I wanted this to power a range of old games consoles and computers, including Sega Mega Drive, Master System, Sinclair Spectrum etc. and it does this extremely well (certainly a lot better than the horrible, buzzing boat anchor transformers that came with them originally).What I liked about this is that the barrels are reversible, making it easy to select a negative centre pin (which a lot of these old consoles need) and it also came with the correct barrel for the Sega Mega Drive 2, which no adapters ever did back in the day. It's also impossible to alter the voltage while the adapter is connected - this is a good thing as you don't want to accidentally knock a switch and fry your electronics.This

I was a little concerned when I read the 1 star reviews, but now I have read the instructions it's clear those problems could have been avoided if those reviewers had taken a few moments to do the same.The device comes with adapters that need to be fitted the right way around. This is really easy as there is a symbol on each size that corresponds to the one on the equipment you will be fitting it into. I always wondered what that was and now I know. The plug of the power point end comes set to 3V, turn to the required voltage, which will also be on the equipment next to the polarity symbol, which should be next to the input point.You've now set it all up as though it was not a universal device and it's ready to plug in to use.

This is a really solid power supply. I've been using it for a variety of applications for five years now with no problems at all.The build quality is excellent. The plug unit is ergonomic and the cable is decent. It's easy to switch voltage using the supplied tool or a screwdriver, with an arrow on the switch to make it very clear what you've set it to.The pack comes with a useful range of tips, plus a holder strip not pictured above. You can reverse the polarity of any tip just by turning it around. There's an arrow on one side of the socket which lines up with polarity diagrams on each side of the tip so you can see what you've got it set to.The voltage supplied is very stable.

I bought this product to use on an old electric keyboard, and it worked first time. The product looked just like the picture, but the package was very different, and I hate blister packs with a vengeance. It could also have stood to have clearer instructions about which way around the adapters need to be inserted, and how you need to match the adapter up with the icon on the product you're using it on. But, once that hurdle was overcome, the product worked like a charm and despite the setup problems, I'd recommend this product.

I bought this as (completely different to everyone else's uses) a replacement for my DJ laser that I bought last year. The power supply snapped during transit and, as such, I have been searching for a new one. I bought this because of teh 1 day shipping and was pleasantly surprised. After reading reviews that say it doesn't work or it caught fire I was very impressed to see mine did work. The only problem I had was that it isn't clear which way to plug the adaptor into the lead.

My Adapter broke that I had for my radio so I ordered this one which I am very happy with.I gave the rating of 5 stars because it's just the right product that I need.the only thing I was a little disappointed in was I did not receive the item on the due date but I did contact the seller and they was concerned on not receiving it, they also said that another would be sent out if it was not received in a couple of days but I did get it.I would recommend this seller.

I needed a small power adaptor that would do a range of DC voltages up to about an amp (1000mA).This is a good product - its various switchable output voltages check out on the multi-meter. Importantly, this one has the ability to reverse the output polarity (most power packs don't have this feature). The output plug variety is also good, including the all important 5.5mmx2.5mm jack, (used by so many accessories in the UK).Good price too - very pleased.

This is my "Second " purchase of this particular model from this Company , the first one lasted about 3 years before it " gave up " ! , and until then functioned without any problems , " So " , because of that i decided i would give them another try hoping the new one would at least last as long as the first adapter did ! .

I sent for this adapter as I had lost / broken 2 others. This did the trick for both items and saved me money as well.Great little product with many uses as it will fit lots of different things without the trouble of buying several different chargers.I would recommend this to a friend.

I bought an item from America and no surprise, I needed to buy an alternative adapter...This was just the ticket! Allowed me to change the voltage output and also select the right connector needed.Great value for money and just what I needed! :)

The transformer/plug on my external sound card broke recently and no replacement was available.I ordered this item which provides a range of voltages and connectors. It arrived within the time specified and was easy to use. It works perfectly.

initially bought as a replacement for a tablet PC charger but then realised how universal it was with the variety of adaptors included.Delivery was prompt, price was fair for a good quality product. Cant think of any negatives for this.

I bought this instead of the "recommended" power supply which cost extra for the Zoom Q3HD. This works fine with the Zoom Q3HD,, as expected, but it is cheaper and is more useful because it can be used with other products as well.

The unit was fine as far as it went, but, although it had a choice if 'end connections', it did not have a suitable end for the item I most wanted it for. Usable for one product, but not usable for the real objective.

Decent budget adapter, bought to power a laptop cooler which didn't come with a power pack. Has various connectors which certainly cover all the types I can think of and is very easy to adjust to the correct setting.
