This is an excellent phone that is easy to use at a budget friendly price. With msot smart phones being at least £100 plus these days, I was thrilled to find a Huawei at a price that I could afford after hearing how reliable they are.I use my phone for texts, calls, social media, and mobilke banking. I have found that the fingerprint scanner adds an extra layer of security for me so far as my mobile banking is concerned. I felt like a spy or some sort of futuristic space station employee when setting up the scanner and using it for the first time! I've never had one before (can you tell?) but I am thrilled to bits with how well it works and how safe it has made my personal details feel.

It arrived quickly and set up was really easy. I was a bit dubious as there was very little information in the instruction booklet. I was able to insert the sim card (after getting help on u-tube) I was trying to fit it in the wrong way round. Once I turned it on there was step by step set-up instructions. I was even able to copy over most of the contents of my old phone (how clever is that?) I took a photo to see what it was like and it is very clear - much better than my old phone. I did have to download a few apps that didn't transfer over. The speed was quick. It came with 70% power and I did all the set-up and transfer of files it was still on 65%. I did charge it after that and it got to 100% really quickly.

I've been dragged into the 21st century kicking and screaming with this phone. I had an old original Nokia that was 17+ years old, what's wrong with that I ask?! But I gave in and bought this phone and I have to say, it's brilliant and I now wouldn't be without it!! I'm sure I don't use half of it's functions because I don't have a 5 year old to show me how to use it, but what I do use is superb. The battery life is great although I don't have it hooked up to the internet all the time and turn it off completely at night, but only have to charge it every 2-4 days, depending on how much I use it. I can now Whatsapp which is great fun, take good photos, text as much as I like (I'm like a teenager so my husband says!!)

I've always used the most recent Samsung flagships, but I recently lost my S10+ and needed a cheaper phone to tide me over until I can upgrade to the S20 Ultra. While this phone can't really compete with the powerhouses on the market, it represents amazing value for money, and it will do everything that you need it to do without breaking your bank. It has a clear, crisp display, a brilliant battery life, and it runs with with minimal lag. The rear camera is shockingly good considering the price point, although the front camera leaves a lot to be desired. The fingerprint sensor works perfectly, and if you're concerned about security, this particular Huawei device is Play Protect certified.

For £100 i am pretty impressed.2gig ram 32gig storage 6.1 inch screen. Thin and light, i bought this for my G.Daughter who is nearly 8.She only really uses it for tiktok and playing roblox and she loves it, compared to the samsung s5 i gave her there is no contest.No fingerprint Sensor but does have facial recognition, but that's sketchy at the best of times.You can put an sd card in a well, although huawei phones don't let you transfer apps or install apps on to them, i think you can save photos and videos on to the sd directly and transfer them though.All in allFor the price it was either this or and honor 8s do at the time you can do alot worse

After years with I phones I decided on a change. I wished I’d changed years ago. This phone is awesome, a nice HD 6 inch plus screen. The finger print reader is much better than the iPhone, works first time every time. Camera is awesome too. Not being controlled by everything Apple is wonderful. I’m in my 60s and have found loading everything afresh quite easy, only having a problem with my iCloud email, can’t remember my email password so I might just forget that one, not worth the stress. Managed my other email accounts very easily.I must say, I have only had the phone since Saturday (2 days) but I am more than happy with it, well worth the 5 stars.

This review is only covering upgrade from an older phone. If you are considering an upgrade you might be worried about the hastle, worry not.The new phone arrived with 45% charge. Switched on I was asked if I wanted to clone an earlier phone.Without setting up WiFi or Data I just had to install Phone Clone app on the old phone, follow the prompts and job done. Well 90% anyway.It reported unsupported Apps and noted which these were. A quick install and everything was ready. Of course I then have to log in to each App on turn. After that it was just a question of learning its systems.

I am not a technie nerd so only wanted a basic item and it seems to do everything I want it to. Nice size and photos are really good quality. Only thing I am not keen on is all the security info required. I just want a phone that can send texts and emails and I can phone someone on, the rest is intrusive and I feel is unnecessary !! Then again I am not into loads of gadgets that are linked by accounts. Absolute nightmare for me when I forget a password to Google, Chrome or Microsoft ! I don't understand how they work and don't want my info everywhere !! Other than that, a nice phone !

I really like this phone it is very clear, is easy to use and works very well. I think for the money it is a real bargain and I don't know why anyone would want to spend more when you can get a phone of this quality for the price.The camera also takes great pictures and the battery life is really good.It has face recognition which usually works well except perhaps when it is fairly dark.The keyboard is a little small for me after the last phone I had a Moto G4 but I am getting used to it now and is not really a problem.Overall I would rate it a great phone

I was looking for a a first phone for my son and after checking some phone shops they all recommended the Y6 if I was looking for something under £100.It seems like an excellent phone from from my use of it and he is really impressed with it. My wife has a Huawei P10 lite which she really likes but she thinks this one is a better phone. I think hers cost a bit more too, though it is a year or so older.For a phone under £100. I think this would be hard to beat. I've bought other cheaper brands for my parents in the past and it hasn't been worth it.

Only arrived yesterday, bought as a back up for my Samsung. Auto transfer of all my contacts, photos, music etc. I'm not exactly a technophile (i'm nearly 70) but I am getting to grips with this quite quickly. It's beautiful to handle, great 6" screen and very decent photo and video quality. Wide range of text sizes to help us more visually challenged.Don't know durable it will prove or care if all my state secrets are shared with the Chinese government. It seems a great budget level smartphone to me.

I needed a new phone without spending a fortune or tying myself to an expensive contract. I decided to go for this Huawei Y6s as it hads an octa-core processor, good screen size, I'm not too fussed about the camera and the one it has is adequate and it has Android 9.0. The perfomance on this phone is great, smooth, responsive and quick and I like Huawei's EMUI interface, easy to use and user friendly. Battery life is fine and all in all it's a Great phone at a Great Price!

I have to say this is an amazing phone for the price. If anyone is tired of spending 500 plus on the latest smartphone and wants an affordable phone then this is the one for you. I must also mention that the battery life is incredible. I've come home from work after 10+ hours with a battery life of 80+% after frequent use and 4G on all day, including the use of social media and a few YouTube videos at lunch. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Brilliant phone. Ended up buying one for bothy nine year old and my mother in law as I'm the one left to sort them. Easy to use for both of them very user friendly . Easy to set up great sound for the deaf mother in-law as well.battery life great , daughter on it all weekend running videos etc and only needs charged every two days . Fab camera and tons of apps to keep daughter happy Connects to all WiFi easily. Would recommend

Great size screen, very slim, has the eye drop, but this can be turned off but I've got used to it already once set up and running it's a real bargain for the price with 32gb storage and 3gb ram, very slim and the battery lasts very well. Thought it may have come with a gel case rather than the headphones, but overall it's great, just needs Android 9, as still on Android 8 which I believe it will get in the near future.
