Update: Ankers excellent customer service reps contacted me following my feedback on the cable, apologised and sent me a replacement improved 3ft cable. Well Done Anker, excellent service!!!I have bought numerous Anker products and have always rated them highly and recommended them to friends and podcasts listeners.. The Anker car phone charger however isn't the complete 5 star product I wanted it to be...The packaging as always is excellent from Anker, the car adapter is the right size, feels excellent quality and the dual USB ports are great with brilliant charge speeds on my iPhone 6S. The supplied cable however by Anker's own standards is very poor. It just feels thin,

I bought this as I have other anker products and thought I would give it a try and see if it lives up to the claims. I have used other car chargers in the past and they seem to only trickle feed the charge as if your using the phone like sat nav the battery still drains as the power being supplied is not enough. The charger is well built and works as it should. I plugged iphone in and used the sat nav feature for a short drive, about 20 minutes and the phone battery percentage was higher than before so supplies enough power. There is 2 ports but I have only ever used one port but would assume if you had 2 devices plugged in it would still work as it should. Good price for type of product,

***UPDATE 10/02/16: I was contacted by Anker who were very apologetic and offered advice and support in rectifying the issue. It turns out the cable was at fault not the charger and they happily sent a replacement cable of a different model. I'm back to being able to charge my phone in my car again and really quickly. So I'm back to believing this is a 5 star product ******UPDATE: AFTER 6 MONTHS OF USE IT NO LONGER CHARGES AND I GET THIE ERROR MESSAGE. THAT THIS IS NOT A CERTIFIED APPLE PRODUCT. DISAPPOINTED AS I WOULD HAVE EXPECTED IT TO LAST LONGER THAN THAT AND THOUGHT IT WAS AN APPLE CERTIFIED PRODUCT. I AM DOWNGRADING TO TWO STARS FOR THAT REASON***______________________________________Charges really quickly and seems more durable than previous car chargers I have bought.

Great price for a great item! I was looking at this item for a few days before actually making the move to purchase it and only now I sit back and think why the f#*k didn't I order it before hand? I used to have a Belkin usb car charger and boy, it was slow, it used to take about 10 minutes to charge like 1% it was a nightmare! When I received the product it was neatly wrapped and looked as if a lot of thought had been put into wrapping it. The charger itself charges amazingly fast, its crazy! The charger actually charges faster than my apple wall plug for my phone. The lightning cable that is supplied is also definitely MFI certified and is 100x better than the Apple lightning cable,

I've gone through quite a few car chargers over the years, usually upgrading due to having a more power demanding phone. After reading other people's reviews of this one I decided to spend a few quid more than I would normally do on a charger and try this one.This charger is fantastic. On its own it really does rapidly charge my iPhone 6 plus. Even while using the GPS and spotify and a USB Bluetooth car audio adapter it still outputs enough power to charge the phone at a pretty good rate.Would definitely recommend.

A really, really good unit. Never heard of Anker before. Packaging was first hint of good things to come. A cross between Apple and Kindle packaging. Classy minimalist vibe. The USB charger is the fastest one I've come across. Have a tried a few different ones over the years. This one is really excellent. Doesn't heat up, doesn't have a distracting LED. It just works.The Lightning cable materials look like very good quality. Works - no Apple errors.An excellent package and have no problem recommending.

I needed a car charger for the iphone, I didn't want the cheap ones available elsewhere but didn't want to pay the Apple prices. So the MFI certified ones are the best bet. You cannot tell the difference between this and the Apple one. It was delivered quickly, packaged really well (boxed like a premium product), fits like it should even with a case on and works perfectly. At this price it's as good as it gets. Excellent and highly recommended. I also bought a spare cable which is the same quality.!

Received an Anker power pack as a gift last year - very impressed with it, so when i was in the market for a car charger there was only one brand i was interested in. I'm aware you can buy these a lot cheaper in supermarkets but the build quality and neat design of the Anker is worth the extra few quid. Loved the packaging too, very Apple-Esque and premium feeling.No problems with the charger, neatly plugs in, secure, tidy and does the job.Very happy.

I had never heard about the Anker brand until I took a punt on one their IPAD mini screen protectors, it turned out to be excellent quality and this car charger is no different. It's Apple certified so it won't stop working like some other cheap chargers on the market. It's made of high quality plastics and is not very big so doesn't stick out too far from the dashboard. It's got 2 USB ports for whatever you might need it for m. Great charger.

I've bought some third party chargers in the past which lasted for a couple months. This Anker dual port USB charger is definitely worth a few extra quid. It feels much better quality and so far hasn't given me any problems. Most importantly it charges quickly even when using sat nav concurrently, which is something none of my previous chargers had been able to do. I'll definitely be buying from Anker again for third party Apple chargers.

Great charger. My old one didn't have the output for my iPhone 6 so needed a replacement. The 2 ports are a real bonus and I've had my phone and an iPad on charge at the same time with no issues. Small form factor is great and the included cable is top quality. My last third party cable was a bit tight and needed a hard push to get in. This one just clicks in like the original one.

I bought a cheaper one first. It worked fine but didn't fit snuggly into the cigarette lighter socket. I had to keep putting rubber bands round it to hold it in place. Enough! I've got quite a few Anker products. All have been excellent - first class quality and cheaper than the (overpriced) Apple options or equivalent. This one too. Works perfectly. No problem

makes such a nice change to find a quality accessory for an iphone at a reasonable price. Better made than a belkin charger that I had been using (before it fell apart!). Have purchased several anker accessories and all have been good - the quality of the lightning cable is particularly good - puts the original apple cable to shame. Highly recommended.

I bought this with the cable for my car and it is so useful. My phones battery life is awful and there are many times when I may need to charge it during the day. I can now do this in my car and it will have at least a bit more charge than before. The charge holds well and it doesn't get flat any quicker than if it had been charged using the mains.

Anker make some great products and this is one of them! Having bought quite a few Anker products I have come to know of their quality and didn't hesitate when it came to buying this. As usual it comes well packaged and the build quality is excellent and its mfi so will work unlike cheaper cables. I would recommend it to anyone.
