I have had my HP printer for almost 4 years now, in that time I have tried various ways, types, brands of ink cartridge. I tried refilling my own, this sometimes worked great, but about 40 percent of the time the refilling process was unsuccessful due to another colour bleeding into the other chamber thus rendering the cartridge useless (and yes I had followed the instructions EXACTLY).I have used third party compatible cartridges. These at best did not last anywhere has long has the original HP cartridge or they simply refused to be accepted/recognised by my printer.I also tried using a large well known worldwide company who refill cartridges. From my experience, the cartridges I got from them had a 50/50 chance they would work/be recognised when installed in my printer these. This then meant I had to travel back to the shop to get them exchanged, which isn't very convenient, I also found the cartridges rather expensive too.In my opinion after trying all of the above methods, the original HP cartridge is the best, trouble free way of changing ink cartridges. Admittedly the HP cartridge is the most expensive, but you only get what you pay for comes to mind.I find Amazon to be MASSIVELY cheaper than buying from most places including the high street. The quality of these HP cartridges is simple superb, you get what you pay for don't forget. The colours are excellent, vivid and are an excellent match for the colours which you see on your computer monitor before printing out. If you can get a twin pack of colour HP ink cartridges for less than 24 pounds, then why bother using compatibles or getting your ink cartridges refilled.I have seen and tried various other brands of printer too, Epson, Brother, but when compared to an HP printer, the Epson and the Brother were in my opinion providing less sharp printouts, graphics, text than the HP. Admittedly the Epson and the Brother have cheaper cartridges available for them than the HP, but it comes down to if you are willing to pay the extra to give you the higher print quality of the HP printer, the reason HP printers have excellent lasting print quality, is because the printhead is built into the cartridge and this is renewed every time the ink cartridge is changed, but the downside is this makes the HP cartridge more expensive.Apologise for the long review but I wanted to provide my experience of using other cartridges/ways of refilling, so that other people would save themselves the hassle I have had.

I have been relying on Amazon for several years now trying to save money on the cost of colour copying from my home computer with genuine HP INK CARTRIDGE PRODUCTS both colour with the HP 343 and black & white with the HP 337. These products are usually around £24 and £17 each which through Amazon you can save up to and over a third off the price which really helps people like me who rely on home printing with my work. The quality of ink is however excellent and I've no qualms about this. The quick delivery service of Amazon is also superb. However, more recently I READ A REVIEW in the Amazon REVIEW PAGES online that has now put doubt in my mind.A reviewer questioned about the amount of ink thereactually is in these cartridges.Obviously nothing can be proved unless I am stupid enough to prize open one to find out how full these cartridges really are.I do in general get through at least two b&w and one colour every month but now they don't seem to last that long. I don't seem to have increased my usage, so naturally I am beginning to wonder.Considering there is an awful amount of money made in home computing software these days. I do think it is corrupt and immoral if we as the general public are all been taken on a ride like HP. A license to print money!DOES ANYONE ELSE FEEL THE SAME?

Ink cartridges can be totally frustrating, and often a total rip-off !!High street chains (WH Smiths, PC World etc.) charge an extortionate price for genuine replacements.Remanufactured (refilled) and compatible cartridges are very hit and miss - for every one that works (and works for the same time as an original !!) two don't work or run out too quickly. Cost-wise this means you can effectively end up paying more for compatibles than for originals.Been there several times, and got the 'duff' cartridges in the recycle bag !!So it was a pleasure to find these genuine cartridges at a really good price.Delivery was excellent (arrived Tuesday morning after ordering on Saturday),and the printer loves them - no frustrating error messages like 'incompatible cartridge installed' or 'black cartridge signature not valid' !!Looks like they are full of ink as well (not half full like some replacements), as the printer has been happily chugging away and the guage is still 3/4 full. All in all a great buy - never again will I go near remanufactured or compatible cartridges !!

Having in the past bought the best on offer of the 're-filled' or 'just as good as original', and suffered either a complete failure of the warnings when the cartridge is about to run out, or a cartridge that certainly doesn't live up to expectations when it comes to print quantity, I can certainly recommend buying these REAL original cartridges from Amazon. Not only do they offer all the print qualities you expect from an original, the price is equally just as good as eBay without the hassle of bidding, loosing, and trying again. For, if like me you're cash strapped and are reluctant to bid high for fear of winning at a high premimum, the Amazon offers are just as good, one click can secure a cartridge, and delivery is quick, with packaging minimal. If you don't believe me, surf eBay, note the winning bids, usually withour postage for these cartridges, and compare with Amazon. Easy peasy

HP originals are ok but can be a bit light on ink.I refill these cartridges with Tescoe's ink which I find compatible. Pulling the label down reveals the holes for the ink, make sure you get the colours right [poke a piece of paper down the hole if not sure the top hole is yellow]. My wife is a crafter and if I did not refill these cartridges she would have to be very carefull as to what she printed out whereas now she just prints as she likes. When refilling I push the needle into the pad and withdraw it a little then fill the hole very slowly if you then overfill just pull the syringe plunger back and withdraw the surplus ink. When You are printing and the colour changes it is normally the yellow, but refill all the colours at the same time. I have made a test sheet of a block of the three colours and print this out after refilling. Good luck.

To address the comments from the gentleman who said buy ghost (non HP) cartridges -HP printers always check for authenticity of their cartridgesHe stated that he got a 24 ml black cartridge - the company he recommended doesn't stock a 24 ml compatible black cartridge for this typeHe also stated that the cartridge was cheaper - the product details are:- High Yield Black 11mls £13.48That's 11 mls not 24 mls. That's £2.51 cheaper (without postage). Add the postage and it becomes more expensive than having the supersaver from amazon. One question mate, do you work for the firm that you recommended? One suggestion for buyers - always stick with HP cartridges for HP printers - then if anything goeswrong caused by the cartridge HP will cover it

It is probably well known that manufactures sell their inkjet printers so cheap as a 'loss leader' knowing that they will make their money on the cartridges. All well and good if you are a light user. But can this get expensive if you print a lot or if you have kids that dont appreciate the finer points of strategic marketing...I tried the third party alternatives and this more often than not turned out to be false ecomomy and/or they ended up clogging my printer thus needing me to run mutiple copies through thus wasting ink and defeating the object...Untill i can find a reliable quality alternative I concluded its best to stick with HP originals but to buy from Amazon where you can often findthe best deals..

These cartridges seemed to be good value at £11.22 each; however, the quantity contained in each cartridge is not shown on the Amazon website, so I could not compare with prices quoted by other suppliers. Despatch and receipt of these cartridges was within time scales quoted and were well packaged. Now, I always buy original cartridges, as these were, so I can be assured of quality; on two separate occasions I bought "replacement" cartridges which my printer (HP Photosmart C3180) rejected when I tried to load them; once opened, they cannot be returned to the supplier so the money paid is lost!

This arrived in less than 24 hours – a record for us, and this was Supersaver delivery, not next day!Due to laziness, I'd never bothered to find out why there are several different cartridge numbers available for the same range of printers. The answer is the amount of ink; in this case, for an HP 2575, there are at least four b/w cartridges ranging from the HP336 (least ink) to the HP339. As we don't print much, it's not worth us getting the HP339, and the HP338 for under £12 is excellent value, especially as it's a genuine HP product and thus of course not a refilled one.

I have an HP printer and will not take compatible inks. So looked on Amazon & I found that I could get 2x Tri-colour inks for the same price as I could get 1x ink in a shop. Should call Amazon "AMAZING". Delivery I've found always comes before the time it states, just brilliant !!! Wouldn't go any where else. Very happy & you will be too.ONE THING I FIND BETTER TO SAVE INK !!!!!!I make greetings card for family & friends & I use a Paper which is called " Super Smooth " and it is, the inks I find stay on top, not sink in which uses more. Find it at Amazon.

I did it again - I thought I would save some money by buying a generic print cartridge from the supermarket. Absolutely hopeless - the thing had no yellow ink in it at all.So, back to Amazon, bought the real thing, a genuine HP cartridge - which wasn't massively more expensive than the supermarket one and, as usual, it works perfectly. When will I learn to just buy the best in the first place instead of wasting time and money on cheap rubbish?People tell me they get good results from 'reconditioned' cartridges. Me - I will stick to HP from now on.

This product I've rated 4 out of 5, mainly owing to the price deal offered.I needed replacement ink and only HP authentic inks seem to work as expected in HP printers. However, I didn't rate 5 out of 5 because, as in my experience, with all HP's expensive inks they always seem to develop a problem with the print heads after 6-9 months of use, before they have fully run out of ink, and the problem is such that only new cartridges can fix the issue. So, I always end up having to buy more expensive HP ink just to get my printer to work properly.

Can not fault my order at all ! , after spending a fortune on cartridges these are an absolute bargain! , I read a lot of the comments below before buying and noticed a few had said they had old or out of date cartridges sent or no pacaging but I purchased 2 , both came with full pacagine , brand new , well in date - think the date was end of 2014 .. So I'm back to buy 6 more at this price even if they weren't packed as well as you'd of luiked you can not go wrong .. Will be recomending to friends . Thank you for saving me a fortune lol :)

spot on for what they are. printed about 80 6x4 photo's from the first cartridge.( the ink warning came on at about 65 prints, but then it didn't lose any colour until print 81, when it went off suddenly. This is good. it means you don't get a slowly fainter set of prints, but one bad one, which saves loads of spoilt paper ! The second cartridge is plodding away yet, but then we have nearly done printing - for now ! I would say Thumbs up to this. we will be re-ordering soon.

I was recommended by the manufacturers to use 343 tri-colour cartridge by Hewlett Packard for my Photosmart 3-in-1 series. These cartridges reproduce accurate colour prints and I am fully satisfied with the printer model and the cartridges. Service was fast. If only the postage had been free I could have said it was a lot cheaper than buying from a catalogue. Buying through Amazon is safe and easy. I highly recommend the feint-hearted to use this line of purchase. DMB
