I'm really quite pleased with this product - it comes in a small box and comprises the charger (with two USB slots in it - woohoo!) and a Thunderbolt cable which is suitable for iPhone and iPad. It's really simple to use when the car's running - undo the cigarette lighter lid thing and slot the charger straight into it. The green light comes on and you're able to plug in your charger lead and start charging up. Now - it's okay, I think you need a really long journey to charge it up. For a twenty minute journey down the hill and into town, it charged 16% of the battery up, so it's not as fast as it claims. Also, the green light/charge on the phone can be intermittent,

There is no doubting Belkin's quality in this USB C car charger. The charger fits in the cigarette port and has a single USB C port to place a cable in, ready to charge whatever device you buy the cable for. Yes, that's right, despite being around £30, this comes with no USB cable.Now the argument is probably that you may well own an iPhone and want an lightning port on the other end, but most non-iPhones and tablets are beginning to feature USB C charging, so it wouldn't be too much to ask for a single simple cable. Instead, you'll need to order a USB C to USB C or USB C to Lightning cable separately.This niggle aside, the charger works extremely well to charge my Huawei P20 up in a very short time,

As with all Belkin products, this car charger is a high quality, hardwearing device that looks great. Admittedly, cheaper options are available but I have found in the past that cheaper products can be unreliable and difficult to fit in the charging socket of the car – with this Belkin model I had no such problem, it fits beautifully and the dual ports are both easily accessible and hugely convenient. The charger works very efficiently on both my iPhone and iPad too!The Apple (USB A to Lightning) cable is also great - I’ve had similar wires from Belkin in the past, they are sturdy and work effectively with all of my Apple devices. This handy Belkin charger slots into my car cigarette lighter and quickly charges my iPhone 6 and Mini iPad simultaneously. I have 2 x 10 cm long USB/Lightning cables which I find ideal for this purpose. I also carry a longer cable if my passenger wishes to use a mobile while they are charging. A small green LED light illuminates to indicate when the charger is in use and working efficiently. It takes up no space in the glove compartment when not in use. It will prove invaluable to have readily available as it is not just for Apple products. It is universally compatible with other brands. Like other Belkin gear I have purchased over the years, it is beautifully designed and finished and should last a long time.

Quite simply, you can plug two gadgets with their own USB compatible charging cables into this charger and know that they will both be getting charged. Yes, charging to full capacity may take some time but the capability of this unit is amongst the class leaders. Invaluable if you have a sat nav requiring constant charging but also need to top up your smartphone or tablet. Even better is the option that includes a 4 ft iOS compatible Lightning cable. Very useful and not obtrusive when in black. Of course you can also have this unit without the lightning cable.The only regret about this charger is that it only has one led. I would have preferred two with each only lit when a device was connected and charging.

I own a Belkin fast charger for a house power outlet and it's been absolutely superb; much better than my other USB adaptors, so I had a good feeling this would also be a quality product.Now, it is important to note that this product does not come with any cables; so if you're an Android user, you will most likely need a USB-C to USB-C cable; whereas if you are an Apple , you will want to get a USB-C to Lightning cable. I personally was a little disappointed to see no cables included due to the price, especially as at the time of review, these aren't typically the cables you receive with your smartphones.Nevertheless, it's a plug-in and go device that does the job very well.

This is a Belkin branded charger, which whilst not quite having the same look and feel of an Apple own brand product, it will not leave you disappointed with how it performs. For me, the main reason I have been put off non-Apple branded products has been that the fitting of the connections hasn't always been up to par and the quality of the materials used hasn't been as good. Not a problem here, this is a sturdy alternative that has been travelling with me on the road with no problems. Charging is fast and I've not had a problem with loose fittings where cables have come out. Nobody is ever going to mistake this for an Apple product, but if you need a spare to take around with you,

If you use your phone for sat nav like I do, then a cigarette socket charger is pretty much essential for an older car without built in USB. This is one of the better ones I've tried. I like its discrete design with a small green LED to tell you it is working, rather than bathing the cockpit in blue light like others I have tried. I really like how it charges fast as well, some of my other chargers struggle to keep the phone topped up with a battery hungry up like Waze, but this had no problem, even with two phones plugged into the socket.Its a little more expensive than some similar devices but I expect it to be robust and reliable and it has performed well so far.

I had not looked carefully at the description when I ordered this, so when I presented it to my dad, who was the one needing it, we could not actually use it with his phone charger, so I had to go out and find somebody who could help me review and fortunately a friend had the right equipment for it.It works really well to charge, but does get a bit hot.We think the price is too high for what it is and my friend said that he has other equipment in the car that works just as well, but at a much lower price. We of course do not know whether they will last as long, but at the current price of £30, it seems excessive for a standard user that does not spend hours a day in the car.

A great car charger for iPhones and can also be used with other phones if you provide the right cable. It can charge two phones at once, which is handy, but it is not especially quick.The cable is more than long enough for me. I use the elastic band provided to keep excess cable out of the way, but the extra length is handy on occasion when the passenger wants to use their phone while charging.It feels really well made all around, with a nice soft black matt finish to the charger unit.The only slight down side is the length of the charger unit - it is a bit longer than some so has the potential to get in the way if your charging socket is enclosed in some way.

I find it very useful to keep a charger in the car. I have tried a couple, and I am very happy with this charger. I keep it in my glove box and use it on most long journeys.Unike the other chargers I have used, the cable on this one is long enough that it can reach anyone sitting in the back of the car. It charges the phone well. It has 2 USB ports so you can charge two phones at the same time. The charging light is unobtrusive. The light on one of my chargers was like a neon blue so it was quite distracting while driving. Superficially, I like the fact that this charging set is black as it matches my car interior. Would be happy to recommend to a friend!

The Belkin Dual Car Charger does exactly what is says on the box.Slot into the cars power slot & away you go with 2 USB Ports to charge any electrical device that has a USB lead. The Belkin comes with a Lightning Cable so can use this to charge any Apple device that has the Lightning connector. This is a great idea for the cable to come with the Charger so clearly aimed at Apple owners.Well built charger & nice design which fits into the car power port nice & snuggly. Worth it if you own an Apple device just for the benefit of the Lightning Lead, if you don't own an Apple product then I would look at the Charger only option to save yourself ten pounds!

This is great for those long journeys where you need to charge up your phone. Or handy for the daily commute when you want to make sure your phone has plenty of charge for the day or if running low on the way back.It has 2 USB ports which is handy when more than one of you in the car need to charge an Apple device or you have more than one apple device to charge.It charges thing sup pretty fast and has an indicator light to show when it is charging.This seems better quality than most in car charging devices and it slots in well without really needing to wiggle.One of the better chargers for your car out there.
