When Hp sell you a new printer (Officejet 6100E) they only give you starter cartridges with it which hold a very small amount of ink in them Hp 932 black and the Hp 933 colour cartridges c/m/y (STARTER CARTRIDGES). I was using about 3 black and 2 each of the colours cartridge per month and it was costing me a small forturne. I later found out that Hp do a higher yield versions of the 932 and 933 cartridges which cost only a few pounds more but hold far more ink in them than the starter cartridges which I was using before. What you need is a HP 932XL on the black which hold 22.5mls of ink rather than the 8mls of ink that is in the 932 starter cartridge and on the colour what you should be usingis a HP 933XL cartridges which holds 8.5mls each rather than the 4mls which is in the 933 colour starter cartridges. I can even go one better, I now use a company called advantage online who stock the Hp originals 932/933XL's plus do a British premium compatible 932XL and 933XL cartridges which hold a impressive 40mls black and 14mls per colour. I have used them a couple of times so far and have been quite impressed. I hope you don't fall into the Hp trap of selling a very good printer (Officejet 6100E) at a very cheap price and then trying to charge you load of money for starter cartridges which are nearly empty.......

The price for genuine HP cartridges via this supplier was less than several non-HP alternatives I discovered, albeit I always use the genuine article because they have proved extremely reliable for me over the years. The delivery turn-around with Amazon has been impressive and the product(s) in previous purchases had dates that gave me the confidence to purchase two rather than one multi-pack.In other respects the ink dries very rapidly and provides the top quality demanded, be that Draft; Normal or Best. Photographs look particularly vibrant and are untainted by irregular imperfections. Forms printed using the Draft setting are fast and uniformly of good quality. Finally,my experience with my other HP printer - an Officejet 6700 Premium - is that it has performed flawlessly whereas my son's two printers (of different makes) have both experienced dried up ink (after a break in use between university years): they both now require a professional clean to remedy the problem whereas a similar break with my HP did not - maybe I've been lucky! However, I tend to think it's not just luck because his two printers both use more ink in use than my HP does.

I have brought this genuine cartridges and used them with no issues. I decided one year to save money and buy the cheap replacements, and unfortunately, they clogged up the print heads so badly, no amount of cleaning them helped. There are still bars present when printing pictures. So I went back to the genuine items, and have not had the problem get worse. I will probably have to change the printer or the print heads to get rid of the issue. Moral of the story, choose carefully.

This latest set of cartridges are "in stock" awaiting fitting. Over the last 4 years I have only used HP cartridges in my HP 6700 printer and only the XL size. I print an average of 4 pages per day. Black has lasted 177 days, Magenta 255 days, Cyan 268 days and Yellow 256 days - all average periods. So B 700 pages, M, C & Y over 1000 pages. I print very few photographs or images with large blocks of solid colour. Overall, no complaints

Initially when the message appeared on my printer screen that some cartridges installed were previously used I panicked and requested a refund but then my friend showed me how to check the amount of ink inside the new cartridges installed on the printer screen and they were all full. I am sorry for being ignorant and writing my initial comments about the cartridges being of inadequate quality.Great product for great price.

Genuine HP cartridges are very expensive - but I have always found the cheaper alternatives to be no good at all. These do the job brilliantly, last quite a long time - and seem (to me) to be the only successful option. These cartridges do have an expiry date - and my printer won't accept cartridges past their expired date. I would therefore advise purchasing HP cartridges when you actually need to use them.

This is the second time I have used this company. There service is excellent, fast and great value. I particularly like the enclosed recycling envelope I received this time. The refills last as advertised and produce excellent copies both on paper and gloss photo paper. I would confidently recommend them to everyone. I certainly will be using them again.

Not sure, I should have reviewed at time of purchase, however I replaced all the inks in my printer with these, I have only done a couple of prints and now the printer is complaining about the pink cartridge, though I have not used the printer in about a year, so its possible it dried up, so I am thinking its that, so not marking the carts down for it.

What can you say? The cartridges perform as they should in my HP 6700 printer. I'm generally happy with both although print costs remain higher that I would like. Original cartridges are more expensive but more reliable than copies or refills so I tend to stick with them despite the cost. These prices were very competitive though.

I always wonder why HP Ink is so expensive as I have tried other cheaper Inks and get the same quality as HP, so why is it so expensive? I would buy HP every so often just to keep my A3 All In One running. There ink is still very expensive but others are cheaper and they also does great printing of pictures and documents.

So very expensive for what they are.Clearly HP (and other manufacturers) sell cheap printers and make up their losses on ink refills.I have tried substitute look-a-like cartridges but just not sure if the are quite compatible. The last lot oozed ink everywhere, real mess. Get what you pay for I guess.

These cartridges are well worth the money even though they are actually pretty cheap, all things considered.Have been printing colour A3 drawing files using an OfficeJet 7612 on a regular basis and it's my honest opinion that the lifespan is pretty good. Would recommend these to anyone who needs them.

Yes, agree with other comments that the originals stand head and shoulders above the poor quality cheaper versions. DO NOT waste your money on these as you will save NOTHING. Worth the extra every time. Please note I do not work for or have any connection personal, family or otherwise with H.P.

I went to my local office supplies store (Staples) and these ink cartridges were over £72. So it was a no-brainer to buy them from Amazon at just over £40 and save a fortune in the process. My printer recognised them as genuine HP and they work great - happy days!! Highly recommended.

I bought these ink cartridges for my husband's printer. He is very pleased with the quality and the ease of installation of the product. The only down side is the cost. We both have the same brand of printer but the cost to replace his ink cartridges far exceeds the cost of mine
