At first when it arived I was a bit concerned, as it shows it in a box and it was only in the silver foil pack (like when you open the box).I did think at first this may be a refill (as 7 day shop do sell re-fills). But after installation it worked perfectly first time and still is working, and my printer recognised it and gave me the ink level (which it does not do on my black cartidge when I have re-filled it).I will purchase again when I have re-filled it a couple of times and it no longer works (that seems to be the way it goes with my printer - I think the connection bit on the cartridge gets worn after so long - so then I have to buy a new one). Will purchase from this firm again - through Amazon to get my Nectar points.Or may I'll try Amazon themselves, they have now started doing genuine HP cartridges (not re-fills).

The HP 21 XL cartridge costs about £15 and prints about twice as many pages as the standard HP 21 cartridge, which only has 5ml of ink and which has halved in price to about £8.50, so the only real value now of the XL cartridge is that you use fewer cartridges, but, to me, that's a good enough reason to get the XL cartridge. The same goes for the HP 22 and HP 22 XL cartridges, but if you don't use much colour ink get the cheaper standard colour cartridge. The printer needs both cartridges in order to work. A word of advice: never buy compatible or remanufactured cartridges, which often don't work - especially the colour cartridges. Check the seller's feedback (the reviews stay the same for an item; the sellers can change)to make sure no one is complaining about receiving compatible or remanufactured cartridges.

I brought my Hp Desk Jet F380 printer/scanner for only £28.00 from Argos but It was costing me £35.00 per week on Hp originals 2 blacks and 1 color as Hp only put 5mls of ink in their cartridges. The printer was just about to end up in the dustbin when I read a review tell me to go for high yield premium compatibles 24mls cartridges. Well I though what the hell and ordered a pair. They are GREAT the black is a much deep shade of black than what I was getting out of the HP original, But the best point is they last sooooooooooo much longer the black has lasted me two weeks and the color is only showing as half empty.Go and buy this printer as its very very good but don't get conned by the HPoriginals.

Having tried most of the compatible ink cartridges for our HP Deskjet Printer due to their much cheaper cost, we were not that impressed with the results. HP originals prices in most of the high street supermarkets were way beyond our reach, until we discovered them on Amazon at a fraction of the price. So ordered the Combo-pack ( 1 black and a tri-colour ), received within a few days, and performs exactly as the originals we had when we bought the printer. All in the HP packaging, and like the originals has a built in sensor which shows you the ink levels. We saved £[] compared with supermarkets- fantastic and highly recommended.

It is immediately obvious that these ink cartridges are way cheaper than in any of the shops and that buying online is going to be the best option, so I had searched a few sites before making my purchase and the only cheaper option I found were "compatible" cartridges which I have never tried personally but have heard can give problems and was advised against by 3 seperate people who had used them. The ink arrived very quickly (ordered on a Wednesday afternoon and received Friday morning)which I was impressed with and was printing out my daughters homework that evening.I will definitely be buying again once these run out.

I have been a user of HP 21 and 22 Ink Cartridges for a long time.Over the past couple of years, the price of these inks had escalated so much from my usual supplier, that I had to seriously cut down on my printing. Then someone said to me "Why don't you look on 'Amazon' website". So I did, and in a few minutes I had found my inks at half the price of my normal supplier AND they were delivered free of charge within about 4 days. How good is that? Very, very good Amazon - well done! I now recommend your site to all my friends and it will be my first port of call when I need to purchase something online.

Because this is a repeat order, I think I can only give this 5 stars. It is the cheapest way we have found of buying ink for our HP printer, that isn't non-HP ink.Having had my printer at work go completely belly-up as a result of using non manufacturer ink toner (and be unusable for about a calendar month), I am pleased that I have always bought HP ink for my home desk-jet printer and this offering seems to last us a very long time, based on our very limited usage.I can heartily recommend this to those who use this ink, it is much cheaper than buying them separately.

I am not sure how to review this type of product. It is as it says on the box a black and a colour inkjet cartridge. As an HP original it performs as the original supplied with the printer.Far better than the compatible cartridges sold. The only real comment is that by buying from an Amazon trader I was able to buy the cartridges at less than the cost of the printer, the list price of the cartridges is actually dearer than I paid for the printer. So much for saving the environment when it could be cheaper to buy a new printer than replacement cartridges. So shop around.

I buy these on behalf of my mother who is in her 70's. She needs to be able to simply take out and pop in the new cartridge without any fuss. She has never had any problems with the cartridge. The cartridge is excellent value for money, especially considering that it is an Hewlett Packard original ink cartridge. The print quality from this cartridge is good, just as you would expect it to be. It was delivered to me very promptly. As for the cost of the item, I've never seen this product cheaper...it usually costs double this price on the high street.

I use my home computer and printer regularly in my work, and have always had excellent results with these cartridges. (The printer will not tolerate the cheap versions, so I have to get the real thing.) I'm printing mostly drafts, but I find that draft/economical quality printing is perfectly adequate for actual letters, etc. as well. I only change the setting to normal quality for documents I need to photocopy. At draft quality, the cartridges last for dozens of pages after the 'ink low' warning comes up, which is helpful when doing a long document.

I love HP printers, they are very often the tops, well almost, there is the cost of the replacement cartridges. Platinum is less costly. I print as little as I can, because it is so prohibitively expensive. These piddly cartridges should cost 98p maximum for black and £1.50 for the colour. Sorry boys you are way over the top and not just yourselves. The sad fact is that there are more and more of us with PCs, but less and less with printers. Seems as if along with the bankers, the printer manufacturers should look at corporate greed!!

These standard size HP Original cartridges may seem expensive compared to some of the "XL" generic replacements available on the market ..... however I believe you get what you pay for and quality has never been a problem with any HP original cartridge I have bought (same cannot be said for my experience with remanufactured alternatives!)Compared to the high street price these are great value for money and continue to be a regular purchase from Amazon for me.Highly recommended.

This product does what it is supposed to do. It is far superior to my previous Amazon purchase of ink for my HP printer which was a remanufactured cartridge from Quality Ink Cartridges and which lasted only a few uses before it began to print erratically. Since Quality Ink Cartridges were not interested in my feedback, I assume that the poor performance is typical of their cheaper offering. It is well worth paying that bit extra to have the assured quality of a proper HP product.

Some other reviewers appear to have received refilled cartridges rather than original HP cartridges. Having read those comments, I contacted Amazon's Jersey Merchant to confirm that the item sold by them is an original HP product. The item that I received appears to be a genuine HP product. The price is good compared to the RRP. I have yet to decide whether I would purchase further HP cartridges at a similar price or compatible cartridges at an even lower price.

The ink is fine, does the job and speedy service from IJT Memory, however during the ordering a second window came up and requested my invoice address. This appeared to be part of Amazon so I filled it in. I now have two lots of ink, one from IJT and the other from cartridge king. The Cartridge King paperwork also states the next order will save me money and offers 75p of the next purchase. The ink is the same but I now have double the quantity and double costs.
