The perfume is a nice daytime scent. It’s summery and flowery and also a little fruity, and very light. Not a heavy, overpowering perfume. A perfect perfume for summer. The scent does last quite a few hours, but needs a quick squirt again at lunch to get it through the rest of the day. I don’t pretend to be able to pick out the different scents within the perfume but I can smell citrus and flowers of some type in there. I wish I knew what, because it is a lovely smell. I’ve never really worn Hugo Boss perfume, apart from one type which I really liked. I’m currently loyal to one perfume I really like and pretty much wear it day in and day out, have for years.

This is my first time using a Hugo Boss fragrance & I certainly wasn’t disappointed at trying the new BOSS The Scent Private Accord for Her eau de parfum! The bottle & packaging is lovely & the colour gives a hint as to the fragrance - cocoa. When the perfume first hit my skin it had quite a deep warm scent of chocolate with a hint of vanilla. But it wasn’t too sweet or sickly and instead it was subtle & inviting! I recieved lots of compliments from colleagues asking what perfume I was wearing. The BOSS The Scent Private Accord for Her wasn’t overpowering & as the day went on I thought the scent became slightly floral with a hint of citrus.

When it comes to perfume I tend to go for a more floral fruity smell. I have to say I wouldn’t usually pick a perfume like this, however, I’ve been pleasantly surprised and it has definitely grown on me. The perfume comes packaged in a lovely box and the bottle itself looks very sophisticated. The lid is a bit on the chunky side, I’m not sure what the designers were thinking, however, it is very easy to get on and off.On spraying the perfume on I instantly can smell the Cocoa in it rather then the sweet mandarin and Osmanthus flower as stated on the box. The perfume has a very rich strong smell to it. In fact when first spraying it on it does seem to be overwhelmingly strong in scent. However,

I've been really impressed with this perfume so far. Not only does the bottle look luxurious and sleek with the angled gold lid, but it smells luxurious. I would say it is more on the lines of a sweet floral scent, but unlike a lot of floral scents it isn't musky and is extremely pleasant. I found the scent to last through the day even when getting hot and sweaty at work when I got home I could still smell the perfume 8 hours after putting it on. I also found just 2-3 squirts to be just the right amount to use so the smell isn't overpowering but so it lasts, therefore I believe the bottle will last quite some time even with daily use.

When I first opened BOSS the scent private accord I immediately was taken by how stunning the bottle was, contrasted with the gold lid it truly looked uber luxurious. As I proceeded to spritz myself I continued to be amazed by how much of a gorgeous smell this one bottle of greatness could bring. It had a kind of sweet smell to it mixed with other scents which together created something which is suitable for any occasion. I find that the fragrance lasts almost all day which is a very positive aspect and my partner who never normally notices what perfume I’m wearing actually commented and said that it smells nice. All in all this is a lovely fragrance that I’m sure will continue to take pride of place on my dressing table.

But I surprised to find I loved it and even my husband who doesn’t usually notice these things said what’s that your wearing you smell nice which is a big compliment from him he even went as far as to take note of the name for a anniversary gift I found it not sickly sweet but just the right amount i use it everyday and get compliments in the office a few even asked to try it and the name so I’m not not the only converter to it.

I don't usually tend to buy this brand due to the scents usually being so strong and overpowering. But this is totally different. It has a sweet and romantic elegance. Not at all overpowering. I love it!!!I feel that this can be worn either day or night and for any occasion.The only negative is that it isn't a long lasting fragrance. I was only able to smell it at full strength for about 1 hour. After that I could smell a light scent for up to 3 hours. So you would need to frequently reapply.I have had a lot of positive compliments while wearing this and friends wanting a spray. I would definitely recommend, and will be buying again.Oh! And the bottle is stunning, beautiful rose gold packaging.

I wasn’t expecting much to be honest as I don’t normally go for Boss fragrance, I’m more of a floral kind of girl.Anyway first impressions- the packaging was nice, subtle & feminine. Loved the actual bottle- the unique lid was appealing to me.When I first tried it I wasn’t too sure, it felt a bit heavy, especially in this hot weather. However the more I have worn it, the more I like it. It has desfiniteky grown on me & I have had compliments about it. Overall I like it, not sure I would buy it for myself, however I would be happy if someone else bought it for me as a gift. I think it’s more suited to being a winter perfume so will probably wear it more in that season.
