Really happy with this car charger. Looks fantastic! When looking at this device before receiving it, it looked pretty small and this is no lie. When I plugged it into my F-150, it went all the way leaving you enough room to be able to take it out. Starting with the exterior, it has a really nice glossy finish with Anker branding running across the side and where the two usb port are, there is a handy LED indicator. The red band going around gives it a stylish and expensive look. As said in the title, it is VERY compact. The build material is high quality and should last you a long time.Normally I use this device with one other cable plugged in and it works great.

I have purchased several types of these double socket chargers in the past, usually the least expensive I can find. Each one eventually failed due to either the electronics giving up, the plastic housing splitting or the design being poor and ill fitting in the 12V socket.I thought I would spend a little more this time and see if the extra couple of pounds would yield an increase in quality. When this little beauty arrived I was extremely impressed. The packaging was very professional and aesthetically pleasing. The unit inside looked great in a really tough and hefty plastic housing. The size is perfect for the 12V socket on both of my cars.In use there is a nice LED on the device which lets you know it is working.

I received this 2 days ago and my first impression was that it was a very well made device, the black with red trim design is nice and the finish is very good.The unit comes in typical Anker style with minimal packaging but well designed and well packaged. The unit is also fairly small for a dual USB unit, it doesn't sit as flush as a single USB unit but is still pretty good. I also noticed that it slides in and out of the socket very easily compared to two other units I have that are very hard to remove.The product page for this claims to output 5V / 4.8A / 24W (each port limited to 2.4A / 12W each).

Hi,As this was to be a Birthday present for my husband, I thought I would buy this car charger as a starting point, to see how well it worked.As we are iPhone 6 users I didn't want the charger to mess with the cars mechanics as has happened to lots of people before, including my brother. If it turns out to be good, it would be a good buy and a bonus !! I read all the reviews, on lots of similar products, and this one seemed the best of the bunch....My husband loved it ! It charged quickly, and was small and well made. He was so impressed we also bought the Anker 6ft braided USB cable x2 !! And then got another car charger with connected USB 12 v. This had the cable connected which we didn't realise before opening it,

Doesn't do anything in our car. Total rubbish.UPDATE 21/10:Anker contacted me and offered to send me a newer version of the charger for free to try, which they did.I am happy to say, the newer replacement (which looks like their PowerDrive Elite model) works fine in our car. I noted that the angle of the unit towards the tip is much steeper than the original item, so it is likely the original simply did not reach the bottom connector of the socket in our car (BMW).Thank you Anker, and the rating is changed to 5 stars for the new item and customer support.Danny.

Unfortunately this product did not work in my car - ('98 Renault Clio for reference). However Anker were excellent in getting a replacement sent out that would work in my car. They had to send a different version in order for it to work and it now works perfectly. Although the product didn't work initially Anker's customer service was excellent and they were very keen to get a replacement sent out as soon as possible. I don't recommend this product if you own a 98 Clio, but I highly recommend Anker.

A friend of mine recommended Anker products as he knew i was looking at car chargers. This was very well packaged and is all recyclable which is great. The product is small but powerful and is well made and has no problems charging my iPhone 6 and my daughters Samsung Galaxy phones at the same time whilst we are on journeys in the car. I am yet to try charging my iPad but I am sure it wouldn't be a problem. I will defiantly buying Anker products in the future

Great value product that has consistently worked effectively for over a year where similar products I have previously purchased have always had a much sorter life span. The double USB slot helps (obviously) charge two items at once which is particularly useful on a long journey as one mobile phone is always being used for sat-nav. The light can be slightly distracting when driving at night but an otherwise effective and practical item.

I thought I would spend a little more to get a better quality product, as I had previously had a single port charger which broke quickly. So far happy with this having used it in an Alfa, a VW Golf, a VW Passat on various journeys. It sits firmly in the socket and stays put when you plug in cables into either or both USB slots.High quality - recommend this for long term use. Just don't leave it in the hire car!

Fantastic product with helpful blue indicator light to tell you when the product is on or not. Fits snugly into the cigarette lighter of my Toyota Aygo. Using to charge iPhone 6 while using google maps to drive without any issues. Would recommend. I will consider anker products more seriously when making future purchases as well.

Arrived on the day specified, the packaging was surprisingly good I expected a plastic bag but it came in its own cardboard box, good fit in the car not loose at all looked really good and doesn't protrude to far out, not interfering with the general use of the car, would highly recommend to anyone considering buying one.

Having left a review regarding this purchase, unfortunately stating this model did not fit well in my Honda Civic, Anker emailed me offering the 48W 4-Port USB Car Charger free of charge, and not requiring the 2 port to be returned. This model works brilliantly. So for customer service it's 5 stars.

A Really great car usb charger!The charger looks great and the design of the usb itself is great - its able to fit in two usb ports without looking to bulky.The charge times are also quite fast which is great especially if you're doing short journeys and need a quick charge in between!

This is a great in car charger. It feels as if it has more power than some other chargers - my phone charges much more quickly. The dual port is really handy as you can charge more than one phone at once, or can charge your sat nav at the same time as your phone.Highly recommended

Required a bit of wiggling to get it to work in my 2002 Ford Focus but now installed and working perfectly. Unlike the (albeit smaller) Aukey car charger, the Anker doesn't interfere with my DAB reception whatsoever, so for that reason alone it's well worth a fiver!
