs performance was in the sweet spot for my budget and I recognised the name which, goes someway to giving some confidence.16 GB (2x8) isn't exactly exotic today, but it's plenty for doing intensive computer operations like Photoshop which, this PC is used for. Gamers inevitably will want more and perhaps those doing graphical video, although I'm sure this would be sufficient.Super well made with incorporated heatsink that is also a bit of a visual thing as well if having a PC with a clear side cover and lots of LED's are your thing.Overall,solid value for money and so far works as described.

Ignore the negative reviews, including the one which is marked as helpful by so many others. People writing these reviews and complaining that the RAM is 2400 Mhz have no knowledge of how modern memory dies are made and what an XMP setting is.Modern RAM sticks are designed to run at a much lower frequency out of the box to ensure maximum compatibility across different boards. These RAM sticks are also often labelled as XMP ready, like this HyperX model.In order to run your memory at rated speed of 3200 Mhz, you need to go to your BIOS and set the memory XMP profile to Profile 1.Once you do this, it will run at C16 3200Mhz. This particular model from HyperX is really good for the price as I was able to even tighten the timings using Ryzen DRAM calculator.It's an excellent choice for the price.

I've got this RAM alongside 2x16GB Corsair Vengence modules, for a total of 48GB RAM. I've got an AMD 2700X processor and the RAM is currently clocked at 2933 MHz. It's all working perfectly. To be fair their really isn't much between the two sets of modules. The heat syncs on the HyperX ram are nice and the modules fitted into the board very easily.There are some interesting features such as the Intel XMP feature, but I'm using an AMD CPU so I can't comment on how well it works. The CAS Latencies are 15,16.I've given it 4 stars as it does appear to be at the top end of the cost for RAM at the moment. Perhaps if you are building a PC with the latest Intel Processors then it would be worth it,but if you are building an AMD one then I'm not sure that the additional cost comes with much benefit.

What you have here is two sticks of 8gb of RAM, which is fine for the moment, although obviously looking forward a lot of motherboards have only two slots so if you think you'll ever need more than 16gb (unlikely surely) then you're limiting your options on expansion. Then again at this price - maybe you shouldn't care.DDR4 has been around a while now, so most newer PCs will take it, and luckily the timings and stuff mean a lot less now than they used to - its pretty much plug and play to the most of us, and tweakable to the rest of us, but do make sure your bios isn't on some slow mode like "safe boot" or something daft, it should otherwise be able to work it out.I had no issues at all with the RAM.It's working just fine.

Works good with AMD Processor and B550 Motherboard. Base frequency is less but can be overclocked by default to 3200MHz by selecting XMP 2 profile in Bios. If XMP is not supported manual overclocking maybe required to get to 3200MHz. Has default CAS latecy of 16 18 18 at 3200MHz. No bluescreen or any other memory issue observed.Its heatsink works well to keep it cool. Got two random ones and they work perfectly in dual channel. Very basic one with no RGB etc. This is a very good option in 3200Mhz budget segment.Not sure if this can be safely overclocked beyond default 3200MHz, as there are separate models of hyperx fury with different Mhz

The HyperX FURY DDR4 memory kit's special feature is its ability to auto-overclock up to 3466 MHz. The XMP facility allows the motherboard to set the appropriate values without having to manually tweak the BIOS. This will obviously be of great help to many people, but XMP is not favoured by all and some people find it flaky, but it's not essential to the proper function of the memory so it's a matter of personal choice.Certainly for those who use the latest high end Intel Processor I would recommend these. They don't come cheap but you get plenty of bang for your buck with these cutting edge DDR4 modules.

I bought an Alienware Aurora R11 with an Intel i9 processor in September 2020 + figured I would replace the 8 GB memory it shipped with with 64 GB of this. It... did not quite work at the time. It worked on either JEDEC or XMP 2, but when I set the PC to XMP 1, it froze, sometimes loading BIOS, sometimes at the Windows Hello screen, sometimes after a minute or two later in Windows 10, version 2004. In short... not great!Finally, though, Alienware shipped BIOS 1.0.3 in November. After installing that, this memory is working great set to XMP 1. Rock solid, stable, no problems at all.

I'm super happy with the RAM I purchased. I'll admit I was slightly worried that something in my Alienware Aurora setup might have prevented me from installing all four modules, but when the RAM finally arrived it was a cinch to install and had no issues at all.Upon first boot up I had to confirm that I had changed my hardware at the BIOS screen, but after that Windows recognized the 64Gb without issue.It's been about a month since I purchased and installed the RAM and have not experienced any system stability issues, so I'm really happy with my purchase.

I bought 4 x 16 GB of these, replacing the original 32GB HyperX(FM) FURY 2933mhz ones on board. At first, when turned it on BIOS, it was recognized as 3000mhz, then I changed the XMP to profile 1, and saved/exit. Then it gave me the 4 flashing yellow!!, so I had to cut the power and manually restart it again to BIOS, then it was recognized at 3200 mhz just fine. Windows then booted without issues. and so far it seems stable to me, and command center showing memory running at 3192 mhz, so I think upgrade to 64 GB/ 3200mhz is done successfully.

Just got my Alienware R11 and neglected to select the 32GB option, and due to the system's supported memory configurations, I need 2x16GB, I could not install 4x8GB.Key Note: My system does support 3200mMhz, but my ram speed tops at 2933MHz. Must be somewhere in the settings to surpass this speed but I am not complaining, the average consumer wouldn't notice the difference in performance.UPDATE: Went into the bios and found the Memory Mode, had to change it from XMP2 to XMP1, now my memory is running at 3200MHz.
