This is a great accessory for my Blackberry 9780. As previous reviews have said, dropping your Blackberry into this pod turns it into a bedside / desktop clock whilst still retaining the ability to take calls / messages etc. It looks good, a sort of smoked chrome finish with a cool dim LED glowing at the back of the device (which isn't obtrusive if using it as a bedside charger / clock). It is well made and as far as I can tell a genuine Blackberry product (without Blackberry's prices!). The thing I like the most is that there is no force required to put your phone into it, the phone simply rests in the charger. I like it so much I'm going to order another one to sit on my desk at work.

I'd been looking around at a few different options for Blackberry docks and i have to say this one is great.I thought it would be made of plastic but to my surprise it has a chrome metal construction with a sturdy rubber non slip base and is a genuine blackberry accessory.I use it to put my Blackberry in at night on the bedside table and it makes it very easy to see the screen and charge my device at the same time as i often use my Blackberry as an alarm clock.You literally take it out the box, plug your existing charger than came with the phone in the back, and job done. It even has a little LED indicator to show you the power is on....what more could you need....Love it :)

As the previous reviews highlighted this is a superb bit of kit, you can leave this pod on your desk or bedside table drop your Blackberry (mine is the 9780) into the pod and hey presto a charging smart phone, ready for action all the time, the clock display and able to screen calls easily is a bonus to the superb looking accessory, why blackberry do not include this with the original package I am not sure.The retailer delivered promptly and reasonably packaged, was not sure if the description and the claim of being compatible with my 9780 were correct but am glad I went ahead with the purchase, must have original Blackberry accessory for the style aware out there!

I have used the BB charging pods at work since my first for my Blackberry Bold 9000.I have lots of expensive kit on my desk, iPad2, Sony Laptop etc; and the one thing everyone comments on is this one piece of kit!Put your BB in it, and it looks like an executive desk clock, I actually make a point of shining my BB on my trousers before putting it in for that extra sparkle.The only downside is the lack of syncing with my laptop whilst I charge, so essentially I end up with two USB cables stuck out of the thing breaking the aesthetics a bit. That said, it really is excellent for the price, and nothing i've owned, Apple of otherwise has come close.

Very happy with this item, as others have said it works a treat and securely holds your blackberry in place until you need it.One feature that most people probably don't know about is if you take it out the holster to answer a call, by placing it back into the dock whilst still on the phone it automatically puts your phone on speakerphone mode. Then when you remove it again, it puts it back onto "handset". Very helpful!One thing I would say is I find it charges your Blackberry slightly slower than directly connecting it via the cable. This might just be my mind playing tricks on me however and it really doesn't make that much of a difference.

I liked this so much on my desk that I bought another two, for my bedside table and for my ever-ready overnight bag kit. It holds my BB Bold at a perfect angle for viewing on my desk whilst quietly charging it. It looks smart and is pleasing to the eye. The only think I don't personally like is the LED on the back. This emits a glow behind the BB which I don't like at night -I like total darkness. If you like to be able to see where the BB is, or to have a little light at night, then it's perfect. I dealt with the light with a small piece of black PVC insulating tape -now no glow.This is a nice accessory.

If you are like me, unless there is something flashing infront of your face, then getting the USB charger was always forgotten and phone died a few days later. Now it's literally there infront of my face, an empty dock at my desk. Sit down to work and your drawn to the empty dock, compelled to fill it. Blackberry fits in snug and the reassuring clock On the blackberry display appears during charge, another bonus to the dock is you actually see the clock. Unlike iPods and the like this is a great dock. It fits the phone perfect with no pushing into pins or anything complicated. great kit for such a low price

I had recently upgraded my phone to a Blackberry and we managed to get an additonal BB for my good lady, so I was looking for an easy charger and somewhere to safely put our phones at night so we always knew where they were the next morning!!I bought 2 of these chargers and they are both brilliant! Only very small, very well packaged and they have a small light on the charger so when one of us comes to bed later than the other, we can find the chargers in the dark!!Every Blackberry user should get one of these - the designs are really good too!!Highly recommended!!

the product is a very well made and designed product, it works very well and fits the blackberry perfectly. the only downside i have, as i use a aluminium case on my blackberry every time i want to charge it i have to take it off. but its a small price to pay for saving my phone from getting damaged by the original charging method, as proved by many owners already.also i ordered this product 2 days ago, via standard delivery therefore the expected arrival date was for the 15th onwards, and i got it today, on the 12th. which i think is amazing!!!

This is a very well-made product that enables you to charge your 9700 without constantly plugging/unplugging the micro USB connector. My biggest niggle with the 9700 is that the force required to insert that connector is going to cause damage sooner or later, and the charging pod eliminates that possibility. My pod is permanently connected to my computer, and I give my phone a couple of hours in it every few days.The drawback is that you have to remove your phone from its case to use the charging pod, but I guess you can't have everything.

This is a great little gadget which compliments my 9780 very well. Mine doesnt have a blue/white light for some reason which a few people have stated, the blackberry doesnt sit perfectly comfortable but it wont fall out. Nice to see the clock as soon as you drop the phone in no fumbling around half asleep to check the time. It also looks a bit cheaply made with an unequal gap around the front where the silver bezel meets the black plastic around the top edge which questions whether it is genuine, but for the price i am happy. Great buy.

Now this is a great product -- Just what I had been looking for.Its late at night, you've just come in, and you cant find the end of your charger?Well with this the charger plugs into the back and sits on your bedside, just throw it on there and boom its charging!If you set the right settings (Bedside mode on your blackberry) you can have it so it dims the screen so you can use it as a bedside alarm clock! (Quick tip, when the alarm is going off press the lock button to snooze)Great product, Great Price, Where can you go wrong?

Well, this is the first time I'm using Amazon so had certain trepidation since I am originally from India, based now in Paris and was requesting the product be delivered to a friends address in the U.K.However was pleasantly surprised to receive the product bang on schedule, packed adequately and the contents exactly as described.The reviews helped me to decide on purchasing the same and it's working wonderfully well.The best part is that it costs a fraction of the price I would regularly pay in an authorised showroom here in Paris.

My Phone charging female pin was damaged/mis-alignment and the charger male could be insert for charge.This charging pod saved the day and the need to buy another phone with all the unsual negatives - losing contacts, text history, email and text numbers (that were not saved in SIM) card.for under £20, its an excellent 2nd charger for all with its docking station - no need to look around for your phone to check if has messages or missed call. Simply place it on your desk and you wont miss a call for whilst its charging on standby!

This is such a great product, all you need to do is plug your charger, or usb cable from the computer into the back of the device and simply place your blackberry on the pod, the two connections on the side will charge your phone!i find this so useful im thinking of buying another!it came in original blackberry packaging and has a dim light to help find it in the dark with a lovely chrome look finish to it!it holds the phone at a slight angle and is also perfect for watching videos etc without holding it!buy one now!! :)
