Is it easy to use? Yes, take the phone out of its case (!!) and rest it on the pogo pins. The phone charges and the built-in speakers sound better that the one on the phone.Is it well designed? No, you need to take the phone out of its case ... Also, a USB connection to sync to a PC would have been nice.Is it good value? Yes, if you only pay £5 like I did. I believe the original price of these was £50, which is a rip-off.

The dock itself is good but it was let down by HTC One X smartphone bug that always outputs the sound at maximum volume. Annoying indeed. After research on internet I found that this but occurred with the latest system update Android 4.2 pushed out by HTC, with no way of rolling back to 4.1 :(
